ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! Empire is a terrible company. We had a nice enough sales person, but that's where they sucker you. She talked about all the great products and how they had a sale. Come to find out there was only 4 products on sale and they were out of most of them. We picked from the very slim options. We financed and were told no deposit was needed, and then before she left we had to pay $3000 to secure the installation. Ridiculous! We got carpet and vinyl kitchen flooring. We were told they could not do it same day, but 2 days concurrent could be scheduled. Carpets were up first. We were told we would get a call when installers were on the way, never got it. A crew of 3 showed up with no identification of what 3rd party contractor company they were with and they spoke VERY little Enlgish. We were told we would get a walk through and description of what they would do, and how long it was expected to take. Never happened. They did a poor job: they had the new carpet unrolled outside in the dirt/leaves/insects/etc, they left the door wide open letting all the heat out even when they weren't transporting anything in or out, one of them burned a large iron **** into the new carpet, and they did a horrible job patching that area with replacement. Kitchen floors were delayed. They called and said they were not yet available and had to come another day. Kitchen got rescheduled. Yet another no English speaking 2 man crew with absolutely no customer service skills at all. They were mad that they had to take up the old flooring when it was clearly on the paperwork. They disappeared for over 30 minutes without saying a word, then came back and walked straight into my house without knocking, announcing themselves, or even speaking to me! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!! Empire should be shut down for miserable customer service and lying to or ignoring customers. The workmanship was terrible too. NEVER AGAIN! They charged me $3000 Plus for the luxury vinyl flooring. I got scratches on it right away. I got a sample of luxury vinyl tile from ********** and when an inspector came out to take pictures and I used a knife on the ** one and showed no matter what I did there was no scratches. Today they called and said it was our fault because we didn't have the proper coverings on our furniture legs although we did have coverings it wasn't what they wanted us to use. My husband and I are both Seniors and spending that much money and not getting what we paid for is a crime in my book. Please people do not buy from this company! The one from ** has a 25 year residential warranty and empire has a 1 year. I want them to come back and take this flooring away and give us back our money so we can get the one for sure that we paid for.Empire Today, LLC

We had them come and install LVP in our bathroom. They caulked by the tub with a caulk (cheap) that basically turned to cement when it dried. LVP has a pad on the back so when you walk on it there is some give in the flooring, however the (cheap) caulk that they used had no give which resulted in cracking by the tub. They came out and redid the caulk today... didn't remove the old caulk just went over with new (cheap) caulk that has turned hard and will crack when we walk on the floor again. The correct caulk should have been an expensive silicone caulk that doesn't crack. Not happy that we have to do it correctly.Empire Today, LLC

I have been battling with Empire Today for MONTHS.....Flooring was not installed correctly, damage has been done to my home from the install and then I was told it should never have been installed to start with. They installed in MARCH and have not corrected anything. They have called several times to sell me more Flooring. And if I don't pay I get turned into collections. The amount of issues on this install can not even be listed due to character limitations. I will never recommend this company.Empire Today, LLC

This is the most incompetent company I have ever had to encounter. Why should it take two visits for repairs and they no nothing about the purpose for them being here. ********************** is the worst customer service rep at that company. They obviously dont care about their customers. All they do is transfer you through the entire company. Just USELESS. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.Empire Today, LLC

This company does not stand behind their product. They are quick at getting a salesman to get you under contract, but once you pay they forget about customer or their commitments to kook at warranty claim.Empire Today, LLC

Horrible nightmare! Cannot believe a nationwide company is so irresponsible and still in business. Sales people measure wrong. Installers leave without doing anything because lack of communication. Try to make it right by telling you they will come back and do not show or even call! Wasted time if you have to take off work! Don't risk your job! Can' believe their still in business with this kind of customer relations! Spent thousands and was left holding the rug!++Empire Today, LLC

I contacted Empire to install new carpet in my home. They called me the day before to notify me that they didn't have enough of the carpet that I selected to do the job. So, the salesman, **** - came to my home the next day to bring more carpet samples. I selected one and we scheduled my installation for 12/12/2022. **** then called back to state they could do the install on 12/4 instead so I agreed to this change. The installers came on 12/4/2022 - for the most part they did a good job. I took issue with the fact that they went into my bathroom and had a bowel movement. It was disgusting to say the least. Next, they finished the downstairs and stairway at 7 pm on Sunday night. They stated that they did not have enough carpet to complete the job and would notify the company. On Monday, 12/5/2022 - they corporate office called me to inquire about "why I had not completed the install after I was given a quote". I really did not understand why the corporate office had such poor communication about their customers. On Tuesday, 12/6/2022 without a notification - the installers showed up at my door while I was at work to finish the upstairs. However, I was at work and could not let them in. On Wednesday, 12/7 - I received a text message that they installers could come back on Thursday, 12/8/2022. I left work early to meet them at 2pm; however, they NEVER showed UP!! They called at 8 pm to attempt to then come to my home and complete the work. I told them I was in bed as I had to work early the next day. The lack of placing their customers first is concerning. I have YET to receive a call from this company about the poor customer service and the unfinished installation of my carpet. This company is TERRIBLE, and I will let all of my friends know to NEVER do business with them.Empire Today, LLC

If I could give a -10 I would!! This has by far been one of the worst contractor experience in my 30 yr career as a Realtor. Im representing a Charity who was donated a condo in *******. I met with ******* on 2 occasions to get measurements on a downtown condo. I was treated like I was NOT important, almost a bother as it was a small job. He gave us a bid, we accepted, and then **** he disappeared. I did Not hear back from him, text, emails, phone calls, calls to his manager. NOTHING!!About a month after calling & texting he said, Hey, ya, we have you on the schedule for this Monday. He never showed!! He put the project 2 months behind which has now cost the Charity/owner thousands of dollars. He bid $2900 for a job that did NOT include putting an underlayment that was required. In order to do the job it is now $11,000. ******* should be sued. His cell number is ************. I called his manager and got the run around on he was busy.This man, ******* and EMPIRE FLOORING as a whole has taken no responsibility for their lack of actions.I find it deplorable that this company continues to sham their clients. On Dec 1 I signed a contract to have three rooms of fls done. I was told by the sales representative that the fls would be finished in one day. He never said that on person would do the ceramic and a different person does the hardwood. He said they would breakup the old floor, place the cement down. Leave it and while it was drying they would go upstairs and do the 2 rooms of hardwood fls. That was the 1st lie and issue. The guy came on Saturday to do the ceramic floor and told me that he was only there to do the ceramic and that someone else does the hardwood floor. He said it would take 3 days to do the ceramic. I told him the sales guy said it would take 1 day to complete the 3 rooms. Well today is day 4 and my ceramic floor is not completed. Day 1 they broke up the old flr and did not do what was need to stop the dust from going everywhere. My whole house is full of white dust. Everything has to be washed. I wish I could upload the pic. Day 2 they ran out of tile. Day 3 they put down the grout and said they were coming back with more tile. Day 4 I received a call stating that the tile was picked up and the installer was coming. A different guy comes with the tile and refused to put them down. He said I had to have the orig. *** come back and finish the floor. **** serv called the guy and he said he was coming btwn 1-3 and would call a half hour before he came. 2:45 no call, no guy. I called cust serv. The guy didnt answer. So they then tell me that the guy isnt coming because he doesnt have the tile. The first guy have the tile and he needs to pick it up from him. They said the guy can come tomorrow on day 5. No one is home for a day 5. That was never the sch. ****** tells me that they will give me 50$ for my inconven. It cost me over 250 to buy food for the past 4 days for 3 people. Not to mention that I have to wash everything in my house because there is dust everywhere and all they keep saying is sorry and 50$ is all they can give me. Day 1=day 6 ??Empire Today, LLC
