************************* from Empire gave me a quote to replace my carpet with vinyl plank flooring. She stated that Empire would beat anyone's price. I had two other companies give me quotes and I reported those to Empire. Their original price was $7126.26, and it was reduced to $4850.00. I paid a deposit of $1781.57 to *****. When the installers came, they said the balance was $5344.69. After several phone calls, it was determined that the balance was $3068.43, and I gave them a check for that amount. Now I am being harassed for an outstanding balance of $642.88. I have received several phone calls and three demand letters. Empire is trying to charge me for their Empire Service Plan - an item that is listed in their Contract Payment Details. When asked if I wanted it - "Yes or no" - I said I was not paying any more money and that it was already in the contract. ************************* called on October 6 and left his phone number. I have called him back five times and have left messages each time. ***** texted me on October 28 that ****** and ********************* would "get back" to me, but no one has as of November 10. I would never do business with this company again.Empire Today, LLC

- 5 Stars 11-7-2022 C/S Manager ******************* you called my wifes cell Phone AGAIN. I called & left you a message that do not call my wifes phone shes a bus driver! Job done 4 months ago & have been trying to get the warranty repair scheduled for 3 of those with no solution Ive sent pictures twice, talked to more than 15 customer ****************** employees with your **. sent several e-mails and received 4 Different reference numbers as well as scheduled Appointments you ** misted and dropped and never set up. For two of those months the only callbacks we got were to set up the new flooring installation at my rental home. I explained that this job Im not getting the warranty taken care of was the test that your ** Empire Today has FAILED and to stop call about a new install that I just want the warranty repairs done. I'm going on my 5th page of notes and have waisted SEVERAL ********** trying to resolve the issues, but our Penance is wearing thinEmpire Today, LLC

Empire was very quick about coming out in installing my carpet I have no complaints about that however when it was time for me to report a claim from the warranty department it has been a week and still no answers. I was told that my call was transferred to the wrong department and its a process now I have to wait 2 to 3 more business days for someone to contact me from the ******************* I have a warranty with Empire and apparently the *************** will not contact you, they will install it but don't ask them to come fix anything. My carpet is wet and this situation could have been resolved almost a week ago. Im afraid the carpet is going to get mold and Im going to be forced to reace it. The carpet installation for one bedroom cost over $1300 and I paid it in cash, Plus I paid for the warranty. I am ****** because if the carpet is ruined I dont want to pay to have it replaced. I did everything I was supposed to do I had the carpet dried and waited so the padding can be replaced now the moisture has spread through the entire room and all the padding need to be replaced since its been sitting for a week.Empire Today, LLC

Dishonesty by installers. Stole money and lost a remote. Additionally, Empire would not and did not replace damaged planks of flooring. Even though money was taken off my bill, it solves the theft issue.Empire Today, LLC

I had empire come to my home for a consultation and the salesman didn't know anything. What the mil was on flooring or who made the flooring. I called company before install they said they would call me back within 24 hours and they didn't. Install was done and The Flooring had manufactets defects and I wanted them to fix it. My Install guy was very polite all the way thru til the end. He noticed a tiny gap in kitchen flooring and he got a hammer and kept saying I fix (he could not speak very good english) I told him no but he continued and now my flooring in kitchen is totally gapped and messed up. After this before he left My install guy ended up being very inappropriate to me in my house at this point he knew I lived bymyself with my 2 chihuahua dogs. He was very aggressive and would not stop. I kept calling empire and they gave me a ticket number and again this 24 hour call back that never happened. Their installer got my number off my contract and repeatedly called me since 10/11/22 until 5 or 6 days ago. I kept calling empire and found out previous tickets were not turned in. They did send an inspector which was the same installer and again he cornered me. It's now been almost a month and my kitchen floor is still messed up due to installer my new living room floor is still not changed and I have a very hard time feeling comfortable in my own house. As of today's date nothing has been resolved. Be careful ladies and anyone empire is a customer service company and they don't do it well.Empire Today, LLC

I was excited to replace my carpeting with a laminated floor from Empire Today. I am very disappointed with their lack of transparency, and warranty follow up. There is none that I am aware of, and they said they would repair my buckling laminate ---- for over $3000 WHAT A RIP-OFFEmpire Today, LLC

Let me help you save thousands of dollars and a huge headache. Dont hire this company. Weve been battling Empire Floors for over a year now. I hired a licensed flooring inspector who determined that empire didnt level our floors, they left exposed nails (knowing I had a small baby crawling) and they left us on cold hard concrete for several months. They kept saying we had a leak so we hired multiple experts to find a leak that was never there. They never relaid our floors, said they couldnt put floors on our slab. So, I hired a competent company that understood flooring to lay ********** that are perfect now. Im still out $12,000+ and empire refuses to reimburse our money.Empire Today, LLC

BEWARE! They pulled the classic ************* Con! They came and gave estimate for removal of old tile and multi levels of linoleum, and installation of vinyl tile and carpeting. They prepared a contract with this specific ****************** which I signed.After months of waiting for the flooring to be in stock, ON INSTALLATION DAY a technician came and looked around. He stated that the labor and materials would cost a lot more. When I refused to pay any more than the contracted amount he called someone. He said someone would be calling me and just left!No one called, so I called them. After much arguing, they refused to honor the contract, all they could do was cancel the order. Feeling I had no choice at this point, I canceled. Now after months of waiting I am back to square one. Im so frustrated, angry and feel I fell pray to a scam. I wonder how many people they do this to who actually pay more for installation than they contracted for, because they felt they had no choice.Empire Today, LLC

Zero stars was not a choice so they undeserving 1 star will do. This company did a total bait and switch leaving me to pay top dollar for cheap carpet that wouldnt be suitable for a dog box or lose $1700 of deposit if i canceled. The carpet that was delivered was wrong color. Their customer service is awful and do not care one bit about customer satisfaction. Stay away from this company they are nothing but scammers. Once you give them money they send you whatever they want and hide behind their contract and dont even attempt to make it right.Empire Today, LLC

Horrible customer service. They are known for pulling the bait and switch on pricing. I was quoted a price and then had to fight to get my quote in writing. Once I had it in writing I agrred to an install date. When the installation team showed up the price they had was much higher than what my quote was. After nearly 2 hours of phone calls they finally found the issue and agreed I had the correct price but then said they would need to charge me more to remove the old flooring. Why was this not in the original quote? Did they think they would install hardwood over the carpet? I was told by an installer that they do this all the time and customers are furious about it. I then paid half of the cost with check and put only half on the empire credit card. I just received my bill and they have charged me over $4,000 more than the agreed on price on the credit card! This is fraud. Save yourself alot of headaches and go with another company. Empire Today will rip you off. When I contacted the customer service rep all she did was tell me to call my sales rep.Empire Today, LLC
