The vehicle I purchased was a 2006 ****** Camry Stock. The vehicle listing was done very poorly. Most of the damage to the vehicle was undercarriage. The transmission had a hole in it, subframe is bent, the exhaust is dented everywhere and gas tank is also damaged. I have attached photos to showcase all of the damage that was not shown in any of the images on the listing.Additionally, the listing stated that the vehicle Runs and Drives, however the vehicle only turns on. It does not move at all - most likely due to the transmission being damaged at the bottom. All this could have been avoided if they took correct pictures and claimed there was undercarriage damage. The undercarriage was obvious but they tried hiding it with certain angles from the pictures listed on the listing.I reached out to corporate, and the Phx yard but no help at all. No kind of refund, or have the vehicle ran in the auction without a fee, or any credit.I recommend staying away from this auction from my personal experience.

This place has excessive fees..they even charge you for paying for what you purchase. It's a total scam and something should be done about this. They are going to continue to raise these unnecessary fees as long as we keep quiet.

IAA fees are not reasonable with their fees. what is internet fee, environmental fee and the rest. Should the buyers be paying for your business operations? They keep increasing the Internet fees like the buyers should be paying for their web hosting and server. It is ridiculous. IAA should justify the reason why each buyer should be paying $99 for Internet fees and $15 for the environmental fees.

Hello, When registering with IAA, all buyers have the ability to read and access all our buyer fees prior to registering. Our policy reads:Fees - A Buyer Fee will be charged for each vehicle sold. Other fees *** also apply. Fees *** vary by Facility. It is the sole responsibility of Buyer to verify fees charged by any IAA Facility prior to incurring such charges. All fees are subject to change and Buyer shall confirm the applicable fee before incurring such charges.Vehicle Loading - A service fee applies. Buyer understands that the loading process is fraught with danger to person or property because it involves lifting a vehicle with forklifts and placing the vehicle on a transporter.Online Bidding Fee - An Online Bidding Fee will be added to the total purchase price for each vehicle purchased via the System from a live auction Facility in addition to other fees that *** apply.Buyers can opt for the policy, and a registration fee refund can be issued if the buyer has not purchased anything with IAA. ************** Purposely hide damage and take misleading photos vehicle claims not to be mechanics. You dont have to be a mechanic to see body damage in rusted out frames. Its a complete joke. This company is full of liars and cheats. Somehow they are worse than copart. However they achieve that..

Thank you for your review, I understand how you could feel this way if you didn't fully read and understand the auction rules. These vehicles are salvaged vehicles and are listed as what we were informed by the provider. We are not mechanics, these vehicles are auctioned off "As Is". Here are the IAAI auction rules to help you better understand the auctions. Also, buyers have the option to hire an inspector and see the vehicle before the auction. 1. We are Exotic Motors **************** we bought a vehicle at IAAI 443 Dallas/Ft ***** the stock number is ******** The vehicle is supposedly run and drive and in the photos for sale it showed the key but when we went to pick up the vehicle, they did not have the key even though it said on the windshield that it was in the office. The person in charge didn't even want to look for her, he just told us that they weren't responsible. We do not recommend that anyone in this business buy cars at this auction.

I felt blindsided when my car was listed on the site pending auction. I was told it was going in for an estimate and I would have the choice to retain my vehicle. IAA treated me and my family like we were doing something wrong retaining my vehicle. Progressive insurance, literally gave you my vehicle. No authority to do so. When I came to get it I was so upset with your process and rules I was almost ready to call the police. I wish IAA would treat people better. Its not that hard. The condition of my vehicle, the way it was handled, and the way IAA does business is shady at best. I hope everyone who has a totaled vehicle knows the process and rules. Maybe IAA could be more transparent? Your forklift driver could use his words and not bring us the wrong vehicle, laugh at us, and his overall condescending attitude could have been left at the door. Just shows the character of your business. I do hope the BBB is listening. ************ location.

Thank you for your review, I'm sorry to hear that you were not treated and or explained what was happening with your vehicle. When we get a vehicle from our providers we have to follow the agreement that was made with them on how and what they want these vehicles done with. Any matters that would involve you trying to get the vehicle back would have had to go through Progressive Insurance and then notify us of any change. As far as the unprofessional behavior and or attitude you stated you received I apologize that you received that. we should always be professional, and have some empathy and understanding of what someone is or has gone through. Being a buyer in the Salvage industry, and one that buys 1000s of cars a year I have to say Iaa is the worst of all the Salvage pools and auctions to deal with. Every company has policies as do ******** understand that but Policies that they implement our times ridiculous and not worth the aggravation to deal with. Thought maybe with ***************************** buying them things might be different, but they may have gotten worse and it's not on the buyers end but sellers in general including insurance company are jumping ship to copart. I guess they don't care

Thank you for your review, I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the current policies in place here at IAA. The policies are put into place to assist our buyers with the best possible experiences when doing business with us, along with also protecting our company with these salvaged car transactions. Both companies you spoke of have customers jumping back and forth among each other and that does not make either company worse than the other. We at IAA looked at the increased costs to do business over the last several months we have needed to make these changes in order to continue to support the seamless auction process you have come to expect from us. We are sorry to hear these policies have caused an issue. Please know that even with these changes, we are able to continue to efficiently process vehicles and maintain environmentally compliant operations.Thank you ****

I had my car taken to IAAI in ******* after I wrecked it and everyone was aware that I was buying the car back. I had a dash camera left in the car in the cup holder and it was stolen by IAAI employees. They steal your belongings out of your car before it is even out of your own name and sent to auction.
