Terrible with communication. I waited 30 mins to receive an oil change. They then stated that I needed to allow another vehicle ahead of me because they serve on a first come first service basis. They then directed a customer who was behind me to move to the bay on the right side of me. That customer was then next leaving me confused and quite upset. When I asked what happened to their first come first serve policy that stated that I would be next. I dont mind the waiting but when a company is not honoring their policy at my expense I find it rude and disrespectful. The waiting line for vehicles is always a mess. No communication and no respect. I give this location 0 stars. I will gladly take my business elsewhere next time.

In July 2023 I took my car here for an oil change. On Labor Day, I needed another oil change but people were coming over. So I did the oil change myself. After draining my oil I tried to put the oil plug in but it wouldn't tighten. I took the plug out and found something on it. I asked a friend and he said that it was a thread fix. Someone stripped the threads in my oil pan and put a thread fix in there to temporarily fix it. So I called Valvoline to set up a claim. First they sent the claim to the wrong Valvoline. Then they said they'd send it to the right one but with a rush. I called back a couple of times the next week but I apparently called too early for the manager. Then the manager finally called me and it sounded like they would work with me to fix my car. Then on 09/21/23 Valvoline called me and denied my claim because they couldn't "examine" my car. There never was an examination. They never asked me to bring it in. I think because my friend did a temporary fix they denied it because of that. There just is no honesty with this company.

I went here for an oil change before I left town for the holiday weekend. My car started to smell like something was burning the day after this was done. They did not replace the oil cap correctly which resulted in it breaking. All of the oil that was inside the vehicle leaked out. This could have created a larger issue within the engine. I had to replace the oil and oil filter AGAIN when I just spent over $100 to get it changed. I tried reaching out to this Valvoline location several times within the last year and did not hear a word.

On August 31st, 2023, I came in to change the oil in my SUV. Long story short, after the oil supposedly was "changed", I decided to recheck the oil level, and found out that it was higher than recommended. I decided to drain the excess oil myself only to find out that the oil was BLACK in color, meaning it was NOT changed during the service. My receipt from the shop showed that I paid for the oil and oil filter change, but when I checked the oil filter, it was not the Valvoline brand-name, but the ********** filter, which was installed during the previous oil change at a dealership. I was charged for oil and oil filter that were never changed!!! Had a short argument with the manager (*******), called the cops, and finally got my refund. The manager (*******) was the one that "poured" the oil into the engine during the oil change, but he said it was **** who performed the service on the "TOPSIDE", basically, throwing his employee/team-member under the bus and not taking responsibility for his own actions. I would not recommend their service to anyone. If you do decide to use their service, have a way to verify that the oil and the oil filter was indeed changed.

I had my first oil change with them in January. Driving on the highway a few months later there was screeching sound. I was startled by the noise. I pulled over. My skid plate had came down. I ducted taped the skid plate. Apparently ********* used screws that did not go with my car. Drove back to Valvoline their duct plate had caught my skid plate and it ruined the skid plate. The interim manager who is the regional manager *********************** told me as one time courtesy that they would order and replace the skid plate . I found his tone and demeanor very condescending while he advised me that he did not think it was Valvoline fault, despite my previous oil change on on top of all the missing screws that caused my skid plate to fall. I would give this man one star. This has been the worst regional manager that I have met in my thirty years. ***** after hearing nothing from him for three weeks. I called and the new manager informed me that the ***** never left any information about my case at all. ***** he was kind enough to order my new skid plate and advised me when it arrived. he did replace it. I do appreciate the new team at the shop but avoid ***** at all cost.

The Valvoline oil change on Hover stripped oil my oil plug and installed a temporary plug. Oil plugs get stripped when they are over-torqued or cross-threaded. They told me to take it to *****'s Automotive, which I did. It sat there for three days and *****'s told me Valvoline told him not to fix it. No one has looked at the oil pan and the temp plug is still there, but the manager (****) told me to bring it to him so he could "try and fix it" which means a temporary fix that will leak and eventually fail. My oil pan needs to be replaced and I can't get a written response from ******* as to why the truck they broke isn't being repaired. This is most unprofessional shop I've ever heard of.

On 5/17/23 I had the oil changed on my daughter's 2014 **** Escape. Over the next few weeks I started to notice spots on my driveway (which was resealed last summer) which became larger and larger. I put the car up on stands and saw oil leaking like a sieve from the bottom. I pulled the drop pan off and it appeared the oil was leaking from the bottom of the oil filter. I checked to see if the filter was tight and I had to turn it three full turns to tighten it. I checked the oil and it was over 2 quarts low. I put new oil in it and brought it back to Valvoline on 8/1/23 and told the Manager (********) what happened and asked for a refund of the prior service, a new oil service to be performed and the oil which was all over the bottom of the car cleaned off. He and his techs checked the car and insisted the leak was coming from the turbo. Once they replaced the filter, the oil stopped leaking. Although ******** said he cleaned off the car it was still covered in oil. They changed the oil and filter for no charge but would not refund the previous service. Afterwards I brought the car to **************************************** for service to check for leaks and have the oil cleaned off. As per **** Service, there were no leaks, only only all over the place due to a poor oil change. The drop pan needed to be replaced due to it being soaked in oil. My bill was $308.75. I understand that people make mistakes, however you must own up to your mistakes and make it right. I feel that Valvoline did not and therefore I would never use them again.

Daughter in law took car for AC repair to **********. They looked at car and told her it would be 500 dollars for a new compressor and that it was out of freon and not turning. Took it to another mechanic and compressor was turning and one cap to freon system missing the other found on top of engine. They lied about compressor and it appears let out the freon.

I went there today at the store in Peoria, AZ on 75th ave and Cactus. They got me an oil change and I got home a few hours later the oil was just leaking in my driveway. I tried to call the store, I was sent to customer service and asked me if I wanted to place a claim for someone to call me. No answer. I can't drive my car now because it smells like burnt toast and I will have to get it towed. If I could do 0 stars I would.
