Someone stole my credit card information and used it to make around $18000 in purchases with IAA. I called IAA to try and find out the details of the purchases and have them shut down the account, but after over 20-minutes on hold, the IAA representative could give me no resolution, would not provide details on the sale that would assist in investigation, and would not provide details on the account created by the person who criminally used my credit card to make unapproved purchases. Not helpful.IAA

Good Morning, ******************, Thank you for submitting your claims. After further review, we see the communication you had with our team. Since you are not a buyer, we are not able to provide the information, but we advised you that all charges must be disputed through your credit card company.Your credit card company will then proceed to contact IAA. We have to followed this protocol for the safety of our buyer's information. If you have any other general questions, please feel free to call ************. Sincerely,Darren W

Come on guys. "Since you are not a buyer"? My credit card was used to make a purchase from your firm under my name to make whatever purchases were made...for all intents and purposes, I AM the buyer. I just wish you were as cautious with accepting payments as you are about protecting "the safety of our buyer's information". Charges were disputed through my financial institution. Police will be in contact with you (investigation has been opened). As you drag your feet, the investigation gets harder to resolve, which only works to your financial benefit. Your conduct may not be unlawful, but it is unethical.Review fromBrittany R

BEWARE OF THIS LOT THEY ARE THIEVES!! Someone decided to stead multiple items along with a very sentimental item from my car which was a ******* charm bracelet with my grandmother's ashes in it. I called multiple times talking to 2 or 3 different employees who were very careless. I was finally able to get ahold of the manager ******* who was very careless about my grandmother's missing ashes and bracelet. I was told because I was upset and because i didnt see that it was missing before i left the lot, I couldn't be helped. Please check all you items throughly because they will steal anything out of your vehicle.IAA

Good Morning **************, Thank you for reaching out to us and submitting your claim. I did review the stocks under the stock and saw what was found inside the vehicle. We have sent you an email with the list of items found when your vehicle was check-in. Nothing else was located at that time. Unfortunately, you will need to communicate this with Title *** as the vehicle was collected as a Repossession, and only those few items were listed. If you still have questions, Title Max can call at ************ at ************** and copies of paperwork can be given to them.Review fromKim E

I was hit by a driver who ran a stop light and has State Farm insurance. ********** took responsibility for the claim, had my car towed to IAAI. When I went to get my belonging, there was one box with a few items and everything else was missing. I reported to IAAI and the State Farm employee I have been working with. IAAI has stated that when the car came in it was completely empty and provided pictures with it cleaned out that were dated the date that the vehicle came in to them. I know this was not true because 3 days after it was brought to IAAI, I went to IAAI to get my belongings out of the car. When I got there they had an employee go with me and watch what I removed from the car. When I opened the front door, there was a box with a few of my items in it and my licenses plate. I removed those and asked about the rest of my belongings. (The IAAI employee and I would be on their video) The employee didnt know, but since we were unable to get into the back space due to not being able to open the trunk, we thought the items were back there. The next week when I called back to get a time to come when the back hatch could be opened, I was told that there were no more items and there was nothing they could do as the car came in empty using their photos as proof. If the car came in totally stripped like IAAI claimed with their pictures, then why 3 days later was there a box with some of my belongings? Where was that in their pictures? Their staff has been less than helpful.IAA

Good Afternoon ************************, Thank you for submitting your claim to *************** After further review, we have concluded that a third party towed the vehicle to IAA. The vehicle was received with only the information that the branch logged. You will need to contact your insurance company to submit a further claim against the third party who took your vehicle. All claims would have to be submitted through them (Insurance Company).Thank you,Review fromKent M

I am a delivery driver and was involved.hit by an IAA employee (to which they admitted fault as was documented on the police report). It caused a great deal of damage to my business vehicle making it impossible for me to work. THIS WAS ONE MONTH AGO. The local branch manager (******) has been giving me the run around ever since. Each day that passes, my business is bleeding due to my inability to work. I have *** tirelessly attempting to have IAA respond so that they can just have my work truck fixed and I can get back to work. As a small business owner this is VITAL for the survival of my business. It is reprehensible to see that IAA is to taking action to rectify this issue and instead is trying to "wait me out". BEWARE WHEN UNDERTAKING ANY BUSINESS DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT A COMPANY WHO IS UPSTANDING FOR ANY ASPECT OF A SITUATION THAT MAY OCCUR AT ONE OF THEIR FACILITIES. Now legal action and litigation is force due to their refusal to communicate!IAA

IAA sells vehicles for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company Insurance, ****************************************************************************** with an Arkansas Clear Title when they know that if you take the car outside of ******** the car will be titled as a Salvage or Rebuilt. IAA add an entry into the NMVTIS data base that the car is a "Total Loss" that requires almost all other states to title the car as "Rebuilt or Salvaged." They do this because they know a "Clear Title" on a car makes it more valuable when being auctioned at IAA. This is a very deceptive and fraudulent practice that should be stopped immediately!IAA

Bought 4 bikes from them....was expecting some repairs but they are pretty much pooched... also the biggest issue i had over this sale is they advertised the ****** dirt bike yz250 as a 2022...an it turns out it's a 2005 ...all they had to do was run serial number on engine.....they demand payment within a day....wonder why cause if ya waited to pay ...till ya saw what you were buying you would not buy....like i only went up that high because it was advertised as a 2022...wtf.....scam artists helping other scam artists....thats my take its sad that they can get away with legally with some wording in there one sided contract....never againIAA

Missoula IAA worst ever. I paid IAA for a vehicle I had won on their auction, I requested transport, in which they assigned. IAA placed my vehicle outside the fenced area after they closed my vehicle was stolen, they didn't notify me that my vehicle was stolen I had to search what happened and way it wasn't delivered as promised now they are refusing to refund my money.IAA

Hello **************, Thank you for submitting your comment. Based on the information, we located a communication chain where the branch investigated the situation. As you know, the vehicle was left outside the yard per the instructions of the carrier, who will arrive after the hours of the branch closing. It also looks like they are still reviewing the situation. We have also received communication that you did a PayPal dispute on the vehicle's payment and it was refunded before the investigation was completed. There is nothing IAA can do now for you, as you have contestant the charge.Review fromEric Z

The worse customer service ever. Do not, DO NOT go to this branch. They wouldnt accept a cashiers check from a credited bank. I had my ID and an account. They have the worst customer service ever. The teller literally ROLLED her eyes at me. Ive never felt so disrespected by someone. I had a cashiers check for ****** from my bank branch and they wouldnt accept it because it said memo. The bank could not take that out of the cashiers check. Someone like her does not deserve to work serving people, she should be ashamed of herself for rolling her eyes at someone!!! Terrible service. It was the teller that was completely to the left when you walk in. Never ever going to this branch again with the amount of money I was going to give them. They should be embarrassed!IAA
