      10-13-23 had oil change. 10-30-23 6:01 pm went in because of oil leaking. Owner of franchisee says, "Yeah, so we might have stripped your oil cap, so what. Go get it fixed." Then, he told me to leave his shop and never return.I filed a claim with ********* **************** that evening at 6:44 pm. Corporate said Area Manager would investigate and return a call to me within 48-hours.On 11-02-23 at 9:50 am called Corporate. No one called me.On 11-02-23 at 11:05 am called Corporate. They say case is closed because Area Manager called the franchisee and he said everything was fine and no stripped cap and that he had to call the police to have me escorted off the premises.Complete fabrication. I called the police just to make sure they didn't call when I left. No call to that address from 6:01 pm-6:30 pm. the times I was there.FRANCHISEE OWNER is dishonest ...BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION ...Corporate didn't follow their practices either. MIDAS in town, says they can change the cap for me ...that was all Valvoline had to do. Never Ever Visit A Place That Is This Bad With Customers.

      Took our car to this business for an oil change. They stripped the drain plug on the oil pan so severely that the entire oil pan and gasket needed to be replaced. The manager said he would pay for the damage if we got him the receipt. We are out $310 now because he has refused to pay for the damage. We should have read the many bad reviews for this company before trusting our vehicle to them.

      Service people were not honest about windshield tank damage that occurred after adding it into the tank. When I got home, I noticed a leak in front of the driver's side. Immediately, my and I returned. Service person told us there was a leak there and not to worry it would not affect driving car. I wanted it repaired he mentioned going to Amazon for best deal avoiding waiting and the expense of the dealer. He stated a mechanic could replace it and gave me names of some local mechanics. I should have asked him did he notice it while they were filling it, but I trusted him too much to inquire. We thanked him and went home. Upon checking with Amazon I saw the cost of the entire tank was over $111.00. Next day my wife took the 6 year old car to the dealer and found out that there was a hole in the hose. It was repaired within 45 minutes costing us less than $60.00. My feeling is that if the mechanic made a mistake and a hole punctured the hose, then "man up" and tell me. Mistakes are made and I could get it fixed like I did. Not telling me shows a display of dishonesty which should not be tolerated in a place of business. By the way, I was there an exceptionally long time for an oil change and cabin filter replacement. Wonder why? Anyway, my family has been going there for years and now it seems we will seek out Jiffy Lubes or the 5-Minute oil change. I understand that these service people are young and hopefully, we were not taken advantage due to the fact that I was a senior citizen. Anyway, training on service of the product is important, but emphasizing respect and honesty is paramount. As in all good businesses honesty is the best policy. Have already written this for Yelp, so it has gone national in print.

      My engine seized due to lack of oil just 20 miles after Valvoline changed my oil. They installed the wrong filter and started the car without having oil in it. The mechanic's shop that inspected the engine printed a report from my car which shows that the reason for the seizure was due to lack of oil. Valvoline is claiming no responsibility. I reported this to the store manager and also the area manager. They chose to decline my claim prior to speaking to the repair shop and prior to reading the cars written report.

      Absolutely predatory practices - they just charged my wife $279.99 for an inspection. Supposedly they needed to change the fluids in the gearbox and do a tire rotation but did not get my wife's consent before doing so.

      . So when it was time to rotate my tires . They asked me to exit the vehicle . While I was waiting I heard noticed the young lady didn't know how to remove the cap to remove the lug nut and tire.. that's when I offered to get the key ..I noticed the young probably was new or had little experience with tire rotation...Maybe a day two later I noticed my tires were not feeling the same..so I waited because I thought it took time for my tires to adjust. However I started hearing noices whenever I would turn or back up
      So I took it to the one on stateline and quickly the manager looked at my tires and told me there several lugnuts missing on two of my tires and take it back to the valvoline that did the work because they are liable. So I'm scared because I've been driving around without lugnuts(Tires could have easily caused a serious accident or death) So I returned to valvoline on Goodman and I explained to the manager what happened he immediately told me I needed power steering fluid.I asked him why wasn't all my fluids topped off .He immediately told me I may have a leak . I told no I don't your workers failed to top my fluids off. After that he finally looked at tires and told me they were not responsible although my lugnuts were missing . I asked him well what happened to them. He told me he's not going to replace them I explained I was going to get my significant other so they can talk because he was being unprofessional as a manager..Instead of going home I decided to call corporate while sitting in my car talking to corporate 6 police officers approached my car at this point I'm fearing for my life . I asked them what did I do the lady officer just ask for my license. After they checked my license they left without an apology or explanation..I've been calling valvoline for two weeks now and they haven't replaced my lugnuts or returned my phone

      I went for an oil change September 11 Clips that attach the air intake cover we’re broken as they accessed the A/C filter which I told them before touching it not to do so.
      I only asked for the oil change. To avoid any issues since I previously had an issue with my battery after I left the previous visit at the hunters creek location causing to replace my battery.

      This made my car startle/shake as I sped and my car shut off and wouldn’t turn on as I explained to the rep. I sent the pictures of the area of damage
      I had to be towed since it has not being able to turn on. I contacted them after receiving an email saying they were trying to contact me to solve the issue and attempted emailing again and they never got back to me. I had to tie the affected area waiting for a replacement and never contacted back.

      My daughter went to this location to get an oil change, she was told that she needed a new battery. Within hours of purchasing the new battery she was stranded in the middle of the road.
      We had to pay to get her car towed to a local Firestone where they told us that the battery Valvoline gave was almost dead (we do have documentation of testing). We have tried to call multiple times but have yet to receive a call back. We opened a case with the corporate customer service ********* but have only been told that they will give us a new battery it is their policy. The customer service agent I spoke with said that they should not have any problem giving back our money and apologized when she had to tell me that they refused to give us our money back.
      We already had to buy a new battery from Firestone and if we were already given a bad battery from Valvoline why would we trust them again.

      Valvoline I’m actually appalled, just got off of the phone with the store manager for the second time after she said she would call me back by yesterday but she just so happened to be off. last week I went to get an oil change and it resulted in my oil pan having a hole and leaking and having to be towed from the valvoline on rt 31 while with my 4 year old daughter. multiple mechanics told me if I drove my car in I should’ve been able to drive out and if my oil pan was bad they should’not have even done the oil change. The manager also went on to tell me no one looked at my actual oil pan before they started the oil change but someone indeed told me I would need to get an oil pan soon! She also told me there must’ve already been an hole and the sludge blocking the hole must’ve been sucked out…doesn’t make sense. All I was looking for was my tow to be paid for but they refused after days of dealing with this, not good service at all. Will be posting everywhere and telling everyone I know to stay away from this valvoline
