      I got told it was going to be only one time payment I asked the sales person several times over the phone just making sure that it was just one time payment he said 100 percent only one time payment I paid and now they charged my card once again after a month

      I recieved a notice in the mail saying my warranty is up in **** on 02/01/2024. Asking for my vin number and saying im liable for any damages or repairs. This is a lie as my warrant isnt up til **** i bought a new car 1 month ago and there demanding me to contact them by febuary 9. WHich is less the a 30 day notice which is required by ****** ********.

      Was fooled into thinking that the warranty I had purchased for my car that I bought through Enterprise car sales had to be paid to sky auto protection. This was done through the mail, with a letter having all the details of the purchased car along with the exact warranty that I had purchased. When I reached out to Enterprise, they told me they do not have any affiliation with this company and that my warranty was already being paid for through Ally auto. I had already made two payments of ****** to Sky **** and would like to get my money back because I was scammed and lied to on the phone multiple times. When i first got the mail from sky auto I called and asked if they were affiliated with Enterprise, and they lied and said that they were.

      I received a mailer asking me to activate my vehicle service agreement. I have no such relations with Sky Protection and have never asked them to assist me with my vehicle.This mailer suggests I am doing something wrong and I have a previous relationship with them and that I need to activate coverage. This mailer is deceptive and they want me to be insured by their company but the mailer is not being upfront about this and is deceptive of their motives.I would be interested in you contacting them and letting them know to not contact me or mail me any letters as I won't do business with a company that is shady and deceptive like this. The act of sending such a letter is losing them business. I would suggest to them to stop doing this to all people as this is a way to shut out potential business. It seems like this is made for people who will fall for scams and cons. ******

      I want to report false and deceptive marketing techniques and practices. This borders on fraud. Today, 1/11/2024 I received a letter via ***** The letter was from a company based out of ******** called Sky Protection. The first sentence of their letter states:Attention: ________,Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to activate a vehicle service agreement for your vehicleThis is deceptive and fraudulent for a few reasons. First and foremost being that I have never contacted this company, nor was this company involved in my vehicle service agreement that I purchased through a different company altogether. Second they make it seem as if I had purchased a service agreement but due to oversight on my part I must have forgotten to call to activate it. This is a similar type of scam that is run on the elderly or disadvantaged. Also, they make it sound as if I did have prior contact by claiming that their records indicate making it seem as if they have an open file on me that is incomplete because I did not contact them. Further in the letter their tactic changes to making threats. Threats that state, By neglecting to activate extended vehicle protection, you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs once your factory warranty expires.If this company knew anything about me they would know I already have an extended warranty on my vehicle. This is predatory marketing and is illegal in the state that I reside. I will follow up with a complaint to my state AG and if I receive any further correspondence from this company I will seek legal advice

      This company knows it is violating the law by using false and deceptive trade practices. Their response is typical of a business trying to hide responsibility for their actions. I will see them in court, they can have discovery at that time. I have made a demand that they remove me from their list, they refuse by providing excuses and I dont have to play these games.       I was contacted through the mail about my extended car warranty. I believed this was the extended warranty I purchased at the dealership. After discussing those details over the phone and was convinced that it was. I signed up to pay monthly fees of $237.01 starting 09/07/2023. I was charged a total of $1,185.05. Once I realized that this was in fact a separate warranty and I had been mislead I called to cancel on 01/08/2024. The employee over the phone proceeded to yell at me and fight me verbally to not cancel. After a phone battle I was assured it was cancelled. I then was charged after the conversation another $237.01. I am looking to report this business and recieve compensation for my losses if possible. Thank you for your time.

      I received a letter from Sky Protection for car insurance. All they needed was my VIN number. It was obviously a scam. I want others to be aware so they don't buy into anything from Sky Protection.

      I received a letter from *********** begining of December 2023. It had all the information about my car I purchased in September 2023. My wife called them to find out what it was about and was told that she would have to pay an activation fee for the extended car warranty. Unknowingly she gave her debit card information and soon after the "activation" fee was charged to the card.However, we already had a dealer warranty and didn't need another one. Furthermore, I never received any contract to be signed. Unfortunately a phonecall to clarify the situation didn't succeed, and there are no mailing or emailing details available. I'm willing to take legal action against this obvious fraud/scam. So far there has been two deductions from our bank account/debit card.I demand a cancellation of the "contract" I never signed, and a full refund of the two months fees.

      10/1/2023 I have paid this business $620.31 up to current date The business offered to activate a a mechanical insurance without the explanation that it is a Monthly warranty payment. I was not looking to be in a warranty as i have already dealt with the hassle of companies prior and discussed prior accounts when i was called. When i called SKY **** i was looking for clarification and i mislead by a representative for not fully explaining the point of the transaction. I was told it would be a one time transaction and was misinformed as they took money from my billing account monthly after. I was unaware of these transactions and disapprove of the purchase as i did not want to acquire a monthly warranty or have any monthly plan. I have been able to cancel my account but temporarily my banking account under SKY **** has been investigated. My phone calls was recorded for company policy and should be reviewed for further evidence.

      In Mid-December, Sky **** sent me a physical mail, indicating that I had to activate a warranty service contract for my newly purchased vehicle (with correct VIN number). I assumed it would be the warranty service contract that I agreed to at the Dealership because they had all of my information. However, Sky **** convinced me to send them $199.00 as an activation fee, stating that it would be a one-time fee, which I thought was reasonable. However, the paperwork they sent indicated that the charge would repeat for 18 months, which I did not agree too. Additionally, my warranty service contract that I actually wanted to purchase did not need to be activated and was not Sky ****. Sky Auto Protection is a fraudulent and predatory business that preys on those confused by the struggle of financing/purchasing new cars. It was not an accident that they did not include their business name on the mail they sent, and I am very offended by the nature in which they carry out their business. I would like a full refund of my $199.00 and for them to stop doing this to consumers like me.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      While some of the information they included in their response may have been correct, there is an abundance of similar claims to mine from concerned consumers.

      This company, at face value, is crooked, fraudulent, and predatory to new car buyers. For example, since I had bought/financed the service contract already, I thought the $199 charge was a $1.99 activation charge which makes much more sense for an activation charge than $199.00. Sky **** failed to disclose this discrepancy, for their benefit.

      Additionally, I do not believe their business practices align with the law. Nowhere on the physical mail does it say that this plan is unrelated to any service contracts I may have bought or that it was not sent by the dealership. Their physical mail (hard to be traced and proved later) is a scheme for theft by deception and by its nature should be investigated.

      Although I did receive a full refund, I am uncomfortable with Sky **** possessing my personal information and financial information, as they have proven to be untrustworthy and not at all transparent. 

      I would like to keep my complaint open for the above justifications.
