      In late 2020, I purchased a Forest River Wildwood X-Lite ****************************************************************************************************************** through the simple warranty process. Towards the end of October 2021, we took a trip in the trailer mentioned above and the slide would not go in or out. In addition, the slide was sagging on the inside with the slide area closest to the back of the trailer almost hitting the floor. I took it to a repair shop the following week to have the slide looked at as well as other minor issues that were still under warranty. About a month later, the repair shop contacted me and said the warranty work was complete but they were not interested in fixing the slide because of the difficulty and unreliability of the job.So I picked up my trailer at the end of January 2022 and took it to another repair place where it sat for the better part of 5 months until it was looked at and it was determined by that shop that they couldn't fix it either. Onto the third shop in July of 2022. They promptly looked at it and sent the estimate to my dealer advocate from the dealership I purchased it from (it was the ******* slide issue). Forest River did approve the repair but has insisted the labor required does not match what they are willing to pay out. As a consumer and purchaser of their product, I am appalled. They do not stand behind their product and expect me to pay over $700 out of pocket for a well known issue that is plaguing a number of their trailers.Since this issue was initially filed prior to the warranty expiring I expect the warranty to cover all labor and parts costs. So since November of 2021, and it is currently August 26, 2021 my 32' travel trailer has been about as useful as a paperweight. I'm not asking for money back for making payments on a product where they guarantee 100% customer satisfaction, I am asking that all parts and labor be covered. Stand by your product Forest River!

      Purchased my travel trailer through ************************** in April 2022. Took the travel trailer out twice and on the third trip, the slide out seized up. It has been sitting at the dealership for 3 weeks. This slide out issue is with the ********* gears in the slide out. It is a known issue as multiple owners via ************** are saying they have the same issue. The tires that are also coming on these travel trailers are exploding prematurely.

      I bought a Brand New 2022 Alpha Wolf M33BHL in Aug of 2021, we took our first trip to spend a couple months out west to explore the west side of the **, on our way out the water pump went out, and the propane line fell while driving, luckily for me there was someone kind enough to stop me before it did a whole lot of damage. I chocked these incidents up to abnormality and those it was just a slight overlook on the maker's fault. while enjoying the west three of our window "trims" (hides the shade rollers) fell off the walls and our kitchen slide out trim started separating. the couch also was very cheaply made and broke across the front as well. The bedroom door slider also broke due to it being made cheaply of plastic.The worse didnt happen until we started drving back. On our way back the wheel trim started flying off, had to pull over quickly to take it off the rest of the way before it broke and flew into the highway. once we got about 2/3rds of the way back I was flagged down but another kind person. THE BATTERY RACK THAT IS WELDED BROKE! IT BROKE 3 WELDS AND PULLED MY BATTERY AND WIRING INTO THE **** AND WORE IT ALL DOWN TO NOTHING!!!! The solar wires and fuses were gone, it kinked up the propane hose as well. I followed the process and called the local dealer who referred me to ******* ***** in North ****** ** to have them fix my camper. It has been there 2 MONTHS!!!!! and all I get for answers from them is that they are waiting on Forest River to tell them it is ok to fix it and for what parts they want them to use! The entire Summer has come and is almost gone. and I am still making payments on something that should be sitting in my yard ready to use. I have a couple more trips coming up and I want to use it now!I am EXTREMELY upset over this whole experience and will not recommend... Actually I will strongly urge anyone that asks me to not use Forest River or any Coachman products.

       I am rejecting this response because: This is still taking too long, I was told there was nothing they could do to expedite this process and they would let me know when the parts are ordered and come in, this is taking too long still. all they need to do and send the parts. or send higher quality parts if those are on back log. I am still not happy with the lack of care shown to me and the length of time it is taking just to get approvals let alone they haven't ordered all the parts yet! FAR FROM QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

      I have already had a few people ask me if I would recommend you guys and your campers and have said a hard no due to lack of quality and lack of care for the customer.

      First of all, I find it very interesting Forest River won't answer the phone when I called. I purchased my Class C October 2021 from ************** in *********** *******. Right off the bat several issues (cracked running board, scratch full length of back bumper, no TV remotes, exterior driver side LED marker light half burned out, bathroom motion sensor light will not turn off, exterior storage door lock would not lock). The ** was at the dealership for over 4 months. Most of the discrepancies were corrected. As of 8/12/2022 the dealer says they are still waiting for the bathroom sensor light and exterior marker light. I can't believe it has been almost 11 months and Forest River cannot get two lights shipped. This is inexcusable!!!

      The leather couches in many Forest River campers and RV's are flaking and peeling. This is an issue with numerous makes and models, spanning several years, yet Forest River will not do anything to correct the problem or replace the products already sold in their units that cost thousands of dollars.

      Camper was purchased in March 2022. In July 2022, while driving- the entire wheel hub assembly fell off camper while driving. An extremely dangerous situation. Called store where it was purchased from and they said they couldnt help. Corporate was closed for the weekend. Had to call a mobile repair service- advised by camping world to come out and repair. Over $800 in repair cost, 2 days to pay to park camper during repair, and gas that had to be paid to and forth getting the camper hours from home. Called corporate first chance they were open. ****** the supervisor and ****** the customer relation specialist said I would be refunded the full amount. I was also instructed NOT to drive the camper under any circumstance until the dealership inspected to make sure everything was up to code. I was then told that it would be covered to tow it since camper was only 4 months old. Then told it was $500 to tow it and forest river wouldnt pay it and it was probably fine just to drive it there myself. Even though 5 minutes prior I was told not to drive it. After multiple attempts to reach out and get update on refund, finally received word that only $565 of the $1200 in receipts/claims were being approved. This is complete negligence on forest river and I was told I would be reimbursed fully. I want me complete refund for putting myself and family in ***** way.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      The full amount is not being refunded. I am still out over $400 in what I had to repair to fix the camper, and drive back and forth to retrieve camper when it shouldve been towed under warranty. I was told I shouldnt have had to pay a single dime for this repair but because The dealership never transferred the warranty into my name I was unable to. Once again- failure of Forest river and the dealership to do their part. I was told my ****** the supervisor that it was a mistake on their end but they would try to do better next time. But what was done was done so I wont get my full refund. I am not asking for massive amounts of money or compensation for the complete negligence on forest river. I am simple asking for the FULL $1,250 that I had to pay out of MY POCKET to repair the camper that forest river failed to put together correctly. 

      they have only agreed to reimburse $835.22 and made it very clear they were doing ME a huge favor for that. I want the remaining refund or my complaint will stay.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      I am still out money for all of the other incurred costs that Forest River is DENYING to pay. I would have had to Pay NOTHING if the warranty was transferred into my name. It wasn't, so I was unable to use their mobile tech service. So I then had to pay tax and a fee to pay the bill- all of which I wouldn't have had to do IF Forest River had transferred the warranty into my name. ****** the manager said I would have literally had to pay NOTHING for this if things were handled correctly by Forest River. She also stated that  this was not handled right but she will do her best to make sure it doesn't happen in the future- but what's done is done. So I had to pay all the extra cost out of MY pocket because of Forest River's mistake. That is uncalled for and why I am asking for the FULL refund I paid. It is a $400 difference that Forest River should be responsible for because they failed to do the paperwork correctly. All fees are not being refunded. I submitted the claim with all costs and there is still a $400 balance remainder that is owed to me. Please stop trying to make it seem like you did me a favor when this all happened because of Forest River's negligence.

       

      As stated before, my claim will still stand until the remaining $400 is reimbursed to me. We are pushing on over 2 months and I still haven't even seen the portion that I was told I would receive.

      trying to file a warranty claim for a 2022 Coachmen Encore 375RB. We had a ******* leveling **** fail on auto level, it was bent. We had to unbolt it and turn it sideways to get back on the road., Every customer service number I call goes to ONE PERSONS desk VoiceMail. Roadside assistance says since we are back on the road, they cannot help me. I have called 4 numbers for coachmen, all of them go to ONE PERSONS desk VoiceMail. I was finally told today, (2 days after the incident) that I needed to file a claim. I asked for the phone number and was told by Roadside assistance that they are not provided with the phone number for claims. They gave me the standard **************** Phone #. When I call this, and follow the prompts for "Warranty", it goes to the same ONE PERSONS desk Voicemail....AGAIN. I had to call the number again, get the receptionist to answer, and she transferred me to some woman's desk phone that AGAIN went to voicemail. We are 1 month into a 3 month road trip with our BRAND NEW RV and we have a 3yr old with us. I will NOT make the rest of this trip without being able to level the ***

      The trailer has been leaking water since purchase. We have been inside the trailer during a rain storm and located the actual source of the water. It appears the water is pouring in from the fan above the stove in the vehicle. Water is pouring from the vent itself and from the wall behind the vent. There is mold accumulating in the vehicle which is a health hazard. It appears after examining the roof that it was not sealed properly. A complete refund or a new trailer is expected.

      In the first year I had 15 warrantee issues (first 15 issues listed below). I only took it on one significant trip right at the end of the warrantee period due to Covid travel restrictions). I bought a lemon and asked for a 12-month warrantee extension. On our next trip I had a near death experience when the axle broke at 60 MPH. My requests for warrantee extensions were ignored even though we have had 7 water leaks, we have been stranded roadside (out of state) 3 separate times in the first 16 months of ownership. In the past 2 years I have had 40 workmanship failures on my 2020 R Pod 189 (listed below). I am complaining again now only because I just noted the massive bubbling of the paper-thin laminate around the kitchen sink that I cannot repair. 1.Delivery from dealer delayed 2 weeks, Air Conditioner defective, required replacement.2.Upon pick up- obstructed slide, interior molding needing trimming. Not repaired.3.On our first outing the heater would not work. 4.Curtain cord undone- curtain inoperable. 5.Rear window curtain would not stay up. 6.P trap disconnected draining water to the cabinet floor on first outing 7.Bathroom door handle loose and almost detached.8.Shower hot water k*** was detached and on the shower floor.9.Outside door was impossible to close and open.10.Dump line hanging bracket failed dragged and ruined the valve and cover- left stranded. 11.Two bolts for the entry stairs hanging loose. One was stripped 12.Dump tank retaining strap completely failed (again)- seriously stranded. 13.Rear curtain had dangling valance 14.Adjacent valance screws loose, ready to fail. 15.The rubber bumper on the door was dry rotted upon delivery.16.Multiple dealer warrantee repairs inadequate- continued failures- I made repairs 17.Two individual steps loose, screws loose, one fell out 18.Fridge control panel repeatably falls off 19.Upper kitchen cabinet support broke Additional 21 items - not room to list here.

      I listed 40 product failures.  The manufacturer offered to correct only one failure, the countertop.  I requested extension of warrantee to cover several items.  I have made several repairs.  Remaining repairs I request in addition to the countertop is the ball bearing slide on external stove, bath fan that will not operate properly, and just this week the closet door broke due to faulty material / workmanship. I request these 4 replacements/ repairs.

      VIN# **************** Our problems on our brand new unit started the first week we owned it. Its a 2021 East to ******************* terra 271BH. After not being able to get any service from the dealership for warranty work we were informed by forest river to contact our regional service rep for forest river. We called left messages and never received a return call. Then Months passed by a I was able to get someone at forest river on the phone. ***********************, she was quick to help and shipped parts that were missing and after some time we were able to get the unit in for inspection of a bad leak in the slide. After *************************** ** inspected the unit they said the slide was totally defective and need pretty much be replaced . It has been at the service department for months now and has had the wrong color panels for the ceiling sent from forest river and they were installed being told that the others were not available. But then the correct white ones were shipped and received and now forest river is refusing to pay again to have them installed because they are blaming the dealership and the dealership is blaming forest river. But the right thing to do is get me my camper back because it has now been down for 2 ******* without us being able to use it. I am really tired of all the headaches this brand new but extremely poor quality camper has caused us and forest river must make it right.

      We have not received confirmation of compensation for 10 months the Unit was out of service. We also have not agreed that everything has been completed. When Forest River agrees to compensate for the loss of use on a new unit that we are paying for and were unable to enjoy we will close the complainant as satisfactory!
