      We purchased a 2022 XLR Boost 37TXS13 on 1/20/22 VIN ***************** When we arrived the dealership was fixing a bad water pump. We used the unit 2 days later and thats when a laundry list of thing would go wrong and still have continued till this day on 4/18/23. First day we brought it home we noticed a hole in the roof and the whole roof was completely green from algae and this is supposed to be a brand new unit? So back to our first time using it on our way to our destination all 100gals of water leaked in the under belly and ripped it out. The heat wasnt working, the jacks were blowing fuses, we had no water, we had water coming out of the ramp door as well as the fifth wheel hitch, slide outs not working right and leaking. Thats when we also were noticing how horrible the finish work was. We had a 3 page work order after our first trip. We took it to the dealer multiple times with no resolution. Then the bigger problems started happening, we had a sewage leaking from under the unit, then we had tires shearing the bolts off while driving 60mph on the highway this happened to 3 different ************** this was a very scary situation for our family as well as the guest we had with us. All due to improper installation of all 3 axles on a 41ft unit This has been a nightmare but wait hold on it continues I contacted Forest River. So after talking with them we agreed to let them fix it even though we werent happy about it but we thought we would give them a chance, after about 5 months of it being gone we got it back. The the ramp door is completely rotten, still holding water to this day and they sent it back to us like that. Then we had an electrical fire & not to mention the jacks aren't working again. We want this made right we were told if we aren't happy repurchasing the unit was an option! So stand behind your product and take it back this is your problem not ours we work to hard for our money just to throw it away. More picture and videos.

      Once again everything we have gone through and still are going through now going on 15 months now 9 of those our unit was either being fixed or sitting waiting to be fixed in operable and we are still being disregarded where is this companys integrity?!?!? Forest River chose to push product out and QC was just not there and now the consumers are taking the s*** end of the stick which is wrong in so many ways. I will make sure I share my familys story about our experience with buying a Forest River product. I will be sharing all my pictures, the improper install of our triple axles, our videos of sewage coming out of the bottom of the unit, water flowing out of the garage door and front cap, the fire, and the rest of the 30+ issues this POS has had or still has! My family spent hours stranded on the side of road. Missed motocross races or having to stay in a hotel while still making payments on something we couldnt use. If we werent told about Forest River repurchasing our unit back after we gave you a chance to correct all issues (which you did not) then how would we have know about it then? Its not are fault your employees are promising things to customers and then you chose not to hold to what was promised. 


      And to answer your question **** yes we have made an appt but this doesnt resolve the issue.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      I have been in contact with management previous to filing this complaint and once again FR keeps disregarding how serious this 16 month long nightmare that me and family have been in. So I am not sure how thats a resolution to this on going problem. Obviously just fixing this hunk of junk isnt one either as you all had it for about 5 months sent it back to us with still major problems. We have only been able to use it for maybe 6 months out of the 16, how fair is that? We are still paying payments and insurance just for it to sit. I am done with this unit and we have been since the axle issue. Its just never ending and we should be enjoying life not dealing with this unnecessary BS!

      Well this is comical we have email documentation that shows that weve been working with camping world trying to get these issues repaired. They have no room at their lot for our unit just to stay there waiting on you guys to send parts. As soon as the parts arrive then **** the service manager is going to contact us so we can bring in our unit so unless you have proof dont make remarks like that. ****** was just there yesterday getting an update on the status for the parts that we have been waiting on now for 3 months so sounds like you all need to get your act together and quit placing blame on others and own up to your mistakes! Because clearly you have made many which shows with our 41 issues on our work order when the unit was sent to your plant to be fixed and since we have received it back we have existing new issues!

      So this is just getting ridiculous you guys keep dancing around going in circles about the matter. You all know who we are working with, ***************** with consumer affairs has directly emailed ******************* so I am not understanding where there is confusion. Also in previous responses through the BBB you said **** would be looking into whats going on with parts so quit dragging this out and make it RIGHT!!! This is the place that weve had our camper axles fixed by etc.  ***************************** has also been working with them to resolve these issues but you guys keep dancing around the major issue which is us not being happy with this camper and the so called FIXES Forest River did when you had our unit for 5 months, then sent it to us still with issues. Its been nothing but problems and continues to be now almost 17 months into owning this piece of s*** So make it right so we can all move on, this is really getting old.

      We have an appointment at camping world in ********** ** on Friday June 16th at 1pm. But this doesnt resolve the fact we have had to deal with so many issues with this unit, the time we havent been able to use it as well as the trauma it has caused our family with the axle issues etc. Through all this we had to pay for hotels for our trips, still make the payments, and pay the insurance on something we have barely been able to use.       WE BOUGHT A FOREST RIVER WILDWOOD HERITAGE GLEN TRAVEL TRAILER FROM ******* RV IN DOVER FLORIDA ON FEBUARY 2, 2023. WE SPENT THEIR ALL DAY AT THE LOCATION FOR THEM TO DO THEIR INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE.       We purchased our new 2022 VIBE 26RK on 11/01/2022. We returned the travel trailer to the dealer to repair a number of warranty issues 3 seperate times with repeat issues. The service was not completed correctly. We still have same issues issues now. The ***** voyage 01-02-2023 we made it approximately **** miles to discover the axels had started twisting up and loosing parts (a serious hazzard issue). Contacted Forestriver as to the issue. All is covered in the warranty. this took 2 weeks off our trip. New axles were sent out. A mobile repair service was contacted and the repair was completed. The installer informed us "the axels and wiring were not installed correctly causing ******** issue and burning up the wiring and the wiring on our truck. We were reimbursed for the ordeal. Our refrigerator had to be replaced it took 3 times in for service and approx. $200.00 loss of food to get it replaced. 02-12-2023 Another repair service came to replace the fridge and repair prior and new warranty issues. The new service tech was messy and did not complete all issues. I did not want that person back in my home. We have stayed incontact via email and phone with Forestriver representatives. We had informed the representative "We are requesting a sum of money back to complete all issues correctly and completely ourselves" The numerous issues have been documented, photographed and emailed to (2) Forestriver representatives. No one will respond to any request any more. This travel trailer has so many defects it is a lemon and should be replaced. We just want money back to complete repairs ourselves and be done with this. No warranty is worth this trouble. We canceled our 5 year extended warranty due to the craftsmanship and service of warranty covered issues.

      My Wife and I purchased a Forest River XLR Nitro 351 (VIN#*****************) in April of 2022 From Camping World of **** in MN.1.The water heater was not properly installed/capped. So, the first time it was filled it flooded the under belly of the *** 2.The 50amp cable that runs through the ** from the plug to the junction box developed a Neutral to Hot short. 3.The rear bathroom/holding tanks do not vent properly, which means if the exterior drain is not open the washing machine when it empties will back up water into the inside of the camper and the toilet will Burp whatever contents are inside of it when you try to flush. 4.Entry doors do not close properly when the slides are out. The front door needs to be slammed, he rear door does not stay latched unless the dead bolt is engaged 5.The electrical is bad somewhere and has burnt out two inverters. The first one was replaced, but the company that makes them refuses to replace the second one, because well it isnt their fault that the electrical system is incorrect.6.The bottom trim pieces were not properly sealed on the exterior bottom of the side of all three slides. This has allowed water to accumulate and has started to rot the wood of all three slides as well as the interior wood. When I brought it in for service in October to the **** camping world, they claimed they could find no leaks and refused to do anything. This is our primary issue. The others listed are frustrating, however, this problem was present from the very first time we took it out, and I assume has been an issue both through building and sitting on the dealership lot. The moisture and water have started to rot the bottom of the slide, and other parts of the wall are showing signs of mold. I have worries for the health of my family, the structural strength, and the negative effect the water damage has on the value of my camper.

      I purchased a 2022 Salem Cruise Lite 171RBXL (VIN *****************) in June of 2022. I purchased this for my daughter to live in while she is in college. In December 2022 she notice water leaking out from under the cabinet/stove area. The table top would not fit between the bench seats to lay flat and the kitchen window seemed to be leaking too. I took the camper to the place we purchased (******************************************). They stated the water pump was broken and had to be replaced and they would fix the table and seal the window. After fixing the water pump, table and window, they performed a water pressure test and the window stilled leaked. It took 5 weeks for Forest River **************** to approve. The first window was supposedly sent to ********* and got lost, then a 2nd window was ordered and it was sent to ********. A 3rd window was ordered and I am still waiting to hear back when and if it will get delivered. We had to take our older motorhome for my daughter to live in, so she would have a place to stay. She is over 2 hours away from home. This has been very frustrating and inconvenience for us, especially since it is camping season. We had to borrow a friends camper for our vacation.Forest Rive and their warranty company needs to provide better and faster service. Repairs should not take this long. Dealership has had our camper since Dec. 2022 and it is not now April of 2023. This is very unprofessional.

      This is an additional update to my previous complaint filed on 4/5/2023 (Reference ID ********* for the 2022 Salem Cruise Lite 171RBXL (VIN *****************) ** purchased in June of 2022. On 4/11/2023, Camping World called that morning and stated they had received the window for the ** and would get it installed as soon as possible. I received another call later that afternoon around 4 from Camping World stating the window frame was bent and too damaged to install. They would have to order another one from ******* River. On Monday 4/17/2024, Camping World stated the window should be in that week. As of today 4/24/2023 Camping world has not received a new window for the **. I do not understand why it takes so long to get a window. This is ridiculous that it takes this long to ship and receive a window that we have been needing for over 2 months. This camper is my daughters home, and she is needing it back. The ** has been at camping world since December 2022. 4 months without a home that she is paying for is just a rip off. Something needs to be done very soon.

      Refund; Replacement; A refund for all the payments my daughter has made and has been unable to use. Or replace the camper, since this one can not get fixed.

      After review we do apologize but this window is something we are at the mercy of an outside supplier as this window is not something we use in current production so is purchased and shipped outside of are network. We are in contact to expedite a new one and ask to ship a different method to allow no issues. We will certainly offer an additional year repair warranty for these issues.

      We purchased new a Forest River Wildwood travel trailer 3/31/2022 that came with a one-year warranty. There were problems with the slide out as it got stuck in the open position. I had to take the travel trailer into an RV repair shop to fix the slide out. I have sent the repair invoice to Forest River (3/7/2023) I have called and left messages and sent emails to find out the status of the claim, but no one returns the calls or emails.

      Original date of the purchase 3/25/22; however, the ** has been returned for repairs in 4/22, 8/22 (not retuned until 3/23), and again in 3/23 (same issue not fixed). The ** is a 2022 (new) Forest River ********************* Ultra Lite FW289RB Vin *****************. Purchase cost = $76,954 and is financed. The business' commitment to us is the unit will actually work; however, the service center has had the unit ~8 months and currently has it. The slides do not function. The main living area slide does not work. All 3 times we have returned the unit the living area slide has been a problem. It will go out, but it will not go back in. The master bedroom slide broke during our vacation and would not extend, and the kitchen slide makes a loud popping noise. We missed all of our camping trips in the fall and now are missing all of our spring season. Can't make summer plans because we have no idea when we will have a unit that works. When we returned the unit the 1st time (less than 1 month after getting it), the *** extended the warranty 3 months (until 6/23). After 2 more times of having to return the camper for service, we asked for an extension until December 2023 and was told "NO!!!" and "trust us since you have had issues in the past we "most likely" will cover any slide issues after the warranty expires." A unit that cost almost $80K should not have these types of issues. NOT only should this company extend the warranty, they should be reimbursing us for not being able to use it. I cannot believe their attitude and their lack of standing behind their product. Basically, the warranty representative, *******************************, blew off any responsibility just saying, we are covering the service and basically "what's your problem". My problem IS we can't and haven't been able to use a NEW camper for the most of time we have had it! Not to mention when will it break again. I am sure they will be happy to tell me in July that the warranty is expired and you're on your own.

      Purchased a forest river ********* in December of 2021. On the day of delivery there was an issue with the slide, which damaged the unit. It was reported immediately and we were told it would be handled. We were then ghosted. We ended up speaking to forest river, and they sent us to a local dealership. The unit has been in the dealership for over 5 months, and the repair work is being denied because forest river blames the slide/piston company, who blames them. When the unit was put together a piece of material was left in it, causing the slide issues. We have been without a working unit since the day of delivery, and we have barely used it. Other warranty issues have also been denied.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, provided the work gets done.  They have stated that they would have the parts here by yesterdady (friday the 31 of March), however parts were not received. I would request that we leave this complaint open for another 2 weeks in order to insure that they do complete the work.

      I purchased a 2021 Forest River ***** in February of 2021. Over the next ********************************************************************* various places. I called Forest River and spoke with ****. She said they were aware of the problem and it was a manufacturer's defect and they would replace the floor even though the ** was no longer under warranty. She told me to make an appointment at ******* ***** and to have them file the paperwork to replace the floor. I did so and when ******* ***** contacted them, they stated that it needed to be approved by a manager. That was 3 weeks ago, I have received NO help from Forest River to rectify this situation and now my ** is just sitting at ******* ***** unable to be used. I was told by ***** at Forest River that I should have gotten an email from **** offering me $2000 for the repair...I never got that. But, to actually replace the floor is more like $8000 and since I was told this was a manufacturer's defect and it would be taken care of, I think they should deliver on that word.

       I am rejecting this response because it is not specific enough. I would like to know what level of help they will be providing to help replace the floor since when I first spoke to ******************* I was informed it will be taken care of even out of warranty because it was a manufacturer defect.  I have yet to receive any communication from Forest River with specifics. All I have is a voicemail from their customer service saying since I have filed this complaint he couldnt do anything more to help me. I was told the ** would be in touch and have not received a phone call or email.

      I have purchased three campers made from forest river *** over the last 10 years. In January 2022, I purchased my last. I purchased a Cherokee 324ts from ********** in ******, **. in January of 2022. My family drove 2 hours to this dealer due to the being the closest with what we were looking for, which was your brand camper. It was a painful buying experience to say the least. Nothing was ready when we got there and took 3-4 hours to get things completed. When we got home with the camper we plugged it in and realized the fridge didn't work. I called the dealer and they wanted us to bring the camper back. We finally agreed I would remove the fridge and they would swap it but I still had to drive 5 hours round trip to get the replacement and reinstall myself. Next when we took our camper out the shower was leaking. We just dealt with it for sometime due to knowing we would have to take it in for warranty work. Finally in November of last year we took it in to get that fixed. After this dealer kept my camper for 7 weeks I was finally able to go get it in mid January. Once we returned home from another 5 hour round trip, we hooked up water and power, only to see that the shower was still leaking. I then called the dealer only to be told they could not help me unless I brought it back again. I called your company at this point for help. I spoke with a guy named ****** who acted like he was there to help. I was told he would research and see what you all could do , but I never received a call back. I called again, and I ended up with ****** again. At this point it was like I had never spoken with him the first time and had to explain the event and problem again. ****** then informed me that the only option I had was to take the camper back to the dealer that kept my camper for 7 weeks and didn't fix the problem. I asked to speak with someone else to try and find a solution that was better. I then spoke with *********************** who told me that I could get a mobile person to fix the shower and pay the bill myself, then Forest River would reimburse me for labor and parts. I felt good after that call and did exactly this. I had the shower repaired , which took 4 hours due to having to remove cabinets to be able to pull tracks from the shower to seal under them because they were never sealed at the factory. Only $30 in parts and $360 in labor. Next I send this invoice for reimbursement only to get the run around and finally get told by ***** that your company will only reimburse me 0.5 hours and the parts which totals $80. Now, I had to fix the shower to use the camper but I have had an absolutely terrible experience with this camper from the dealer to your staff. I have owned multiple units made by your company but I can assure you that I will never own another due to the way this was handled. I will never be able to point anyone towards ********** as a dealer or your brand either.Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did and I do not expect any action from this message.

      We sympathize with ******************** frustrations. In our initial conversation with ****************, we explained that Forest Rivers warranty can be honored by any Forest River dealership near him. When he called in an additional time, we made an exception to our standard procedure. We agreed to have the repairs reviewed by a 3rd party service center, so **************** did not have to travel an extended distance.  We requested an estimate for the remaining repairs that were needed prior to the work being done. Forest River did not receive an estimate. Only a paid invoice once the repairs were already completed. The invoice we received was not an official invoice from an RV Service Technician. The invoice was generated by ******* Home Improvement Service.  When we called to verify what repairs were made, we were informed that the work had been done by the customers father. We offered to cover our authorized labor time and to cover the total cost of parts. **************** was not in agreeance of these terms. Forest River provides a one-year warranty from the date of purchase and is ready and willing to assist in any warrantable repairs.We will stand behind our offer to cover our authorized labor time and to cover the total cost of parts if the customer chooses to proceed. We hope to rectify this case for all parties involved.

       I am rejecting this response because:I was never asked to provide a quote for the work before getting it done.  Yes the work was done by my father who is a general contractor because of the inability of forest rivers dealer and warranty department to remedy the issues.  I am only sending this complaint so that others can know of what type of business this is and what they can expect from there warranty.
