I purchased a car in 2020 from a salesman who no longer works there that did a bait and switch. I test drove a 2021 ************************ was sent home in a loaner until they had the paperwork finalized, and then later on was given a ******* Elantra SEL. I couldnt do anything about it because I was told they had already gotten rid of my 2019 *******. The true issues began a month after that. Since Ive purchased this vehicle it has had multiple issues from: shutting off multiple times, apple car play doesnt work, the sound in the speakers is faulty, and every time I take it back to be fixed; they try to sell me a new car. They kept my car at one point for over 30 days trying to fix the issue. I even went through ******* corporate to have this car taken back because it is clearly a lemon (the girl working my case even agreed) and the dealership claimed to have fixed everything (which they in fact have not), which made me lose the case. Not true. There have been 4 recalls on this car that have NOTHING to do with the issues I mentioned above. The car is clearly a lemon and no one wants to fix the mistake. ***** always said if there is an issue or another recall, to text him right away to have it addressed. I did, twice. This review is only scratching the SURFACE of other wild things that have occurred at this dealership from false promises, credit checks, license plate mix **** the body shop they use for repairs, you name it. Lies, lies, and more lies. Stay away from here, and dont trust anything they tell you. And if they promise you something, GET IT IN WRITING SIGNED by a manager and not a salesman because they will claim its not true.

I have been a customer of this location for over 11 years having purchased 2 from Napleton (and the one that purchased before it was the same location but a different owner). I had scheduled an appointment to drop off my 2018 Jeep Compass at 8:30am. They were going to run diagnostics based on my concerns and contact me back. After 11 hours there has been zero communication from the service center - to include what is wrong with my vehicle, what services are recommended (and getting my authorization for those services), and when my car will be ready for pick up. I placed 5 telephone calls and 1 email with zero response. I am now without a car, with kids that I have to get back and forth to school and I am a stage 4 cancer patient that cannot be without a vehicle for whatever undisclosed amount of time the dealership holds my vehicle hostage for. Based on the other customer reviews it appears this ***************************************** as a whole doesn't care about their customers anymore. Also, I think it is unfair that they reviews do not allow for other customers to see which specific dealerships and locations they have had issues with.

I recently bought a car from this dealership. I agreed to pay the sticker price. When presented with papers, it was about ****** $ more than the sticker price. I was told that included the extra packages, (that I didn't want) and the fact that this was a "rare" car. (Never did figure out that one) My husband and I agreed to split some of the difference. They said that was not good enough, so we left. About a mile down the read they called us and agreed to our price. We then were told it would take about 15 to 20 minutes to talk to the financial guy. It took 4 hours of waiting. Every time we inquired, we were told, Oh, just a little bit longer. I fully think this was orchestrated as a "punishment" for not going along with their price in the first place.

I am 74 years old and have bought /sold many cars. I had a "VIP appointment" to see a used car that i was interested in. This was the worst car-buying that I have ever had! Will never go back there.

I brought a car into Napleton's VW of *******,** with a *** Instant cash offer as they were the program dealership listed on the *** site. They looked at the car and said it was worth almost 35% less than the *** offer and they would just send it to auction. After some negotiation they still said it wasn't worth the *** price and because we had a good experience at another Napleton's VW dealership, we took them at their word and sold it to them. They proceeded to list it for sale on their lot the next afternoon at a price that was well over double the price they paid me and also more than $2000 above my original *** instant cash offer price. When I contacted the dealership they stated that the car had "accidently" been listed for retail sale, but that morning they had realized it and had corrected it and sent it for auction. However, the photos of the car posted on their website clearly show the car was on their lot, with a window sticker, and the time that the photos were taken was nearly 2 PM even though they supposedly realized their mistake and corrected it that morning and sent it to auction!

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. They don't even deserve a 1. This place has horrible customer service. You'll go in for an oil change and then pick up your car with something else wrong mechanically that wasn't an issue before. They don't make things right when they mess up. The will disrespect you, laugh in your face and curse you out. Avoid this place at all costs!

OMG - worst ever. Didnt negotiate fairly and then when I did NOT buy from them they listed my trade as an auto for sale that they did not have!!! In May. Now Im getting SiriusXM requests to turn on their service for a vehicle I did NOT buy!! What a ridiculous issue. They sold my info with no right to do so!!!!!!!!

I would rate zero stars. Napleton Northlake CDJR posted a used 2012 Mini Countryman: VIN:*****************, listed for $8,450.00 on carfax and truecar. I have a truecar certificate stating that I would pay $8,450. ***********************, the sales rep assigned to me, said he will not honor that price. He claimed it was a misprint by both carfax and truecar. I spoke with ***** who advised he was a general manager. **** also confirmed that they would not honor the advertised price of $8,450, that they are in fact charging $4.000 more than the truecar certificate price of $8,450. **** tried to tell me he did not know where carfax and truecar got their information! I found that difficult to believe that two unrelated advertising companies would have the same listed price of $8,450!I read the BBB report and say that the *** settled a lawsuit in the amount of 10 million dollars for advertising issues, unlawful addons, and discrimination, in April of 2022.I spoke with truecar and they said that the dealership has a contract that there are supposed to honor the price that the dealership advertises it for and will launch an investigation as this is considered bait and switch advertising in price.I hope that the government can stop this organization from illegal and unethical consumer treatment.
