Salesman and website lie about the durability of their lvp flooring and the company doesn't want to honor warranty when there is an issue. First and last time doing business with them.

I had recently bought myself a multi family home last year and started using it for rental income. I spoke with representative ********************* about the price to install carpet into the dining, living room and walkway. I explained to rep that i wanted the cheapest price for the carpet and also that I have a business and will be using this for income. the representative then quoted me around $1700 and took a hundred dollars off as a discount. Fast forward 2 months later i told my wife and she said that it didn't seem right, she said that she will call Empire and get a quote for the downstairs unit to also install carpet into it. My wife was able to get not only the living room, dining room and walkway but also 3 bedrooms for the same exact price including taking up the carpet that was already there where they wasn't any carpet in first unit that had carpet installed. I definitely was robbed and don't know if rep pocketed the money or what but he didn't do me any favors. I honestly would like my money back or find some type of resolve because this isn't how I want to do business in the future.Empire Today, LLC

We decided to use Empire Today to replace the flooring in most of the rooms in the house. The associate who brought samples to our house was so very helpful in choosing a type and installation method (we chose to lay it at a diagonal). It was expensive, but we are so very happy with the quality, professionalism, and follow-through of the product, installation team, and our designer.Empire Today, LLC

Empire Today does not care about how there employee simps on there work. The floor was not complete with edging. And we are told the floor shrinks when you put water on it. If thats the cause, why would you install it or sell it for a bathroom or laundry room. Then when he reinstalled the toilet, it was leaking at the base. The manage said they are not plumbers and to higher one and they will reimburse us. I cant get them to give me a fax number so I can get my money back and they wont fix the edge the looks like c***Empire Today, LLC

If it were possible to leave any less than 1 star, I would.. Deceptive salesman sold me one carpet of good quality and the installers came with one that was low end and should be in a mobile home. I was unaware of how bad it was until 10 minutes after the installers left and I walked on it for the first time. Stiff as a board, bare spaces, poor quality padding all add up to the most horrible carpet ever. There is a big gap in a doorway without carpet and the installer suggested that I paint it. After my poor review on ****** (they requested the review), they sent another salesman to look at the carpet and he agreed that the carpet was definitely a low end carpet and not the $1,200.00 one I had purchased. I never received a contract from the original salesman via email as he promised, just the receipt for my down payment. The company is willing to "make this right" as they have admitted the carpet is not the quality I should have expected, and they say it will only cost me another $560.00 to remove this mess and install new upgraded carpet (the one the salesman had originally sold me) That will be nearly $1,700.00 for a 12x20 living room carpet!!!! When I asked the representative at Empire Today if she thought that was maybe just a bit extreme, she calmly said no.. that prices are high for everything these days.I thought I was getting one carpet, they install a different piece of ****, and now I have to cough up more money to get them to install the one I already paid for!!!! We had empire install carpet today in our upstairs bedroom remodel. The carpet is beautiful. However, they broke a valuable Angel ****** that was on the lower level in our living room. They cleaned up some of it but there were shards of porcelain everywhere. They offered my husband money but he had no idea of the value so no compensation was given. They also walked on our nearly new carpet that was installed 11 mths ago with there wet shoes and thought nothing of it. I'd love to contact empire but there doesn't seem to be any customer service available that I could find regarding complaints. Very upset about my mothers ****** being destroyed and their disregard for walking with snow filled shoes on all our floors & new carpet.Empire Today, LLC

If I could give a negative start I would. I bought carpet from Empire and it was installed on 10/21/22. The installation of the carpet was fine, but when they left I realized that the carpet looked very different from the sample that I had chosen. The carpet is very bad quality and it is not what they claimed on their websites. After many tickets the original sales rep came out and he brought the sample which still did not look like that. It was very close, but was not the same quality at all. The carpet I got is very thin and when you vacuum you see streaks that look like terrible stains. Over the streaks you see all of the footprints. The website said that it hides vacuum marks at footprints and it does the opposite - it highlights the vacuum marks and the footprints. I have done many tickets and sent over 10 pictures showing the sample I had originally taken a picture of and the different pictures of the streaks and the bad quality of the carpet. I paid over $5k for this carpet and I am so sad and disappointed with the quality of carpet that I received. All they keep telling me is that I signed the installation paperwork which I did, but when the installers left and I had a chance to review what I had I could not believe how terrible it looks. The thing that really bothers me too is when we were close to the installation date they had originally told me that they did not have my carpet and asked if I wanted to pick something else out on the website. I told them no I wanted my carpet that I ordered. Now I have to wonder if I just got some cheaper version of it. Like I said it looks close, but you just have this little sample to go by. I will make sure that all of my friends, family and co-workers know what has happened here. They have done nothing to address this, but keep saying I got what I ordered. It is just the worst false advertising that I have ever seen in my life.Empire Today, LLC

I had a sales rep come, measure and quote. I got done thinking about it and decided to move forward with my project. I've called and emailed my sales rep. I've talked to customer service 2x. Each time, I'm just told I'll get a call back "shortly" from ******* and or a manager. I won't be calling them again. I've given up and going with another company. I doubt they will even try to call me back. What a waste of time.Empire Today, LLC

I hired Empire Today, knowing that you may get different sales people, and different installers. I have to say that my sales person ****** was awesome! I was obtaining a quote for 14 stairs, upstairs and downstairs common area for my condo complex. I wanted a commercial grade carpet and ****** showed me the different styles/colors. I told him I was in a rush and he accommodated everything quickly and efficiently and a price that no one else could match. The installers came out the next week, ripped out the old carpet and padding, installed new padding and carpet successfully with no issues! I'm completely satisfied and would use them again in a minute! I only had 1 slight issue with the carpet on the upstairs needing to be pulled a little tighter (because it is commercial grade and harder to stretch at the time), but other than than 100% satisfied. I feel that when I call to have the minor stretch done, it will be done with no issues.Great job team! Multiple missed appointments, **************** can only pass a message to ****************** which does not respond while I wait on hold. Nor does installation pick up a direct call. Promised call backs do not occur. LVP is only partially installed. I have a toilet left in the middle of one bathroom for well over a month now and another bathroom that has not been started, though it's been standing ready for months. My original purchase was close to 3 months ago, and I'm being ghosted.Empire Today, LLC
