      On 4/25/25 I called Endurance to cancel my warranty. They sent me a form to print, manually fill out (no online capabilities) and take to a notary. I objected to the notary step (and the associated notary fees) as an unnecessary obstacle to canceling the agreement. An agent pushed back and advised just go to your bank and ask for it. After repeated requests to escalate the issue and waive this notary requirement, including one instance where an agent hung up on me, I finally found someone that verbally waived the requirement. I then submitted the form and they said they couldnt accept it because my phone number was not filled out. They use my phone number to access my account and authenticate my identity. Asking for my phone number again seems unnecessary and an intentional obstacle to cancelation. In short, this company makes it extremely difficult to cancel all while marketing a cancel any time benefit and feature. Many consumers are likely to be taken advantage of by the process and stay in warranties longer than they want. These practices might be considered a UDAAP violation. At minimum, they are shady tactics and unethical.

      I am rejecting this response because: Endurance Warrantys most recent outreach was more of the same deceptive acts and practices. An agent contacted me saying it was call to process my recent cancelation. No mention up front about the complaint I filed.

      The agent went on to say it looked like I was due a credit and that, as a courtesy, they would waive the $50 cancelation processing me. My response was that I was A) unaware that a fee even existed for canceling and B) was equally unaware that a credit was due. As a matter of fact, I explained to them, I just received a bill for a May payment - one week after canceling. The agent said that the May payment wouldnt be required if I accepted the credit amount they were offering (roughly $200).

      They went on to explain that they would send me a link that I could use to formally accept the offer. When I asked them to send me the link to review the details the agent causally slipped in ok. Once you accept the credit amount well process it and reply back to the BBB. This was the first mention of the complaint after nearly 10 minutes of talk time.

      I immediately said oh. This is an attempt to resolve my complaint and not a cancelation processing call at all. Is that correct? The agent replied, Im sending the link with the offer and then abruptly ended the call.

      I am currently traveling with family and will accept their offer upon my return home late next week. I do this mainly as a means of putting this horrible experience to rest.

      I still maintain the company is complicit in deploying unfair and deceptive acts and practices. It should be investigated.

      I took my truck to ******* Chevrolet because it would no hardly run. They looked at it said #4 injector and connector was bad. I told them i had a warranty with Endurance they called them with the problem and they denied the claim. So I told them to go ahead and fix the truck and I would pay for it and call them to get my money back because I work out of my truck every day and I needed it back as soon as possible. So they fixed it I went to pick it up and paid them $3042.31 and the dealer said call them and I could probably get my money back. So I called them they denied the claim because they said I already paid for it. I ask them if I could send in my paper work to see about getting my money they said send it but they would not promise anything. T he truck was repaired on 12/12/24 I have not heard nothing from them since. The truck is A 2019 ***** silveraldo vin *****************. I told them someone should go to jail because they are just ******** peoples money but they did not care.

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. On December 12, 2024, a shop contacted Endurance to file a claim under the consumer's contract. The shop reported the check engine light is on, the engine is misfiring, and they requested to replace fuel injectors and a glow plug. Endurance explained that an inspector would be sent to verify the failures, and the shop stated the repairs were already completed. The claim was excluded for no prior authorization, at the bottom of each contract page,it states, "NO CLAIMS WILL BE PAID WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION." A manager has reached out to the consumer and explained the claim and contract in detail. We appreciate the opportunity to address the consumer's concerns.

      I've had endurance car warranty for my 2015 ML 350 ************* since October of 2024 my wife also has her vehicle warranty with them because of me. The purpose today is because of a payment that was withdrawn for my banking account in the amount of $169. Prior to the money coming out of my account I called ********************** and asked them would it be okay if I made this payment on the 9th of May They told me that will be fine there will be a $5 late fee We both agreed that was perfectly fine I wake up this morning $169 was taken out of my account normally this would not be a problem but I asked them days in advance to switch the due dates They agreed and still the took of the money for my account which caused me to be short paying other bills! I don't understand WHY it takes 5 to 7 business days to return money back into my account when it only took seconds for them to take it out! My wife and I are thinking about cancelling our accounts for one my car has been in the shop TWICE and you guys COVERED NOTHING and now THIS. ALSO prior to this My Wife had a complaint about being over charged. Which is why we're here today once they over charged her the salesman switched our due dates around.       04/08/2025 I have a 2018 kia ******* I bought in June of 2023. It has excessive oil leaks. I've had 11 oil changes since ******* spark plugs have went out for the 3rd time since I bought this car due to the oil leaks. I had it towed to the shop where there head mechanic said it needs a new motor. They sent everything over to my warranty company which is endurance. They have sent me through loops. They requested every oil change invoice. I have all but 2. I even sent them over the vehicle history report. They wouldn't replace it without the 2. Customer ********************** is absolutely terrible!!I pay for the warranty, I expect to get the things replaced that need replaced.

      After paying thousands in a warranty, we take it in for a relatively simple repair. The service person (Endurance approved) warned us that we would probably be paying most out of pocket due to Endurance denying claims. We ended up paying the entire neatly 400 dollar bill. Even the service person was surprise because any other warranty would have easily covered our claim. Avoid Endurance Car Warrenty at all cost. Because, it will. Trust!

      I called to check price for warranty on 2021 Spark. Spoke with agent and agreed to warranty over the phone. Paid $136.57 for down payment and $29 for digital activation fee. Then I received the contract via email. After reading through the contract provisions, I decided to cancel. Did not want financing on my credit report. I called and requested cancellation the same day I received the contract. Asked if I needed to send a letter, but was told that because it was same day, no letter required. I received an email from Line 5, the credit company showing cancellation without a date and zero refund. The fine print on the contract states I may have to pay a $50 cancellation fee, despite online advertising that shows 30 day money back ************ addition, the *** **** says I may have to wait up to 6 weeks for any refund.This is unacceptable, especially because I had to pay a digital activation fee..

      My complaint is that I was under the assumption that if anything happened to my vehicle it would be covered by them. I was red flagged by the company and I didn&#**;t know this. They never notified me but keep taking money out of my account. I would like a refund.

      We have purchased Endurance Warranty after the purchase of a used truck. We were sold one h*** of a policy! It had full extended warranty coverage from bumper to bumper with few exclusions. Upon reviewing the exclusions, they were things such as vehicle trim, door handles, paint scratches - things you would not expect an extended warranty to cover. We were advised that if there were any problems with our vehicle it would be covered - no questions. Well 3 years of dealing with this fraudulent company and I can tell you that is far from the truth!Every service visit is an argument. What is the worst part about this argument is that after signing a contract with Endurance, they aren't even the ones covering my vehicle. Some random company call ************* Direct handles the claims - and denies everything. They state that even though Endurance may cover that claim, they do not. I was contacted by Endurance - sold a warranty by Endurance and signed an agreement with Endurance. My coverage book states Endurance, as well as my warranty cards. Who the h*** is ************* Direct? Short and skinny - I was sold a fake warranty, by a fake company that is now being handled by another fake company with nothing but bad BBB reviews.

      I live in an area that does not have auto repair shops who work with endurance although it says you can go anywhere. This is not part of the complaint as I live in a semi rural area and not unusual for certain things to be difficult some in my area. After trying with a local Midas, and never using my warranty which I have had for about 4 months now, I noticed Repairpal which lists the shops who work with Endurance. I am about ********************************************************* ******** IL. for a few things I had been made aware of are needed with my 2014 ****** Versa Note. I made the apt online and went to it 4/9/25. The person was pleasant but young and seemed a bit inexperienced but for his age he did seem to try to do well as I was there as he looked over the things mentioned with my car for about 30 minutes. He took my email address and I had thought he said he would email the estimate etc. of the things endurance covers and what they do not as one is an exhaust issue. What was expected to be covered was tie rod, control and wheel bearings. I received a text from Ware Auto ************, relaying the mentioned are covered but he did not put the wheel bearings on the claim. I asked if he would please find out from endurance and he said that he would get back to me and never did. Based off of this and a few other things I felt uncomfortable with Ware Auto and contacted a different shop via repairpal - FullServ in ********** **. who looked thoroughly at my car yesterday 4/21/25 including the suspension in which sway bar links are needed and both tie rods not just one, plus the control arm mentioned. FullServ contacted endurance and was told that Ware Auto had been paid for the one tie rod and control arm. I never went back to work with *************. I call endurance today 4/22/25 and was told I need to get a zero balance invoice from Ware. Ive texted several times and nothing plus called and it goes to voicemail. Endurance **** have been extremely unhelpful/rude

      I filed a claim with Endurance who *** paid hundreds of dollars to for a repair service that is listed in the contract I signed with them. They have been terrible at communicating with myself and the **** dealership. After a pre-approval they denied the claim stating there was no failure, however the dealership has argued that based on their evaluation there is a totally failure. **** has shared that Endurance has approved the exact same claim numerous times and I believe they are discriminating against me to fix the repair.
