      Zero stars for this company. I will never patronize this place and encourage all of my friends not to either. For a company whose mission statement highly regards customer service, this is complete LIE!!! DO NOT SPEND YOU MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. They installed the wrong color and the only feedback was, "we were going by what was stated on the contract". The initial contract was not warranted. The only change I made was in the padding, NOT THE ****** I ended up giving this place $3000 of my money to have the wrong color installed. Next time make sure the actual color a person asks for is ENLARGED on the contract and not the size of a MUSTARD SEED and that your sales people speak clear English so there is no miscommunication.

      This is a poor company! They do nothing after the sale. My floor is a total disgrace and now no phone calls and no new floor after I was told they would replace What a scam of a company. They make an appointment or tell the customer that and then no one shows. Now I called the ** now I am being toward they will call me *******-5 hours! I want my money back and I want them to pay the finance company they use. To pay for a shoddy job with out hearing from this company is a shame.

      Opening statement: I will never recommend this company to any of my friends nor my family.We have decided to use Empire Today to install Carpet in 2 rooms in our home. So, I scheduled an appt. (October 7th) to have a sales rep to come to give us an estimate. The guy was informative on what to expect before and after the installation process; at this point my husband asked him about the "Transition Strips", the Sales Rep assured us these will be installed along with the carpet and that the installers will match the color of the Transition Strips to the color of the wood floor in our hallway. Anyhow we were satisfied enough to go ahead and have them do the job and we set up an installation date for October 21st.The installer showed up as schedule, he did a good job installing the carpet however when my husband asked about the Transition Strips, he did not know anything about it, he stated there was nothing on his work order about any transition strips. He was very apologetic and immediately call the customer service line at **********************, but no one answered the phone, he left several messages. The installer left, later in the afternoon my husband received a phone call from customer service (*** was her name), my husband explained the situation and she told him: Sorry, the transitions strips are not included in the price the sales rep quoted, that we needed it to pay extra for them???. My husband told her that was not going to cut it and she said: Well, sorry it is what is. She did not even care to make the situation better, not even an apology. Then to make matters worse I have been trying to get a hold of the Sales Rep since October 21st and have not received a phone call back from him as of today October 27th. He is probably thinking if I ignored them enough, we would get tired and give up. Shame! Shame! Shame!.What a company of losers!!!

      I had to give 1 star or I couldn't leave review.I didn't want to even give them 1 star. I have spent over ****** in flooring and Empire is great and punctual to come and sell and install, BUT if you need any kind of repair, forget it. I have spent months waiting for someone to come and repair our VPF. I so regret using EMPIRE. My husband has waited for days after they assure us they are coming and they do not show up. WARRANTY means nothing when you can't get them back to your house.

      I cant believe that when you look at Empire Todays site that they have only great reviews! They were horrible to work with. Our floors are terrible . We paid $10,000 for this cheap peeling floor. It seems these were defected when put in. They said they were lifetime warranty! Thats a joke. I realize now. If you need to talk or hear back from headquarters- GOOD LUCK! They are the worse company that I have ever dealt with. Think twice before you purchase from them. I wish I could show the floors. CHEAP and embarrassing!

      Had an estimate appointment scheduled 3-5pm today. Agent called and asked to come at 2pm. I confirmed and was home at 1:50 . Agent did not show up and when I called her an hour later said that she could not find parking (apparently she did try to call once, but the call did not go through). I live in center city and there are at least 10 paid parking garages within 2 blocks. When I called the company they told me that I can reschedule for two weeks from now. With this kind of service, I will go for other options.

      I think that this company has gone downhill! They did laminate wood flooring for me several years back and everything went smoothly, so I decided to use them again. This time was completely different! The sales person was very nice and said that his manager was going to give me a great deal because I was a repeat customer, but that is not how the project finished!!I did get an installation date soon after my sales person did the measuring, but the installation and customer service are my problem! The sales person told me that I just needed to remove all of the small items and that the bed and larger items would be moved by the installer. I was shocked to see that they sent one person to do this job for three rooms of carpeting!! I told the sales person I would not be available until after nine, but the installer showed up early and complained about having to move heavy furniture, so they charged me extra! They also brought 7 yards of extra carpet that we didnt need, possibly for the closets, which I would have guessed they wouldve measured, but the installer said that The closets were not included (HUH???!!) nothing against the installer, but we had a difficult time communicating due to a language barrier. I offered to help the installer by vacuuming up the rooms when he was finished and moving the furniture back, except for one room he had to put the furniture back into. Maybe because of the language barrier, the installer also did not tell me that I would be charged extra for the heavy furniture, even though it was just beds and a couple of empty bureaus. When I called customer service, they were rude and uncooperative and said that even a bedside table would be considered heavy furniture!I will never use this company again and you, the Better Business Bureau, should be lowering their grades based on all of the reviews Im seeing as of late!!

      My experience with Empire Today was excellent. Pricing was explained for sales and regular prices. The installation team was exceptional. They were very knowledgeable, courteous, quick and thorough.

      Empire did amazing job from start to finish. My wife and I are very happy with the flooring they put down in our 3 bedrooms. I would highly recommend using Empire, what a wonderful job they did

      The sales person told us we can cancel the contract anytime and get the deposit back. However, the contract clearly states it can be cancelled within in 3 business days. For this reason alone I'm cancelling the contract. He should have been honest with us and told us we have 3 business days.Called today and customer service said they'll start the cancellation process but I need to speak to cancellations to get the deposit back. My call was sent to voicemail after being on hold for about 10 min.
