      I had a homeowner claim with Allstate due to a windstorm that damaged my siding. Allstate sent out an adjuster that deemed I needed a full replacement. After the adjuster deemed it a full replacement they assigned me to a separate inside adjuster that offered me an extremely low ball offer. I did my due diligence and got 3 separate quotes. They initially did not want to increase the amount at all, then said they would only take the lowest quote instead of throwing out the high and the low like in normal insurance practices. After fighting for weeks on my own behalf they finally agreed to the middle quote. They took depreciation of over 3000 dollars with the expectation that would be returned once proven the work would be completed. There was a caveat that the work needed to be completed within ****************************************************** an area that was considered a catastrophe it can take longer for this to be completed. I was told that they are aware and to just give a call once the proof of completion is done. They are now keeping my depreciation due to siting that same rule. Beware they will do anything not to pay what they owe.

      I called to cancel Allstate car insurance 11/21/24 because the policy ended 11/24/24 and we got a new vehicle and wanted to switch companies. I did pay my homeowners insurance through Allstate, which also renewed on 11/24/24. We got Progressive Car insurance starting 11/23/24. I received no correspondence from Allstate regarding car insurance. I received a letter in June 2025 that I was sent to ************************** for $223.01. When I called Allstate, the representative said that was the payment for the coverage for December 2024. I explained that I didn't renew my policy and did not pay for coverage. After several phone calls and emails showing proof that I had coverage with a different company, there is still no resolution to this. They are expecting me to pay for coverage for December 2024 because I didn't cancel according to their protocols. I was not instructed of how to cancel and received no information that they were even covering us. We have excellent credit and do not want this affect our credit score.

      I have called Allstate on numerous occasions trying to deal with this issue. I was told that someone would call me about it and almost a week has passed and no one has called. I have spoken to supervisors and customer service. I would like my credit collections to be deleted and my account balance at zero.

      RE Re: CAS-********-W8C0S2 : [EXTERNAL] Re: CAS-********-Y7D1X4 Allstate Insurance Company I formally requested to invoke my rights under Rhode Island Privacy Laws more than two weeks ago, and the organization has had all the necessary information to proceed. Instead of responding appropriately, Im being redirected to phone calls and voicemail systems, which creates unnecessary delays and undermines the seriousness of my request. I am asking again for a direct and timely resolution, in accordance with state law and need your help. Thanks.

      I’m rejecting this response because the chat function does not work, and I’m repeatedly directed to call in. The email support also instructs me to call, but I’m unable to do so during your limited business hours.

      I am rejecting this response because Allstate's email and chat direct you to call, when you call, you get a voice message. Their response is not a VALID response, it is a run-around. Happy to give them one more chance to give BBB a valid way to get a response vs a run around, otherwise I am forced to escalate this as they are violating privacy laws. Thanks so much.

      I have been trying to contact a person who will close this case for hours now, and I keep getting c*** that they can not do this, It is on my ******** account, and ******** will not remove it until someone in your company removes it Allstate. I have tried to contact the original person who put it there, but she moved on to another company. Also, the place is closed where she was, So I have been doing this for over five hours now, and no one can help me. Not even corporate. Will you? Please see below for information.

      *** had a homeowners insurance policy with Allstate since 2023. January of this year, an ice storm caused a roof collapse. The adjuster Id initially been assigned to traveled here from ***** and contracted a local ladder assist. Due to safety concerns we postponed the inspection to allow the ice to melt. During that time, my original adjuster was called away. The adjuster I was reassigned to proceeded to cancel the request for ladder assist, refused to inspect the roof himself, and denied my claim. After being ignored, I managed to get in touch with a supervisor who suggested I submit documentation of my elective full roof replacement in September 2024. The adjuster acknowledged receiving the documentation and disappeared again. Ive been ignored by several supervisors, and today was my final attempt requesting a different adjuster.

      I’ve been ghosted by the adjuster, his direct supervisor, and her supervisor. I’m not surprised at this response. The only reason I finally complained with the BBB is because you can only upload prior to filing a court case, which is the only remaining option. This company doesn’t honor their own contract. Their negligence is vexatious. And the adjuster they sent in their COMPANY CAR is a documented drunk driver.

      You may want to adjust your cookie-cutter response and replace “confidentially” with CONFIDENTIALITY. I’d also suggest updating your contact methods by adding your company can be reached via court summons/subpoena. I look forward to hearing from Senator Hawley, with whom I’ve filed a complaint against your company. He made it clear insurance companies would not be allowed to defraud Missouri residents, but I suppose Allstate’s “confidentially” clauses include avoiding reading the room.

      6/29/2025 My monthly premium more than doubled the amount. They said it was in addition to a vehicle, but I was quoted for a far less amount when I inquired addition of said vehicle. I called multiple times to resolve this issue and was hung up on. Was asked to pay unfair amount.

      I am filing this complaint due to Allstate Insurance Companys repeated failure to respond to my attempts to settle a vehicle repair claim. Over the course of approximately six months, I have sent a total of fourteen emails to Allstate regarding my repair estimate for damage to my vehicle. These emails included detailed repair estimates and a formal demand for payment. Despite multiple follow-ups and requests for acknowledgment or response, I have received no reply from the company.This lack of communication has delayed necessary repairs to my vehicle, caused significant inconvenience, and reflects poor customer service and claims handling. As a third-party claimant, I expected timely communication and a good-faith effort to resolve my claim.

      Allstate Insurance Company has failed to handle my bodily injury claim fairly and in good faith. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident caused by their insured, and despite clear medical documentationincluding diagnostic imaging confirming a fractureAllstate has repeatedly delayed resolution, made unreasonably low offers, and refused to accept financial responsibility for necessary ongoing medical treatment.They have attempted to justify these lowball offers by focusing on the minimal visible property damage, which has no legal or medical bearing on the severity of bodily injury. As a result, I have suffered prolonged physical pain, emotional distress, and financial hardship due to delayed treatment.I have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this matter. However, Allstate's actions reflect a pattern of bad faith and non-compliance with Texas insurance laws requiring prompt and fair settlement practices.I am requesting that Allstate respond in good faith with a fair settlement offer, and that the BBB investigate this conduct and assist in holding the company accountable. Formal complaints have also been submitted to the **************** of Insurance, and legal action is pending if a resolution is not reached.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Allstate’s response to my original complaint is both inaccurate and dismissive of the facts. Despite my full compliance in submitting all requested documentation and supporting evidence, Allstate has yet to resolve my claim in good faith. Their continued refusal to fairly address the damages sustained—despite clear substantiation—is unacceptable.
      Rather than acting in a timely and reasonable manner, Allstate has engaged in delay tactics and presented unjustifiably low settlement offers that fail to reflect the extent of my medical expenses, pain and suffering, and the overall impact of this incident. These actions constitute clear signs of bad faith handling and an unwillingness to resolve this matter justly.
      I stand by my original demand and request that this complaint remain open until a fair and adequate resolution is reached.

      As of today, I have yet to receive a response from Allstate despite more than 24 hours having passed since my last communication. This continued delay and lack of clear communication in resolving a valid and well-documented claim is unacceptable and further demonstrates a pattern of bad faith claims handling, as defined under Texas Insurance Code § 541.060.
      Allstate has had multiple opportunities to address this matter in good faith. I am requesting immediate follow-up and a materially revised offer to avoid further legal action.

      Barn roof damaged in storm Allstate adjuster ***** refused to cover essential repairs, flashing that ripped off Plywood warped under shingles and damaged corner I told him NO Way just slapping new shingles on 1/2 the roof when pics clearly show both sides had issues would pass an inspection! That fell on deaf ears contacted my agent who said he had NO authority to question adjusters quote! Tried to contact Allstate corporate directly the link to email stated UNAVAILABLE !! Filled out the form stating please send info to CORPORATE instead I got a call from the SAME Adjuster who approved only sub par repair on claim **********

      I am rejecting this response because: I don’t feel your adjuster understands Batman roof repairs he didn’t include several Absolute necessary essentials like flashing subwood that was lifted up  did not include any base snow/rain barrier required under shingles in Michigan etc then state he only wanted to replace 1/2  the shingles. Further went on to insinuate I did some of the roof damage. I am 75 years old afraid of heights His Entire Attitude was Disturbing and offensive! I pay my insurance premiums and expect better from AllState  Ridiculous he feels he can take advantage of an elderly woman I’m sorry but his quote would be for sub standard repair that my county inspector would NEVER Pass

      I am rejecting this response because:I previously reached out to company via email link which took me to a page stating it was NO LONGER available and to submit a form via text which I did Requesting it be forwarded to Allstate corporation instead it was rerouted back to EXACT same adjuster I had the issue with !! I later submitted photos via BBB website as proof of damage. Allstate has put me is an impossible LOOP with zero resolution to the problem I reached out to my agent directly and was told he couldn’t interfere with the adjuster decision ! So far your company hasn’t made any attempt to address the issue Stating you can’t discuss the cost of roof repair with BBB is sadly ridiculous

      We've had Allstate for many many years my daughter recently had an accident that they refused to repair because she is 21 years old and is not on my policy she was allowed to drive my vehicle but Allstate refuses to pay . It is my belief because it was totaled she's had *************** minor but they've always fixed them with no complaints my son also had a minor accident and he is not on our policy but they fixed that as well but now that the vehicle is totaled they are not willing to pay for the total loss amount or to have it fixed.
