      Horribly dissappointing experience. I was using Discover card for years and recently had some fraudulent charges that I tried disputing with Discover. I was plainly missinformed by their employees about the steps I should take. This misinformation provided by Discover employees led to my credit score being demolished after years of keeping perfect payment track. They offered an apology and nothing else...

      Discover tells you they are covering all transactions you do not authorize, but when you are scammed online, or when you authorize for a company to hold for incidentals, and then the company charges you for damage that was already done to the car, they side with the other company to get your money. They said that it was resolved 3 weeks ago via email amongst other notifications, then today come back with, after 3 months of review, "the merchant has given a signature where you authorized to pay for any damages" but refused to understand the bigger picture. They do not understand that the bigger company is trying to avoid having to pay the expense of what they promised. In my circumstance, I had ****** that was a rental due to them replacing the liner of my new 2023 truck; I still have no liner because the company they used flaked in multiple spots the 4 times they tried to have it replaced, and then made it to where the bed liner was rejected from our car, and they had to take the rental back due to the car having a bubble in it and me realizing after already being home 2 hours away. So here I was with no car having to Uber/Lyft or walk everywhere. When getting the car it was raining at the initial time of looking the car over, the dealer did not even come out to look at it with us rather looked from the door until the very end and did not even look it over just said to make sure to return it full or be charged $12 a gallon, which we almost returned full but had a bubbled tire so called for them to come pick it up, where that dealership send 2 workers in a car for one of them to drive it back! Now I have to spend hours dealing with the representative at discover because, the ****** charge would be removed a long with interest and fees and there was nothing more to it. My first dispute in 5 years of having this card. First message was only $13 so I didn't care to make a full dispute out of it because I authorized the scam, this dispute it's more and they did nothing.

      On 4-15-2024, a purchase of $112.09 from X** Winery was unknowingly charged to my Discover Card. It was for an automatic quarterly wine shipment. I believed that purchase had been debited from my Bank account. I was unaware that it had been charged to Discover Card because I receive paperless billing. On 6-20-2024, I received a notice from Transunion and Experian credit bureaus that there was a late payment reported from Discover Card. I immediately paid the full amount of the purchase, interest, and late fees. My payment history with Discover and all my other creditors has been impeccable over the last 7 years as you can see from my credit report. This is very damaging for my future credit. I contacted Discover Card, but they said that there was nothing they could do since they had reported the late payment correctly. I have disputed the charges with the credit bureaus but Discover still will not remove the negative comments from my credit file, claiming they are accurate. Discover Card seems to be deliberately trying to destroy my "what used to be very good credit".

      I paid off my card in full, and Discover proceeded to charge me interest for a paid off card. They said it was from my previous balance but that was never disclosed as anything pending when I paid it off. They then charged me a late fee. I called and talked to multiple supervisors all of which would only waive the late fee. None would waive the measly $32 for not disclosing there was interest pending Im sorry but ****************** have amazing customer service and have helped with issues like this in the past with zero problems. Discover is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. The supervisor was rude. Ill never use Discover again.

      I called multiple times to tell discover that there was a company who falsely advertised themselves and have not provided the services that they said that they would. This company has had multiple class action lawsuits against them. They have Had multiple complaints against them and have even made it to the news with customers complaining about the same deceitful acts that I have encountered with the company. I have made multiple phone calls to My discover credit card company. Asked me to provide them with further information which I did. Provided me with a website that I went to and uploaded all the documents that was asked of me. Even the news reports that I found online regarding the deceitful acts of this specific company, called it's just lunch. I've made multiple phone calls only to get no concrete answer. **** just now and the line got disconnected. The agent hasn't even tried to call me back. Still once again I'm still in limbo. I Requested that I'd be credited this money back as these credit card companies are supposed to be protecting us from deceitful consumers. And I even noticed When the purchase went through there was no type of stop or block or any kind of safeguard offered before the purchase was made. I didn't receive a text that question whether I wanted to make this purchase. Thing like that. Months and all I want is my money back as a company like discover should have had more protection over purchases like this.

      I have been a discover card member for many years. I went through two back to back hard times. They worked with me to keep my card active and did not take advantage of me. I was able to pay the balance and keep my payments up only because they were patient and set a low fixed payment option for me. Another bank did not and ended up in collections. I hope you guys never change! Keep up the great work!

      I opened up an account this this bank back on June 21,2024 and I went to used mobile checking and of course they set a limit of the amount of the check. My limit was set at $500.00 , the check I went to deposit using mobile deposit was for $300.00 . After I went to a temp to deposit it into my account it didn't work . So I was told to mail the check to there PO BOX address. So it went out that day and it's so funny that they said it takes up to 14 days till maybe my check would get to them 25 days later and they claim my check never showed up yet . I would believe by now that it would be there there by now. And phone calls and emails to them haven't worked. And by the way this company Discover bank is owned by ******* who should be investigated too

      yes, very bad served, then have been many mistakes with my accounts and event charged a fee for their mistake. Really difficult form the to resolve, the card is not the safest anyone can charge in your account the dispute department is the worst... I think this is the next bank is going to fail. *** talk about CD I open a CD with them, to give back the money they were giving weird history to schedule to deposit the money back to my account

      This "Bank" has a policy of delaying i.e., posting payments, for up to 2 business days if you pay online (Weekends/holidays are not business days so if you send your online payment on on a Saturday it may not post until Tuesday). The reason for this appers to be that they can charge you an additional $30 for a "late fee" if your payment is not made on it's due date. After speaking with Discover, to question the "late fee(s)" that I have been charged with several times, I was told that if I wanted a payment to post, on the day that I made it, I would have to call them and talk with a rep to make the payment even if I'm making to payment a day in advance. Otherwise, I could be charged the "late fee". Warning, if you have an account with ********************** make your payment at least 5 days in advance of the payment due date!!!!
