I would rate this company 0 stars if the rating system allowed. 1). Called customer Service requesting a quieter machine. Reply was, You get whatever is in our warehouse.2) Called to have the ** unit picked up and was told, You need to have your Doctor write a script for the discontinue order.3) I waited approximately 6 weeks for the unit to be picked up because all the drivers quit.4). I just received a bill from 15 months ago. So much for the quality of their accountants. Perhaps they should use a computer instead of an abacus.Should I need supplemental oxygen in the future, I will order online and pay out of pocket. It will be worth it to never deal with this company again.

Scamming practices. A Cpap machine was ordered and before it was sent, I asked them how much I would need to pay for it. I was told I wouldnt need to pay anything as it would be fully covered by my insurance. After they sent me all the equipment , they want to now charge me over $350. I asked them to pick up their machine and get it back as I wont pay anything for it.

Terrible company! Employees are disrespectful to the customers including the supervisor. She is unfriendly and has employees deal with customers so she doesnt have to. I think the company needs to be audited. I wonder if the customers are being over charged. There billing portal shows you owe one amount and they say you owe a different amount. They will not explain why the payment portal shows one amount and they say different. I will be switching DME Companies and hope I have better luck with the next one. I would not recommend Apria in *********** to anyone. Watch your pocket book if you are a customer of theres and expect to be disrespected.

Let's call this a Bait and Switch. May 7th, 2024, I get a call from Apria Healthcare about the prescription for a new CPAP machine. I get the papework, it details I'm being sent a ResMed Airsense 11 Autoset machine and the pricing for it. I pay the co-pay from my insurance immediately.Saturday, May 11th, a CPAP machine arrives. It's not the model of the machine I paid for and is on my receipt.I call them on Monday, May 13th and ask for a return label and the correct machine to be sent.Their response was infuriating! They told me, 'Can't do it. Your prescription was for a CPAP machine and we sent you a CPAP machine.'I told them they did not send what I paid for. They repeatedly said it didn't matter what was on the receipt and what I paid for, they sent a CPAP machine as that's all the prescription said and that was that.Needless to say, I'm filing a dispute with my credit card company. The machine is still in the box waiting to be shipped back to them. I thought the previous medical supply company I was using was bad, APRIA is worse!

Do NOT use this company to purchase CPAP machines or equipment. Their billing department and quality control are terrible. When calling customer service, you get a service call center not in our country and the person did not speak English well. I could NOT understand her. She was extremely rude when I asked her to repeat her name and how to spell it. From that date, I have insisted on all communication to be in a letter or email to document what is being said. The office and staff in ****** are great. It is the service you get from the place in charge of ordering supplies and the billing department - which the ************* has no control over. They sent me a frame that used magnets and the *** recalled it. I wear bilateral cochlear implants and was never notified. The recall was on December 13, 2023. I was never notified. I just happened to see the following letter online in March - "The recalled masks have magnets that can cause potential injuries or death when the magnets interfere with certain implanted metallic medical devices or metallic objects in the body. The *** classified this recall as a Class I recall, the most serious type of recall. Jan 18, 2024." My order was processed 1-23-24 and I did not receive it until the middle of February. The billing department said that I can't return the items because it is over ************************************* a bag. I refuse to pay the $199. 78 for the face masks, nasal pads, and accessories that go with a device that was recalled. You can order the items online very reasonably priced - never again will I use Apria for my CPAP supplies. I have an audiology appointment the first of June and I will be livid if my internal device has been affected because of their negligence.

Do NOT ever use this company to purchase Durable Medical Supplies. They're not even BBB Accredited, which off the bat tells you something. After waiting for them to get the doctor ***** (which they already had and advised me so)! as well as verifying the insurance (all of which took TWO weeks for just that), they filled my ***** by sending the completely wrong item! It then took 4 weeks to straighten it out and get the correct item! I called at least six times and spoke with a ********; ****; the Branch Manager several days later, *****, and manager *********************, None of whom could fix the problem and get it right. It is the most awful customer service. Then, when they finally, finally delivered the correct item, and it I paid the balance, they kept billing me , even though their records showed it was paid!Additionally, and cunningly, Apria they way overcharged for this durable medical supply by charging the insurance company $444 for an item I later found costs $20 off the shelf. Repeat, do NOT do business with this company.

**************** and billing are horrendous!!! They farm it out, it is hard to understand the billing reps, and the cannot answer questions completely. It is very difficult to do business with them due to lack of information they provide, the billing reps are speaking off a script, and the have no clear communication pattern with their customers. I have move my cpap supplies elsewhere. After paying my last co-pay for cpap i will NOT ever order from them again.

The billing department of Apria is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with, and that is saying a lot, given I have cancer and multiple autoimmune diseases, so I work with various medical companies, clinics and hospitals daily. They continue to DOUBLE BILL me monthly, despite ********** over 15 times to try to rectify the matter; basically, they are getting paid 100% of every single one of their bills by my insurance because I have met my out of pocket **** yet then turn around and bill me for that same amount/bill they just got paid on by my insurance! It is completely fraudulent. At first I assumed they were just inept. But after them acknowledging during endless phone calls that I have met my OOPM and they are getting paid in full by my insurance, they continue to double dip and attempt to get payment by me for what they already collected by my insurance! So at this point, it is nothing but fraudulent, as they clearly know this is happening and it is illegal. I don't know what else to do to stop the double-dipping and the monthly harassment for them to get paid twice, as they keep stating they have fixed the problem, and yet it happens month after month, unending. I am at my wit's end; it is absolutely disgraceful to treat sick people this way.
