My concentrator appears to be failing as it is making strange noises. I've tried calling three times. The last time I was placed on hold for ~30 minutes before it asked me to leave a message and they would get back to my in the next 2 hours to 2 days! I guess they want me to hold me breath until they can call me back.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. They charge my credit card incorrectly for almost $600, saying they hadn't been paid by my insurance company, which had actually paid them. The insurance company provided Apria with check numbers for every payment and it took eight calls and three months to get a PARTIAL refund. They are still dragging their feet on refunding the remainder of the incorrect charge. They're awful to deal with on the phone. Every time we (the insurance company and I together) call, we get a different person. None of them understand the notes on the account, and they won't connect us with the team lead who has been working on the case. They put us on hold, ask questions, put us on hold again, and finally they say they'll call back. They never call back. It's AWFUL to deal with them.

Apria should be the last company anyone chooses to do business with!!!!Apria Healthcare should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau. This company steals money from their customers by continually sending bills to themwhile stating that this is the last bill the customer is going to receive. This company adds to your health problems by constantly sending bills to you and stating the insurance company did not cover the claim. After calling ones insurance company, the company states that Apria was already paid. This must stopplease look into this company unethical behavior towards their clients

Terrible customer service! Today, they scheduled to come and fix the exigen concentrator for my mom between 10:30am-400pm, No one showed up, we didnt received a phone call with an update, at 6:00 pm I called them again, they said to wait two more hours. 8:30 pm, still not here. I call back at 8:30 pm, they said between 11:00pm-12:00 am. Are they nuts? What do they think that someone was gonna be here at that time waiting for you! I said: my mom and dad are sick and old, they are being waiting on the couch near the door for you guys to show up all day, do you think they are gonna wait until midnight, this is insane, I asked to speak to a supervisor they said it was not available. Terrible experience!I hope tomorrow someone shows up to fix the concentrator. This company lacks of empathy and compassion for others theres no doubt about it.

Initially, I had a very difficult time with Apria feeling the same way as everyone else but for instance, today I had an exceptional experience they missed a delivery, but called rescheduled and stayed on the phone with me to make my life easy by giving me a schedule that would be convenient for me. I thought it was very professional And they should be proud of todays service

If I could give zero stars I would. I received a NIV ventilator in January 2023. It never worked. They changed it out twice and neither machine worked. After 3 attempts I finally had it removed and I went back to my ByPap. Problem is Apria continues to bill me for this machine that I do not have, and never worked. 11 months later they have rung up a charge of over $1000.00 on my account. I tried many times to fix this but I keep getting bounced between the local office and the billing department. Unbelievable, especially when I am fully insured and Apria seems to refuse to submit a proper claim to ************************* What makes things worse, just yesterday I tried to speak to a gentleman in the local office but he kept saying that I was yelling at him, which I was not, and then he hung up on me. This company's customer service is non existent and I highly recommend that you seek medical equipment elsewhere since they don't seem to care if they do something wrong or if you are a happy customer. Don't leave your medical needs in this companies hands.

They wouldn't make me an appointment at my local office. They want me to drive 1.5 hours to *****, when I live 20 minutes from there office in *********. They're nuts. I have a sleep Machine already, I just need to stop in to get fitted with a new mask. Oh NO! You can't try a mask on here. Because My address is a mile over the *** Code line. The sky is falling! I called customer service. Im told all their offices operate however they want. Corporate cannot make any office do anything because they are independent offices, free from any rules. Thats why they DO NOT CARE about the people. It's simple. They are very lazy and if they aren't taught customer service, they won't ever get it, AND ULTIMATELY WONT go out of there way to give service.! They won't ever help you!

Impossible to deal with...they have so many numbers listed on their website and none of them seem to be able to work with or cross talk to each other. No way to contact someone form customer service via email either. Was sent the wrong masks, which I never ordered in the first place, was told the "returns" **** would send me an email with instructions....been a week...no email. Can't for the life of understand why I can't just take to the local office, 5-miles down the road, to return this stuff and get proper credit on my account. I don't understand how they are still in business and why providers or insurance companies allow them to function as they do. Oh, and on the bill, which they created for me for stuff I did not order, stated it was being sent to 'collections' unbless I paid it immediately. Did I mention this bill was just rec'd, as such, how can it be past due already? Oh, the bill is $11.62...I think the only way this changes is if a class action lawsuit is brought against the company, by insurers and insurees, and state agencies. I think my next course of action is to file a complaint with the ********************* or Attorney General.

My 86-year-old mother was prescribed an oxygen concentrator in July and was told that her insurance would pay the bulk of the cost. Apria never ran it through her insurance was, without her knowledge, directly taking out $241.51 a month from her bank account. This has been going on since July. Once she was aware that this was happening, I spent the better part of November calling them and trying to remedy the situation. I was finally told two days ago that they would send the bill to her insurance first. Then looked at her account only to see that the very same day I was told this, $241.51 was again (TWICE this month) taken from her account for the concentrator. This has become an absolute nightmare for an elderly woman on a fixed income. I sincerely need advice on how to deal with this!

Consistently imperfect and can't get a call back. My physician provided them with the appropriate documentation to file with insurance so that everything was covered, but they failed to send that and therefore my claim was rejected and now Apria is threatening to send me to collections for outstanding bills.
