      If I could leave 0 stars I would. The worst customer service ever. I worked in home construction and my wife currently does. I had LPV installed and just past a year there was a 3x5 foot section that buckled the worst I have ever seen. My wife and I (who worked in the business) inspected the floor and ran tests. I called Empire and paid $150 for them to come look at the floor. If I went with them then $75 would go towards the costs. After their "inspector" arrived and took my money he looked at the floor. What he told me and what he reported seemed to be slightly different. All of a sudden it was all my fault and not a product or installation issue. After an hour of trying to get to an agreement I asked for the cost to repair the floor. They said $320. I agreed to pay it f they would get it scheduled and repaired. I scheduled and confirmed the repair for a week later. The late afternoon of the day prior they called to say they can't get an installer and to call them back. After multiple call backs no one returned our call to provide us any information.After two days they never showed and kept trying to reschedule. they refused to compensate me for the cost I am out of pocket because they are a clown show. I called the original installer who said he stopped working for them because he and others don't want to be associated to the way they do business.The original installer said he installed it and will fix the issue for free. I will pay him for standing up and wanting to do the right thing.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EMPIRE. They are a clown show that will not stand up and do the right thing.

      If I could give Empire 0 stars I would! We have been having issues with our LVP since installation! 1st, when the guys installed the floor, one of the tiles was broken, it has been 2 years of me calling to get it repaired and now they are stating it is out of warranty and WE have to pay for it to be repaired. I called multiple times, and scheduled for someone to come out, twice they just didn't show up and then 1 guy came out but didn't turn in his notes, then a 2nd girl came out and again, didn't turn in her notes. It has now been 2 years, multiple inspections later, because they are claiming it is normal wear and tear, $175 out of pocket costs, they are still claiming it is our fault. When it is FACT, it is an installation problem. The floor was installed too tight, it is buckling, peeling. I do not recommend this company! They are all talk and no action. All we are looking for is for them to admit they installed our floors wrong and fix it.

      I had hired Empire Today to install new flooring and carpet. They had told me with the carpet install that there might be a problem with the doors not having clearance because of the thicker carpeting. The installers left before I could inspect the job, and when I did, several doors were hard to open and close, and needed to be shaved down so they would work right. But when I called Empire to ask that this problem be fixed, they said that they wouldn't come back to fix it.

      Empire installed lament flooring Feb 2021 one year later 2022 only replaced half of it due to floor cupping .. its throughout the house but they claim only in most visible area now after replacement in kitchen 6 months later its peeling and also cupping they say its because of Bona cleaning solution that they told me to use on the floor and the only thing I use on the floor .. if it was the Bona why is the rest of the flooring not peeling ??? I feel they just put down old flooring when they replace now they say not going to replace because of the product used ? Are you kidding me ?? The product you promote is wrong product to use on the floor that is peeling in kitchen area only AND regardless of what is said the floor is cupping thorough out the house .. paid a-lot of money for my home to have poor flooring and even worst customer service from ********************** . They said I could pay another contractor for opinion and turn that into them But that would not confirm a replacement ! This flooring is horrible !!! Wish I had never spent my hard earned money on Empire flooring.

      Id give them no stars if that was an option. The customer is atrocious. They changed my installation date without contacting me. They tried charging me a $1000 cancellation fee when I told them I wanted my money back then they said it would go towards a store credit. The sales rep acted like her estimate was only good for the day she gave it to us when normally estimates are good for 30days. There was a local lady that finally called back to apologize but I will never use this company and I will also urge everyone else to avoid this company as well. *** disputed the charge with my credit card company since this company is the one that breached their own contract. Also, they claim the carpet went out of stock yesterday, again, no communication whatsoever.

      Worst ever!!!!!!! We had decent carpet put in and less than a year it looks like the carpet is 10 years old. It is flat and matted, especially in the hallway. Someone won't even come out to view, they want me to send pictures which will not show the extend of wear.Carpet from ****** wears better than this c*** I do not recommend this company! Do yourself a favor and save the headache, and money of having to submit a claim less than a year after purchase.

      It seems we have had every problem EACH BAD Reviewer had as well. My LVP floor was paid in full on or about June 30th 2022 during the first installation. EMPIRE demands the balance be paid prior to completion of the work (RED FLAG). I did not receive a receipt until I demanded this, by the way I wish I could post images of the receipt. No matter what you do it will print garbled (Not a clear document- Not sure why).There is no transparency about the installation, I was not told that 5 bags of cement come with the order for leveling floors, nor was I warned that if you needed more leveler it would cost more. BUYER BEWARE, YOU ONLY HAVE A FEW DAYS TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL. During my installation, the contractor discovered mold in the steps of a back room, we were told to remedy this prior to completion. Upon resolving the mold issue, we rescheduled for completion of the installation. The contractors came to our home and stated that they could NOT complete the work as they had incorrect information on their order and did NOT have the appropriate material to complete the work. We called Empire in (***) and told them the issue, days later another contractor came and stated the same; the order was incorrect and he did NOT have he appropriate material. During our initial conversation we told the operators that the work need be completed prior to August 19th as our tenant is coming home. WELL, it has been days since we were told we would have a call back in 24 hours. NO one in the *** office will respond to our calls NOT C Polozella, **************** and the Manager *********************, the most Irresponsible, unprofessional supervisor there. We reached out to the salesman who is on his way to ***********, he stated the supervisor was having a tough day. It is 8.23.2022, we not heard back from anyone; this is shameful disgraceful and just WRONG. *** office Supervisors should ALL be released of their duties. WE DEMAND A RESPONSE TODAY!

      I have used Empire in the past and was very pleased with their work. I have recently had my basement stairs carpeted - WOW what an awesome job the installers did - they were so professional - they cleaned everything the way it was when they came. Today I had the rest of the basement finished with vinyl flooring - again the installers were awesome and they did an exceptional job - they moved my (2) freezers and put carpet under them ;to make it easier to moved across the new floor. I was go pleased with Empire service and installation.

      I paid in full UPFRONT to have carpet installed in master bedroom. Received emails and texts confirming installation. Day of installation- NOTHING! Didnt hear from anyone so I called. Was told installation was rescheduled for 4 days out. I asked to cancel as work schedules were changed to accommodate and this is an indication to me of how they do business.Was on hold for over 15+minutes with the cancellation ***** when a recording came on asking me to leave contact info. Called customer service back and asked for a manager. Was told theres no manager. Had to insist on speaking to someone above her and was told I could speak to a floor supervisor. Another red flag. Playing with words and titles.Bottom line, I cancelled my order but they are keeping 25% because its past the 3 days of when I placed the order. I think theyre scamming around the timeframes and I will get to the bottom. They dont show up, no contact whatsoever, then keep part of your money claiming its in the contract because I didnt cancel in due time. I cancelled because no one showed up nor contacted me. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LAZY INSTALLERS!! We just had carpets installed this past weekend in our newly purchased home. It was a big job but they only sent out 2 guys. One of the 2 man crew that came to rip up and replace our carpets decided to go outside and take a nice long nap in the truck leaving only 1 guy working on all 4 bedrooms/hallways/stairs. It got to the point where my husband saw how much this kid was struggling he went and helped him while the other guy slept in the truck. We called and complained and were met with the most unprofessional manager name ***** Her response was she would speak to their manager and gave us a $75 credit mind you we were paying close to $10k for carpets and vinyl flooring. I will NEVER use this company again.
