It's not like I'm out of step here -- there's a reason they have **** starts as of this writing. Terrible billing and customer service - they need to retrain everyone, or maybe just have training of any sort, as nobody seems to be able to do their job. The company is basically a monopoly when it comes to ordering through insurance, plus they charge so much to the companies that my co-pay is basically the same price as ordering the stuff myself via Amazon. I've spent hours on the phone with them trying to rectify things, and I'm done with it. Cancelled all my stuff with them and I'll just buy it all directly.

Apria is a scam, they are crooks, they are dishonest. Im contacting my lawyer to see if I have a case. Apria is a company I have had the very unpleasant experience working with. I think they are scamming customers that have medical needs. Examples are:1. 4 years ago my mom had cancer. I took over the estate POA and had to handle her medical care. They would pick up the equipment and not log the equipment in. This was 4 years ago and this happened a couple times over 7 months.2. My dad just passed on Monday. During his transition, I had to move him to assisted living. I witnessed Apria pick his bed up at the house and witnessed the install of a new bed at assisted living. The bed picked up is still on the account and they are telling me I need to return the equipment or get charged. 3. My dad hated Aprias wheelchair. He called them and had them pick it up and I had to write a check to buy my dad a nicer wheelchair. We dont have that wheelchair from Apria, they do! 4. My dad broke his leg a couple years back. He needed a trapeze bar to move in bed. This was also Apria and it was picked up when my dad was finally released from the board and care after 8 months away from his home. I asked two agents in the last two days if they see this a lot and the answer is yes! Im not going to pay Apria for equipment that they took. I just lost my dad on Monday and this is the last thing I want to deal with, especially when I witnessed the pick up of the bed and wheelchair. Apria is stealing and scamming folks with medical needs.

I started sleep therapy back in January 2023 with a c-pap machine acquired through Apria healthcare. After meeting my health insurance deductible ($1000.00) and my health insurance paid 8 out 10 months of rent for the machine. I unfortunately I was forced to retire due to a disability and lost my health care insurance. I have been trying to negotiate a settlement, offering to pay the remaining 2 months of rent my health insurance would have paid $89.00 per month. I even offered to pay 2 months at the "self-pay rate" of $110.00 per month and was told the original contract had ended. The three options I was given were; 1) buy the machine outright for an additional $1050.00, 2) start a new 15 month contract at the "self pay rate" of $110.00 per month, and 3) return the c-pap machine with no refund. Mind you, Apria Health, at their discretion, has the ability to maintain the original contract or make reasonable changes. We are talking about a machine that retails at around $1100.00. If this isn't gouging I don't know what is.

I was charged for my CPAP machine even though I met my deductible they required me to pay. I have talked to them for the past 5 months to get my refund and Im constantly connected to workers who are out of the country who have not yet handed my refund. Every time I speak with someone they give me a new reason on why they have not sent it and give me a sorry apology and say they will request the refund again and to trust them. This is definitely not a company I would have chosen to use, but this was the only option I had with my ****** Permanente us on the list for my clinic. If you have the ability to select another company I would recommend using another company outside of Apria.I spoke with another representative and their representative stated that they sent my refund and I need to call the mailing company, when asked why would my refund be at a post office for over two weeks the representative said let me look into it. He returned to say your refund is with the ********** of ******* so again this company is quick to withdraw money from your account, but wont refund your money.I asked to speak to a representative in state and I was told I cant and then put on hold again. When the representative came back he stetted that they cant send a refund anymore because they have sent one out. I proceeded to tell the man I didnt receive a refund and all the representatives had said the same thing when i called previously and the he just hung up on me. Its a shame that this company has no accountability with any one as 5 months waiting for a refund is by far not professional.

I have been with Apria for many years and the customer service that I have experienced recently is absolutely abominable. They were unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, and flat out liars. I had placed an order for CPAP supplies. They claimed that it was delivered and it was not delivered. I got hung up on I got transferred I got lied to. They finally said that they would re-ship the order which I still have not received. They either need to give me my money back or send the resend the packaging. They have not done any of this. I am almost and Im Cloverly done with .

Zero Stars for Apria...I have been with Apria for too many years and today I am officially done. Their automated system is the worst and their customer support isn't better. I can't tell you how many times I was added back into their CPAP supply autoship without my consent. And now they have these robo calls they try and get you to order through. Silly me, I was low on supplies and short on time when I received their robocall so went ahead and went through the prompts and ordered my 3-month CPAP supplies. But of course, it was a huge mistake. A few days later I noticed on my bank statement they charged me the full amount for the order so I reached out to the Apria customer support team and their person argued with me that my deductible wasn't met, and kept telling me inaccurate information from their system on what I still have left on MY deductible allowance. My deductible has long been met so I called my insurance and they confirmed it was met and they hadn't received the claim yet. After several days of calls, it was discovered that Apria had an incorrect group number on file for me. Most of the Apria Customer support I spoke with these past few days (and the past calls over the years) were ignorant and/or rude. It takes a lot to push me to the point of writing a negative review, but I cannot NOT say something. Stir clear of this company.

This company has consistently called requesting payment when the client has a valid credit card on file for payments that are on a scheduled date. They are calling an elderly person with dementia. Luckily, I am the contact person, so I am able to fend off their constant request for payments. I have asked multiple times for them not to call since we have an automatic payment on file for the last 2 years! It falls on deaf ears as they call the following week. They don't check on their equipment unless you ask but they sure are able to harass for payments that are not late.

After 14 years of using Liquid O2 for my oxygen needs, Apria without warning removed my equipment and replaced it with heavy metal tanks. Since I live alone this made my life extremely more strenuous which was bad for my health. The company did not care. I live alone and over the pass few years, I have gotten weaker. I really do not need to be hauling around metal tanks for survival. It actually does just the opposite.

This is the most horrible company. They have lied to me stating my insurance covered the cost of equipment then turned around and sent me a bill for $200 due in 3 days. When I call to say that's absolutely ridiculous they then insult me by saying we can give you a couple of extra days. On top of that they say oh by the way the amount of the bill is wrong. I get a new date to pay and they then harass me with collection calls threatening to send it to collections AFTER I made arrangements. It gets better. I suddenly start getting those same harassing phone calls months later but I don't have a bill. I call these pieces of c*** again to find out, oh we haven't sent the bill yet but it's OK to harass me for a bill they haven't even sent. This is the most disreputable company ever. NEVER use this company if you can.
