We have missed the following dates of trash pickup: May 16, June 6, June 13, June 20. The pick *** between those dates, were picked up late. Many of my rural neighbors are having the same problem. To top it off-everyone is having to pick up from the raccoons getting into it every night! You have to leave your trash out all the time in hopes they may show up.We have called multiple times to multiple locations (phone numbers), we have submitted several missed pick***, with the assurance that they will call or e-mail us back and that our business is important to them. I fail to see how that is true, when we have not spoken to 1 call back person. We have managed to catch a person on the phone 2 times and were assured our trash would be picked up the following Tuesday at the latest after our Friday pick up day was missed. This is very ***************** our local Chamber of Commerce put a note on their ******** page to contact the BBB if having trouble with LRS picking up trash. This should show the BBB and LRS how poor of a job they are doing.I want paid for each pick up we have missed before tomorrow's pick up (4), which I'm sure we will miss again, and for each pick up we miss while LRS is having whatever issues they are having. I would also like to be compensated for the time my family has had to pick up messes due to *** not fulfilling their obligation to me as a customer. Also, I would like a call from a management member to explain to me how and why they are having such issues, communication goes a long way with frustrated customers, I know, I'm a business owner.Also, they advertise they have a BBB rating of A+. I believe that is false advertising, which should be followed up on also or BBB should lower that rating.Initial Complaint

On 6/7/25, I emailed ******** **** about our May invoice having rate increases to our account that should be refunded and not authorizing automatic withdrawal of funds from our bank account for the total invoice. I did not hear back from her, and the funds were withdrawn. *** does not allow customers to choose when their bills are paid or whether to pay a partial amount if there is a dispute as they automatically withdraw amounts from customer accounts. This request was based on email communication with *** ******** on 7/26/24 where she clearly indicated that any rate increases prior to December 2025 would be rolled back after increasing rates in mid-2024 ahead of the annual schedule of rate increases in December each year.After additional email to ******** on 6/10, I was referred to **** **** who discussed matters with me on the phone. He assured me that a partial refund was being processed for the next invoice and would look into my concerns. I received an email from him on 6/24 indicating that our account rates are not locked in and that the rate increase would remain. I am disappointed in how *** conducts their business. It is not honest, and they are not consistent. I have battled LRS inappropriate billing over a half-dozen times by now, and I do not feel that we are fairly treated. I have tried to include supervisors in communication when concerned about poor customer service, and the supervisors rarely respond or reach out.Initial Complaint

*** has owed me money for months. They are impossible to get a hold of. Ive tried several times and left messages and no one has returned my call. Service was cancelled in January 2025. I had a refund due. Told it would take ***** days. I have never received the refund. After such a long period of time and no response I have nothing left to do but file a complaint.Initial Complaint

I have been a loyal customer for several years. I have since moved and no longer need garbage service. I have been contacting the company for two weeks to close my account and have received no return phone calls but canned automatic emails which when I reply seem to go nowhere. I am normally a reasonable person but I am getting increasingly frustrated with the lack of response and customer service they are providing. They have no emailed advising I have to pay $30 per can to close my account and to contact the number I have been repeatedly calling to process my request. I am seeking assistance with getting in touch with a representative from the company to finalize this once and for all.Initial Complaint

The company name changed to ***. Payment is made to the company on a monthly basis in return for trash pickup that is supposed to be weekly. If you try to reach someone at the number to find out about trash, it just rings and rings. Trash pickup is supposed to be Every Friday, unless a holiday week- then it is Saturday.Initial Complaint

We have issue getting the service from this company. *** has exclusively contract with the city of ********. There is no other waste and recycling company can provide service in our area. They are abused this contract. We have requested multiple times to have the service at our location. I have been on the phone for more than 60 minutes today (6/6/2025) with 4 different LRS employees. Two hung up in the middle of the phone call. The other two employees just transferred and put it on hold. No one has responded. On January 28, 2025, I contacted the *** office in *********, ** to cancel my service after February 2025. I was told that they could not help me with that, but my representative ******* could. They gave me her number, I left a voicemail, and I did not receive a callback.On February 10, 2025, I called they office again. I was again told the office could not assist me directly and was given the voicemail of who they said was the general manager. I left a message stating that I wished to cancel service effective February 28, 2025. Again, no response.On February 28, 2025, I called once more to confirm my cancellation. I was again directed to the general managers voicemail. I reiterated that it was my last day of service. No one ever responded.On March 6 and April 9, 2025, I called to report that the dumpsters were still on my property and needed to be picked up. No one responded.On April 14, 2025, I received a bill for Marcheven though I had canceled and no service had been provided. I called to dispute it, and later that day I received a call back from an employee named Jadenn, who informed me that I was in a 60-month contract signed December 16, 2022.I am the 100% owner of the businessoriginally founded by my grandfather over 60 years agoand I was alarmed to learn I was under a contract I had never seen. I requested a copy, which revealed the contract was signed by an unauthorized employee and sent to my retired father's personal email, which he rarely checks. The contract was also signed by an *** employee named **** *****, who Ive never met or communicated with.On April 15, 2025, I called ****** and informed her the signature was unauthorized. We agreed to follow up the next week to discuss resolution.On May 2, 2025, I followed up again. She told me she would speak to her manager and get back to me the next day. As of June 6, 2025, I have not received any response, and the dumpsters remain on my property. I have also received another bill.Business Response

Pay a monthly service to have trash picked 5 times since Jan 1st 2025 it has been missed have called n emailed spoke to several supervisors nothing was told I will get a return ************* again nothing call again n get put on hold for over 30mins then get disconnected have asked what my schedule day for pick up is get told Wednesday or Thursday or Friday never can get a straight answer have had 2 weeks of trash stacked around the can was told driver will pick it up guess what they dumped the can n left the bags now which were damaged from sitting there so now have trash all down the highwayBusiness Response

I paid for a dumpster in Nov 2024. I was billed again for the dumpster and I called in Dec and was told it was an error and not to worry about it. I have called every month since when I continue to get a bill and when I called in March I talked to a different person who told me there were notes on my account but they were worded wrong and it would be taken care of. I asked for a supervisor to call me and that never happened. I called again in May and asked for a supervisor. They gave me an email and that person responded that they forwarded the info to billing and they would contact me. No response yet. I messaged corporate office from their website and was sent a response that I would be contacted soon- again, no response. I am concerned about being turned into collections for something I dont owe and I feel that this is way too long a process to be confident that this company is competent with communicating between departments.Business Response

Lakeshore did not pick up my garbage last Thursday, the assigned pick up date. I called 5 times on Friday and was on hold for approximately 2 hours. When I finally reached customer service the representative said that they will "probably send someone out either Friday or Monday to pick up the garbage." I asked for a supervisor and was told that they would return my call. I received no return call. No one picked up the garbage on Friday so I called back on Monday and another representative said that they would pick it up that day by 6 p.m. That never happened. I spoke with **** **** at their corporate headquarters today, May 20th and she said that they will pick the garbage up today around 4 p.m. My bill was paid in full for the next 3 months on 4-17-25 so I don't owe them money. My garbage was located in the correct spot (top of driveway on grassy area since we have no curbs on this private lane) for pick up and was placed in that area early of the morning of pick up (by 6 a.m.) so there is no reason for them not picking it up on Thursday. I have reached out to the township of ************* and the village of ************* to try and get them to help wit this and both parties say it is not in their domain. I've wasted a lot of time and effort trying to get my weekly garbage picked up. This company is unreliable and doesn't honor their committments to their customers.Customer Answer
