      Apria continues to bill beyond the 12 month rent-to-own period. Apria has billed for 14 months and stated they add 12 additional months of payments each time a customer changes insurance carriers. They plan to bill be 19 total month (7 last year plus 12 this year). United Healthcare has been notified and is investigating this potential fraudulent claim.

      They received one star because there is no option of NO STARS! This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with in my life!!! They refuse to connect you to a supervisor and they are constantly harassing me for payments I don't owe. I pay my bill in full and they call and tell me that the payment is from Apr/May (all my payments cover Apr/May according to them). Then they tell me according to their systems I have an outstanding balance that miraculously doesn't show up on-line or on the bills. The same two people call me. They never listen and just talk over you. I would not recommend using this company for your CPAP machine/supplies. I am in the process of dumping this company and going with another - it can't happen fast enough!!!

      I never am able to get ******** from this company, so I often had no idea what I was being charged for or whether or not it was correct. Also, had unauthorized charges. My ******** advantage plan has stopped dealing with them. I just got a new charge on my credit card for over $200 and I did not authorize it nor do I know what it is for. And I have not received anything from them recently at all. Kept on hold 40 minutes when try to call them!

      Apria has been a total mess since we started with them. My daughter had a tracheostomy placed in May. Getting supplies, communications, and other needs met have been a total s*** show. I am so incredibly frustrated when I have to call them. Most recently we have tried ordering circuits for my daughter's ventilator and. After ordering them twice and not receiving our orders, I have had enough!

      Got Bi-pap 3/2021 for 15 months rental, the last charge was in 5/2022. Ins denied last charge (they had only agreed to a total of 14 payments) so I paid but noticed that a charge of $3653.44 entered in 12/2022. Called Apria 4/2023 and was told was maintenance fee but could not do anything about it until insurance settled. Called Apria 6/2023 and was told that was the retail cost of machine but could not do anything about it until ins settled. 8/10/2023 noticed charge on credit card for $437.60 and called. Was 1st told that bi-pap considered rental for 15 months then is loaner that it never becomes mine. She put me on hold and when she came back she said that in 12/2022 the machine was converted to purchase and that the $437.60 was then considered the purchase price. I had her remove my card so nothing else can be charged to it. Then I checked with my insurance and the *** stated that my responsibility was $0.00. So, now I guess I will have to call them back to get them to reimburse my credit card that amount since I was not supposed to be charged.

      I've been dealing with Apria rebilling the same service date order over and over for 3 years. Insurance denies the rebilled claim and Apria sends me a bill stating payment is the patients responsibility per insurance. What the *** says each time is the claim was part of another claim previously processed and I owe the provider $0.00.. So then Apria begins sending claims, after I stopped doing business with with Apria, with fictious dates of service. My insurance denies the claims and Apria sends me a bill stating, payment is the patients responsibility per insurance. Now Apria has turned my account over to a bill collection agency. My insurance provider has me working with their insurance fraud ***** What a mess! I have delt with the same issues as the other customer reviews.

      This is the worst company I have ever had to do business with. I have been trying to resolve an issue since May. It is now August. In the meantime, they have been paid by my insurance and myself, and I have nothing to show for it. it is impossible to reach anyone to speak to, and when you do nothing gets accomplished, this is a business. If I had a choice I would never ever do business with.

      I feel it necessary to leave a review to warn other consumers. We were randomly delivered equipment from Apria that we never requested or authorized, but they said our doctor did (so charge the doctor, not us, he doesn't speak for us). Then we received an outrageous bill for something we could've bought for 1/3 of that. **************** was a nightmare to get ahold of, and they refused to let us return it, giving us a complete run-around. Apria kept referring us back to the doctor, and the doctor kept insisting we needed to take it up directly with Apria. During all this run-around, they notified us that the bill would be going to collections. So we ended up having to pay it so it didn't end up on our credit report, and will now have to resell the stupid item (with the freaking tags still on it because we didn't need it!). WARNING to Consumers: If they show up at your door with equipment you did not order, REFUSE it and do not accept it. That will save you a huge hassle.

      I have been trying to get Apria to pick-up my dads oxygen machine. I set up a day to have it picked up and nobody shows up. I called again. They set it up and nobody shows up. It happened three times. I dont know how companies like this stay in business. I did not want to even leave a star! One star to too many!**********
