Was qouted $8,000 for floor replacement with removal of two layers of floor. Installer comes out and says the sales associate made a mistake and didn't charge correctly for the floor removal. Empire manager call and said it would be $3,000 more for removal of the 2 layers of floor. Reluctantly I agreed. Then the installer said he would surely damage the subflooring removing the old floor so he would need to install all new plywood on top of the old plywood. Empire manager called and said it would be an additional $4000 to put all new plywood down, So to summarize, sales associate came out and bid job at #8K with full knowledge of the floor layers needing to be removed, the installer came out, saw exactly what the sales associate saw, and the cost of the job amost doubled to $15,000. I did not move forward with the job and will never consider Empire Today again for floor replacement, terrible company. Stay away.Empire Today, LLC

The Empire Today sales representative, ZR, was on time, professional, brought all the samples necessary and knew about the products that Empire Today had to offer. The day of delivery, the two installers called ahead and verified that they would be at my home at 11 a.m. and they were. They went right to work until the installation was completed. I love my new carpet! It was a joy to see the 40 + year old carpet go out the door! The installers cleaned up as they went and did a great job! I appreciate the customer service **** as well. I had one small issue that was resolved right away.I will call Empire Today again for my flooring needs!Empire Today, LLC

Our floors are great. The install crew was amazing. However, the communication with our sales **** financing, and the local office was terrible. If we were not careful, we would have been over charged.Empire Today, LLC

Terrible installation, warranty guarantee, and customer service!A few days after installation of the vinyl laminate I reached out to my *** that the floors seemed to have areas with a bubble and would move when walked on. She said that was normal because they put the laminate directly on the slab which might have been uneven. I questioned that there was nothing put down to even it out and she said no, they dont do that. That seemed ridiculous to me but she said there was nothing they could or would do. I couldnt believe it but just put up with it even though it had cost me around $********* forward three years, I notice the laminate is warping and coming up off the slab. In addition the pieces coming up have started peeling from being walked on or who knows what. I file a claim. They say the installation warranty is only 1 year and the only other warranty is for accidentals. What?? There is no warranty on the actual material itself? They say to send pictures and fill out info. I do. Another ****** contacts me and asks for the same. I ***ly I already sent it and then when i get another request I forward the initial email to them with the same info and pics. I call and speak to the first ****** who says they will have the second ****** call me back bc they are now in charge of the claim and thats weird they didnt get the first pics.Two weeks later and no return call. I call again. They tell me the case has been closed bc I never sent pictures- what?? And they have no record of me calling. They tell me again someone from the local branch will call me back (no they cant give me the number directly). I find a number anyway and ask for a call back bc the wait is so long. No call back.This company is pathetic, useless, and completely corrupt. The lifetime warranty is clearly a joke and there is no way to get a ****** on the phone who can actually help.Empire Today, LLC

Not a good company. We had carpet with Empire installed first and started having wrinkles in areas after a little over a year. We were told that the material was under warranty but the labor wasnt so we would have to pay to have someone come out and fix it. At the time we were also having laminate flooring installed and right away we started having buckling issues even before we put furniture on it. Someone came out and told us it was because the flooring is in the sun and thats gonna happen unless u cover it or put up better shades. Mind you, they came out and gave us an estimate, never mentioning that the sun hitting the floors was going to be an issue, they took care of the main areas but then told us to put furniture on right away. Now, less than two years later we have major buckling in areas and pieces that are separating badly. I wish I could attach pictures. We were told the same thing, the material itself has a warranty but the labor doesnt. I wouldnt recommend Empire to anyone.Empire Today, LLC
