      ****** ******** was great! He showed up on time (thats a feat considering most contractors) and was pleasant and friendly. We didnt feel pressured and the quote we were given was what wed expected. He did a great job matching our current flooring and took time helping us understand our prep work. Empire Today should be so proud to have ****** on its team and in homes representing the brand!

      This was the worst experience I have had since becoming a homeowner. We were set to have new flooring installed on Sat 5/26/25. On the Thursday before, we were told that we needed to spend an extra $1k to have our floors removed because he "forgot to add it to the contract." We agreed. When the installer showed up on Saturday, he said that the flooring that was sold to us would not work on our floors and that he couldn't do the install. He informed us that we would be hearing from someone at Empire to rectify the ************ is currently Wednesday and I have yet to receive a call. I've submitted two tickets to their helpdesk, one of which was a pure escalation ticket. I called and left multiple messages through the customer service ***** who all said that every time they called the local branch, they received no response. The escalation ticket was assigned to someone and finally, the customer service *** gave me that person's contact information (***** ********). That ticket was created Tuesday morning. It is currently Wednesday afternoon. I finally got in touch with him and not only was he super rude, he was also incredible unhelpful. He had no knowledge of my ticket and was upset that the customer service *** gave me his contact info. He told me that it was not on them to rectify the situation since there was an issue with my flooring. The only way he could help me was to get me to call the 800 number and get in touch with the salesperson. I asked him why I would do that when this was a failed install. He said that there was "structural damage" at my house and that relieves Empire of their liability.I told him that it had been days and countless hours of my time trying to get a solution and that STILL no solution had been offered. I said that my house is completely empty and I have a newborn and would like to know what is going to be done to help me. He said "you'll have to talk to your sales ***."These people are scammers. Do not use them.

      I was lied to by their salesperson, and no one made good on making it right. I was sold *** instead of ceramic tile of false pretenses. The salesperson came to the consultation showing me vinyl flooring. However, I informed him that I did not want vinyl because I had vinyl on my floor and wanted to go with ceramic. He then went to his vehicle and brought samples that were passed off as ceramic and proceeded to sell me vinyl. Unfortunately, I was not at home when the floor was installed. Otherwise, I would have stopped the installers. However, when I got home to see what was installed was not what I agreed to, I reached out to the salesperson who had no remorse and was very nonchalant about the whole incident. After days of leaving him message after message and calling the main office, the salesperson claimed he'd talked to his manager and that he'd be reaching out to correct it. It is now two weeks, and I have not heard a word from Empire. I have since filled a dispute with the finance company..

      Contract was not honor in a timely manner nor installation completed as told. Took off two days of work for a installation that was told to me would be completed with 2-4 hours. Not enough materials and was told the job would be completed on the following Saturday, it is Tuesday of the next week and I have NOT heard from Empire, nor is my flooring completed.

      HORRIBLE! We are greatly disappointed in the job that was done on our house. We had a new wood floor and carpet installed in our home, and it was all done as a rushed job in 1 day. Salesman talked us into doing both at the same time by offering us the "special discount". The workmanship was shoddy! FIRST: When they came to install our wood floor, the main guy changed our contract saying the salesman didn't know what he was doing or saying. We wanted our old laminate flooring torn up and replaced, but he said it wasn't needed. They put some adhesive down before installing the new floor and it's not level at all. There are areas in the floor where you can see there are slight rises and lifts. SECOND: We had carpet installed downstairs in our main rooms and in the bedrooms upstairs. You can clearly see the seams where they put the pieces together. They never blended together so you can see it in the main living room floor. The carpet is buckling already as well in 3 of our rooms! I called Empire and they sent someone out to review it all and his response was that our house was still "settling". It's a 30 yr old house!! All of this happened within the first 7-8 months of installing so the flooring and carpet were still under warranty. They refused to help us and said it was on us. When I called about the buckling of the carpet and that it needed to be stretched, they were going to charge me an extra $400-500...on top of the $15K that I already spent on them. It was excuse after excuse; they did not offer anything to help us. I would NEVER use them again and never would I recommend their services. They are by-far the WORST company I've ever had to deal with in my life. I tried to reach out to the salesman; it's not a shock that he's no longer employed with Empire.

      This was an extremely disappointing experience.They had promised to install the carpet on the day I selected it, which was the next day.However, the next day, I received a call informing me that the carpet was not in stock and that the installation could take several weeks. Consequently, I was forced to select a different carpet in order to have the installation completed the following day.

      We had a good buying experience with our salespeople, ******. He was patient and knowledgeable about the products. No pressure selling. Unfortunately, the product we wanted was not available in several choices. But thats not his fault. We settled on a carpet we liked, and signed the contract. ****** emailed it to us and then we noticed after he left, that we were being charged an upsell for an extended service plan ($820), and he never mentioned that we were being charged for it. He did say everything is included in the price many times. We would have appreciated being asked if we wanted to add on the cost of the ESP, which we would have declined. So I will be calling tomorrow and canceling the ESP from our contract. However, after reading many many reviews on Empire, Im hopeful that our install goes well. Seems like there are a lot of people that are unhappy with the installation teams and jobs done. We have worked with Empire once before years ago, and were satisfied with the job done, so were leaning on that and going ahead with the job. Im expecting it to be as good or better, so I hope they send their A team. We expect to to go well!
