      My wife went to get an oil change vehicle was in spectacular condition before arriving. After the oil change she pulled off from the business and could hear dragging from underneath she returned and they used zipped ties to tie the plastic that was hanging back up! Once I got home I noticed that whatever that was dragging caused a clamp to break off bumper! I have statements from employees with details of how they cause damage but the business is trying to take only half of the responsibility for the damage which it was all caused by negligence of my car when it was in they care! They tried to cover it up as well as didnt place it in the notes or any of there reports! Waiting for response but looking for legal advice so I can take legal action if necessary!

      I went to the location on *******************, **********, **. I arrived at 9:30 am December 8,2023 & was told their inspection guy was not there, to come back at 10am. So I went back at 10am & was told again by another employee that their inspection guy wouldnt be in until noon. I told the guy I had already been there twice & the first employee lied to me about when the inspection guy would be there. I was extremely upset because I made 2 ********** turned around and smiled at me & said have a nice day!! Are you kidding me!! No customer service. DO NOT do business with this company.

      Got oil change in Ofallin **.Got price for semi synthetic oil change for my car. ******* mkc while waiting.I agreed to the price Get my invoice and Im charged for extra oil. Why extra oil? They saw my car and gave me a price before taxes.When quoting prices there should be a higher than 5 quart price.Price quoted is misleading as 90% of vehicles use more than 5 quarts of oil

      This place is a joke, I highly recommend everyone stay far away!! Got my oil changed, left bay and got .3 miles away only for my vehicle to stall. A technician came over and said it was my battery, funny because 10 min before my battery was reading healthy, they offered zero help. Vehicle was towed to mechanic, after diagnosis they informed me Valvoline tech broke my mass air flow sensor while removing filter. I submitted a claim, got a phone call back that they reviewed the cameras and didn’t notice him breaking the mass airflow sensor. Apparently Valvoline has cameras that will go inside your vehicle from the bay to see these kind of things, right you guys are a joke and need to be shut down forever.!! Stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A BUSINESS. $352.65 later due to there lack of training and accountability of the damage they caused. You’ve lost a customer with your lack of accountability and I hope Valvoline closes its doors!!

      This customer has filed a claim investigation with Valvoline that has been denied. According to previous service record from 11/6/23 invoice - AIR FILTER HOUSING BOLT MISSING and service record from 9/16/23 - air filter clip missing on arrival.
      These notations indicate this is the source of the problem with the vehicle.

      As he looked at my car (low to the ground) the manager of the shop told me they're not responsible for any damage.Said I've been coming here since the shop was new and it should be fine.Wanted to see the technician pull my car to the bay since I told they were not responsible for damage.Then was "told" as in "I can't have you stand there" . Need to stand between the red bollards.A second customer pulled in next to my car. I was then "told" (no asked) to move I couldn't stand there. I said you told me to stand here. Now I'm blocking a fire exit. Meanwhile all eight big garage doors were wide open.Mentioned to worker I want to watch my car being driven into the bay since I was told they're not responsible for damage.As I walked to the other side of the bay I commented "you must be new here". He then told his mechanic to get out of my car they're not inspecting it.I'm now in the lobby speaking with customer service. Was informed my car would be inspected as they got off the phone with the Manager.They pulled car into the bay. 10 minutes later, the car did not pass. The windshield wipers bounce across the windshield. And the rear tires will not pass. Well, of course not. They did not like me calling customer service and they were in charge.He went to my car and tried to explain to me tires would not pass . I said they would pass. Then he told me he wasn't going to argue with me and they're not going to inspect my car.Started another chat with customer service, she asked me for the invoice number where my car failed inspection. I went to ask the technician for that copy and none existed. Um... no record of why it did not pass? They didn't want a record for some reason. I informed customer service I don't have one then she said the shop can refuse service, it's their decision.Then drove to another inspection station, and 45 minutes later my car passed inspection. Took pictures of my car at the business for proof I was there since I had no receipt.

      Why are they allowed to sell and install wrong oil for my car. I had 3 choices of oil, i chose the cheapest $51. Not knowing it was coventional not synthetic. 2 weeks later I read an article about oil changes. Got the recite and it read conventional oil. Went back and question why they would list that kind of oil that's not good for my car. Manager said I chose it so that's what I got. Will change oil for full fee. Went to take 5 oil ,they told me they don't sell conventional oil.

      Valvoline sells conventional, full synthetic, synthetic blend, and European oils for vehicles. While we recommend oil based on the manufacturer's guidelines, we will defer to the guest's choice.
      According to our sources, any oil can be used in the 2017 Ford Explorer.
      Take 5 sells conventional oil under the name "economy oil".

      To me it is worth the time and money to take care of my car. I know the brand oil they use (ha, ha) compared to the service station in my neighborhood which makes repairs their specialty, NOT oil changes. I went to the *************, ** store.. *** crew were friendly and courteous professionals ....that's what we all need friendly people wanting to service the customer. Shop looks clean, checked out my car. wipers, lights, brakes, battery - had only the oil changed for now. I had a very good experience. I will return to this Valvoline location. It is good to have a local place to go to for ************* needs.....coming back in Spring for a radiator flush and a clean cabin filter. I would recommend this place. I went the Friday after Thanksgiving 2023

      I paid for a complete oil change within 20 mins of leaving the hwy 58 chattanooga location my car began to smoke under the hood...I called the location and spoke with an employee to tell him my problem he gave me all kinds of reason as to why my car was smoking and then hung up on me. The next day less than 24 hours my car was blowing out white smoke and no oil on the dip stick..6-8 qt leaked out ..I called the manager and never received a call back...took my car to another valvoline location that help me they cleaned my car to get rid of all the oil that leaked all over and they told me they didn't see any problems with my car and that the hwy 58 location did a poor unacceptable job...I was told "Li" the store Manager would call but I never heard from them. I was told an investigation was going to be done but the flim footage the day (by assistant manager Elijah who hung up on me also)
      came in for service Was LOST! These guys were supposed to be trained professionals ...very very disappointing

      I went in for an oil change and break light. It took the assistant manager and two other employees to change the light bulb. I asked them was it working before I left and they said yes. Two days later I got pulled over for no break light. I took the vehicle to Firestone thinking it was something wrong with the whole back light itself. I get to Firestone and they told me that Valvoline put the wrong light in. I called Valvolines customer service line to let them know and they submitted a claim. They advised me that whatever I spent at Firestone that they will reimburse me for . I spent 70$ for the correct light bulb and labor. 3 days later I get a call from the manager from Valvoline and he told me I shouldn’t have took it to Firestone and that he will not be paying me for somebody else to fix something he could have done. Not sure why he thought I would bring the car back to his location if it took 3 guys and 20 minutes to put a light bulb back in. I was refunded the total amount for the light bulb through Valvoline but they laughed about the situation as if I’m not a paying customer with a concern. For me to have spoken to the district manager and a customer service representative I was shown little to zero respect for my concerns and being a valued customer. They refused to give me names or give me a corporate number so I can express the horrible customer service experience.

      Valvoline messed up my car and denied the claim to pay for what they did not properly replace. This is a terrible service and have no idea what they are doing and HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!!! I paid $125 for an oil change and had to pay an additional $200 at the dealership to replace a part that they did not properly put back!!!
