      Like everywhere these days, Valvoline is just out for a dollar and will take advantage of anyone. Sent my teenager to get an oil change, because she needs the experience. Last time she went to Take5 and did not like the service. So went with her to the. Valvoline in Central to show her how to go about it. Today she visited the location in Powdersville alone. They saw her coming and tried to get all they could out of her. They convinced her to get a new air filter. Fine, I would have gotten one and put it in myself but whatever. Then they told her one high beam bulb was burnt out. They removed the bulb after she called me and declined a new bulb. She brought it home, we inspected it for signs of damage. Nothing, so we reinstalled it. Miracle, it worked. An over priced oil change cost me $30 extra dollars for an air filter to give my child a valuable lesson in how not to get taken advantage of by letting her get taken advantage of. So glad they didn’t get her for more.

      When they switched over from masterlube, I came here once no complaints. Great service. I was recently here. Horrible horrible service. Different staff. Please do not go here. First, they said my car would take 15 to 20 minutes for a simple oil change. 50 minutes later, I was out the door. As soon as I got in my car, I knew there was something wrong. My car was shaking, and when I turned, it made a grinding noise that wasn't there before. I unfortunately did not have time to go back that day because I had to be at work. I went back the next day, and they checked out my engine it was shaking so bad they said the dipstick barely had any oil on it. As soon as he opened the hood he knew there was something wrong. He also asked me if I had warranty on the car. Now my car is a 2019. Almost brand new 33k miles on it. They finally got me in the bay an hour later. Another guy checked my oil and said the bottom was dry. he put oil in it but my car is still shaking and now my check engine light is on. I now have to take my car to the dealer and pay 159 out of my own pocket to make sure there was no damage to the engine. I talked to the assistant manager and he said they wouldn't be able to cover the 159 unless they are at fault. I told the guy you guys are at fault he pretended like I was making it up. I also have limited time on my hands so this is very inconvenient for me. I have an appt in the next day to bring it in to the dealer and I not even driving it because I'm afraid of any other damage. I also wanted to share the time I was there, there were two other complaints. The guy before me in line was also back for the second time because they put too much oil in! He said his check engine came on. Come to find out after talking to him he had the same technician as mine the day before. They all did not know what to do or how much to take out. This customer said he isn't coming back here. These guys are not properly trained it's scary. I've never experienced such a place.

      I came from out of state and stayed in town overnight when my car developed a problem. I was easily able to get an appointment the next morning, and my car was fully examined. I was told that I could drive home safely, or that they could do a $900 repair. I appreciate the honesty, and the fact that I wasn't even charged for having my car checked out. Would definitely make this my permanent mechanic if I lived in the area.

      I had my oil changed at this location and after I left they DID NOT latch my hood correctly. I was going 65mph down the highway and my hood flew up, causing me to almost crash and potentially die. Luckily I strapped my hood down enough to be able to take country roads home. This is the first and last time I'll ever go here.
      I could've died and yet they denied my claim of a new hood. This store is pathetic and it's no wonder they're struggling in sales.

      After receiving an oil change from this facility my check engine light came on. When I took the vehicle into the shop they asked me where I received my last oil change because my valve cover had been broken and pieces of metal were floating around my engine and caused my 5k worth of damage. I've been getting the run around from the shop and Valvoline corporate for 2 weeks. They sent the shop manager to the dealership and when he called me completely lied about what the dealership said. The dealer told me that this is the only way this damage could have happened. Don't go to this or any other Valvoline ever.

      This place is a complete joke. The technicians walk around like zoombies. Give you excuse after excuse about the service or wait time. Tell you it is first come first serve. They told me about 45 mins for an inspection, but then take someone else before me, after I had been waiting for over a half hour. Four technicians, four bay spots, but yet three on them working on one car.

      Had my oil changed and right away I started noticing oil on my garage floor. Car never leaked oil before! Went back there to tell them to check and make sure all was ok, and told them it never leaked before oil change. They looked at it and said everything is good and they think it’s the main seal leaking. Again I told them it never leaked before the oil change. Went out and bought main seal leak additive for the car. Still leaks. Finally went under car myself and it’s leaking right under drain plug. And plug had oil on the bottom of it. Gave the plug a half of turn, which wasn’t hard to do. I didn’t want to over tighten it. Drove car around for a half hour and parked it until morning. Looked in the morning and not a drop of oil on floor. I’m mad because I can see mistakes happening, but to go back there and they tell me everything is fine gets me really mad. Especially when I got underneath car and saw oil on plug. I went to valvoline in Cape Coral Fl on DelPrado

      I brought my car in March of 2022. While I was on the phone with my mom I took my car for a oil change and a former employee had told me that a some things on my car were needed to be updated both on my car and in the computer. At first I was hesitant because I didn't want to be broke yet again but i said yes. They replaced a silver part between my radiator and the front of my car. I do not know the name of it but I can take a picture and send it to you or bring it in person. A couple days later I noticed it was smoking when it was getting cold at night and when it was cold in the morning. I called them several times and told them. The lady who I talked to said I had to have proof when I called. At the time I couldn't get proof because I was living paycheck to paycheck. Now I went to Mr.**** to get a alignment and 2 new tires. I asked the guy could he have his mechanic to check on my radiator. He said yes they could. I came back and he said that my radiator hose has a hole it the upper and lower hose. I asked the gentleman could it be caused by Valvoline taking the sliver thing out and replacing it? He said it could be because I saw the signs a couple days after they replaced it. I have the proof and they still not taking responsibility.

      I arrived at Valvoline Store #GJ0008 on 12/28/2022 at approximately 11:30Am to get a 15 minute oil change. I pulled my car in to the stall guided by an employee. I noticed from withing the vehicle that the 21 year old was unable to unscrew the oil filter. Several employees including Ms. Harris were also aware. She even asked him, "Did you get it?" He continued to forcibly attempt to take the oil filter off with some sort of tool. None of the more experienced employees helped. The coolant line busted and that is when several employees gathered around. I got out of my vehicle to see what happened and took several pictures of the engine. Miguel and Harris told me they were going to push my car out of the area. I told them not to touch anything. I told them the car needs to be taken to VW North. They made a phone call to Shawn. Later to find out that Shawn is the Area Manager. Shawn told Miguel to fix my vehicle. Miguel is not a certified mechanic. I had a conversation with MIguel. He said he could fix it. I left Valvoline at 6:30Pm on 12/28/2022 after Jimmy the manager of the store showed up at aroud 4:30Pm. I had to forcibly tell Jimmy that my vehicle needed to be towed to VW. Finally, Shawn decides to call and attempts to tell me that they will fix the car. Unbelievable but true. I came to Valvoline with a vehicle. I left without a vehicle. (towed to VW) I was without my vehicle for 6 days due to Valvoline's late call to Volkswagen make a payment on 12/31/2022.
      I will never visit another Valvoline Store again. The Area Manager and Manager of Store #GJ0008 simply ignored me. They never attempted to talk to me. They are responsible and liable for how the situation was handled and they failed at their job. I have not been contacted and I have been ignored by Valvoline without any form of compensation for my time. I hope this is not what Valvoline Headquarters expects from their employees. I have asked for compensation. Nothing.... Nothing....Nothing.....BE AWARE
