I signed a contract with Endurance Warranty services for my **** **** F-250 on October 4th 2021 and paid a premium due to a rebuilt title. That's all fine but then when I took the vehicle into the shop on September 29th 2022 for a new Power steering that was "covered under warranty" the shop called Endurance and they gave permission to to the repair. During the repair they found that the vehicle also needed a High pressure oil pump. The shop call Endurance on October 14th and Endurance said that is was a covered part but they would need to send someone out to verify. During the verification time October 18th 2022 they found that the truck was missing its catalytic converters. I had no idea that it was missing so it must have been taken out by the previous owner. However Endurance told the shop that they are not going to cover any repairs and that I had to call in and get my money back and that they were going to cancel our contract. This should be Fraudulent on Endurances part! I never did any modifications on this truck since I've owned it. They need to stand up to the contract they had with me and not the previous owners. This is what they have charged my so far. $131.07 Monthly Premium time 12 months = $1,572.84, Down Payment $248.35 and ***** Fee elite club membership Totals $1,841.19 Contract #EADV16084014. On 10/4/22, the consumer's repair facility contacted Endurance to file a claim for a repair on the consumer's vehicles. An independent third-party inspector was sent to verify the failures and the vehicle's status and condition. During the inspection, it was noted that the vehicle had been modified by removing the catalytic converters. As this vehicle had been modified, the claim could not be authorized.VIII. October 18, 2022. Very shady company. I applied for coverage on August 15, 2022 for my vehicle. They spoke very friendly and assured me everything on my vehicle was covered and that all I had to do was give them the mileage, the make and model and after 30 days and ***** miles I would be covered for repairs if my vehicle sustained them after that period. They also told me a person would contact me to get exact mileage and other information, but I was NEVER contacted so I called in to get an update and they told me that I could just give them the mileage over the phone and that someone would later call to confirm this. So I randomly gave them a number around what I thought was the mileage, *******. It was just a guess, well theyre excuse is that they didnt call me due to them ASSUMING this was the exact mileage because people dont usually give an exact number like this, and they checked my car fax and it showed that this mileage was under what was reported at a repair facility about a year prior. So due to this my claim was denied. Very unprofessional and shows they dont care at all about their customers. My vehicle is now at the shop needing repairs and Im in a bad situation and all theyre saying is this is just unfortunate for you and that they did no wrong. They never followed up to ensure correct mileage, they never told me any more information besides well call you to get mileage and after that you wait ***** miles and 30 days!!!!!! And are now saying I can only cancel or start a new policy but my car wont be covered cause its now considered pre existing issues. They scammed me and dont even care. I was sold an extended car warranty by Endurance on September 16, 2022 in the amount of $121.31 and additional $20.00. On or about October 12, 2022 I called in to Endurance to cancel the car warranty that day and never received a confirmation email regarding this matter. However, a company associated with Endurance tried to charge my credit card but the cardholder stop payment due to fraud on October 16, 2022, the card was closed that same day. On October 18, 2022 out of good faith I reopen the policy with Endurance in the amount of $121.31 due to their website stated that they provide oil changes but found out by their customer ********************** I did not qualified for that service although I purchased their best car warranty.Business Response

I have been waiting for Endurance Warranty Service to pay for my auto repairs. After a month of waiting and calling them repeatedly, they finally told me that they were not going to pay. I want my money back, $2700.Business Response

The check engine light came on my vehicle on 9/23/2022 and I immediately made an appointment with a shop that I found through the endurance website and parked it until the appointment on 9/27/2022. I had not had any prior issues with the car at all since I bought it in December this past year. This was not a pre existing issue. The light came on after I had already been covered under endurance. I have attached documentation showing where I have kept up with all of my routine maintenance with the vehicle. It also shows the inspection that is done on the vehicle at every oil change. These inspections show that there were no pre existing issues with the vehicle. Endurance will not cover my repair, trying to say that the transmission issue was pre existing. I have provided them with this same proof that there were no pre existing issues with the vehicle at all. They are still refusing to cover the needed repairs. They are in breach of contract. The shop has also tried to talk to them and explain that is was definitely not a pre existing issue.Business Response

The company refused to pay for services rendered therefore, the bodyshop refused to give me my car back. The did not pay them in a timely manner in fact it was after hours and the business was closed on Sunday. Therefore, I was left without a car. The company is refusing to pay for the rental car as promised. Making up excuses that they paid for services. I have emails letting them know the bodyshop refusal to give me my car unless they receive payment. I would like the body shop to pay for the rental car and or reimburse me if I have to pay. I also would like to get reimbursed for the battery which i was promised they would and did not.Business Response

I was paying extra money every month on my car note for this warranty. They didnt pay for my rental, they didnt pay for the repairs on my vehicle, and one of their employees made racial remarks to me while on a call with him, he even encouraged me to threaten the mechanic with violence to fix my car. I am now without said vehicle, and have paid over **** on a rental and they would not help me with anything. I want to be reimbursed the money that I paid for my rental or I am filing a discrimination lawsuit and will *** for the total amount i owe on my car because they employ racist people who make offending comments because of my race. They made it so difficult for me, my car was in the shop for two months and at the end they said they were not going to cover a teardown or the repairs to my vehicle. I am pretty sure they can go back and listen to past calls and listen to what he told me. I need this resolved or I am filing a lawsuit.Business Response

I purchased a secure plus warranty contract for my 16 f150. The exhaust manifolds ended up failing so I filed a claim. This part is specifically listed as a covered part yet the company is coming up with every excuse to not pay out. They claim that the stud broke first which caused the manifold to warp which is absolutely ridiculous. My truck is at the **** dealership and was diagnosed by experts who work on this brand Everyday.I will be filing a lawsuit asap. You should avoid this warranty company.Business Response

The experience I have with them seems like a scam. I invested over a year paying them every month $164. The one time I filed a claim it was a mix up and they just noted it with no claim filed. The policy was put on hold due to the car in the shop and found other means of getting the work done and paid for. Instead of starting the same policy it was renewed and transferred the balance of the previous policy to new policy. Long story short I had to wait a **** miles before any repairs so I just canceled the policy. Money put $2326 the refund was only $1096 for cancellation. The only explanation was that its like you buying car insurance and you never get the full amount back from your insurance company. But at least the insurance company pay for you a car if you pay your insurance. They did nothing but took money to keep a policy open.Business Response

On 8/3/33, Mr. ****** purchased an Endurance Advantage Prime vehicle service contract. The consumer stated that his exact mileage was *******. Please be advised, that Endurance Advantage Prime has a 30-day and ****-mile waiting period. Any failure that begins prior to the end of this waiting period is pre-existing and cannot be covered.
On 9/26/22, a representative from Dr **** Affordable ******** contacted the Endurance claims department to file a claim for repairs. The vehicle was driven in with ******* miles 6 days before, and the repair shop reported failures to multiple components. With this mileage reported by the shop, the vehicle was still in its ****-mile waiting period, and the claim was subsequently declined.
Please be advised that the contract has been canceled at the consumer's request. Based on the customer's total paid in amount of $1,331.86, a pro-rata refund check for $1,096.08 was mailed to the address on file on 10/3/22.
