Dangerously incompetent. They've sent me the wrong equipment 6 times. They've billed me and my insurance for the wrong equipment 6 times. Apria isn't a medical provider they are entirely a fraud. Nothing they do even remotely qualifies as health care. Just a way to siphon money from you and your insurance.

I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and Apria Healthcare was supposed to send me a cpap machine. That was a year ago. I have spent this year trying to get this resolved. They have promised me several call backs, but I have never received one. I am very concerned about my health and will now have to start all over. I have worked in service for Texas Instruments for several years and this is not the way to run this department. I will definitely never choose or recommend Apria Healthcare for any other service and share how they do business everywhere I can. They are the worst.

They demand your credit card. We explained that our insurance pays 100% But they charged our credit card anyway. I made copies of the *** showing that we owed nothing and requested a refund. They ignored that, so a hour of phone calls and we finally got a refund, only to have them charge another small amount the next month. We cancelled our credit card and are changing company's. This place should be shut down for fraud..

Worst company I have ever dealt with in over 30 years of receiving healthcare in *******.They phone demanding payment before a balance has shown on any bill. They phone demanding payment days after I have paid online through their own system. My credit score is in the 800s - I know how to pay my bills. I'd rather pay out of pocket rather than deal with this company ever again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tons of wasted hours trying to track down missing equipment with customer service reps who just pass you around like a hot potato. Each conversation is like starting from scratch. Its been a month and the problem is still not resolved which is amazing considering how simple it would be to fix it. How in the world this place continues to function is beyond me. Apria is the worst!

This company is completely horrible. Never sending me the correct statements. Constantly sending me different statement amounts. They are never able to explain to me what the charges are for. I have deleted my debit card from the website over six months ago and in the last two months they have submitted charges to my card without my consent! I fear they are taking advantage especially with ******** patients! I am disgusted by this company.

My experience with the Houston branches of Apria over the years for my CPAP supplies has been deplorable. My most recent altercation has been with attempting to get a new CPAP. Over the course of 42 days, I have spent over 10 hours on the phone, much of which was on hold. I have been spoken to unprofessionally by ****** multiple times, and she yelled at me on our last call. My insurance company has even been on the phone with me when I've talked to Apria, but made no difference. I tried 3 times to escalate to a manager, who did not return my calls. When I finally did get to speak with the manager, *********************, he also spoke over me and raised his voice. Apria's business plan is to rent customers CPAPS for some months and then convert to a purchase. You cannot buy a CPAP through insurance with Apria. They do not come out and state this, though. They blame this on the insurance company. In my case, my insurance does cover the outright purchase of a CPAP. After much back-and-forth, where I declined to sign any agreement because it looked like a rental agreement, Apria just shipped a machine to my home. When I called to ask how and why this happened, I was told that if I don't want it, I can return it to the **** ***** location. I refused to spend more of my time and gas money to return an item I did not order, which is when ***** yelled at me. They said they would have someone come pick the machine up. but I won't believe that until I see it. They also said they will not bill my insurance.... anyone want to take the over / under on that? Please do not go through Apria for any durable medical equipment. Save yourself significant time and frustration by requesting your insurance company to provide you with a different vendor.

I had a wonderful customer rep that helped & explained tips for my oxygen machine & the moisture in the tubing. She took her time to make sure I understood everything!
