Unadvertised shortage of inspectors in *********, **. Only two locations offering State Inspection as of 11/5/2022 - ****************************************************** and ************************************************************************ arrived at my local Valvoline 30 mins. before opening - waited to have my car serviced. Pull through the garage and was informed that this location wasn't doing vehicle inspections and that only two locations were doing inspections in the *********, ** area. Note: this has not been the case in years past.I hurry over to the closest of the two, pull up to the location, and speak with one of the employees. Very straightforward, he informs me that it would be a 4-hour wait in order to get an inspection... I half expected this to be the case - arriving 12 minutes after opening to one of two locations in my city providing inspections. Nonetheless, I was still taken aback by the inability of Valvoline to provide such a fundamental service. This review isn't so much about the service I received (or lack thereof, however, the two employees I spoke with were apologetic and willing to explain the situation), but more so an inditement on the company itself for lack of information and failing to provide for perhaps the highest-demand vehicle service. To have 9 locations in the *********, ** area and only provide state inspection services at two locations is not good, nor convenient service. To not warn potential customers on your website of said shortage, while not necessarily false marketing, is nonetheless unfortunate as uninformed people would just assume the service would be provided. To have to drive to a location and speak with an employee just trying to do their job in order to get an explanation for a service you lack is a bad experience. While I understand not advertising the shortage of inspectors for fear of losing service, ultimately, you end up driving away potential customers like myself due to this type of inconvenience.

Had a terrible experience with local franchise store in St. Peters, Missouri where the unprofessional manager was belligerent, rude and disrespectful yelling at me not to touch my own grill on the front of my vehicle to secure it as it was about to fall off. When I tried to explain why I got out of my vehicle, and reminding her it is my vehicle, she cut me off and had zero remorse. It escalated to the point where I just left. I reached out to Valvoline's Customer Care online and placed a complaint on 6/14, 7/18 and 8/18. All 3 times I was "escalated" to an Area Manager named "Justin" who never contacted me. I was so frustrated I sent a certified letter with all my chat transcripts to their Corporate office c/o CEO Sam M******* in Lexington KY. Of course, no response. At the end of the day, I can be your best advertisement or your worst. I am choosing the later and will continue to share my horrible experience to others so they are educated in the hopes of never providing their business to this company. Thank you.

I got an oil change at fond du lac's valvoline and the next day, my car "seized". They are denying all allegations and blaming me for the history of oil changes I received from them, I DID NOT GET ALL OIL CHANGES THROUGH THEM!!!!! I went to valvoline only when I needed a quick oil change. NEVER AGAIN.

Our records indicate that this guests claim was denied after a complete investigation. The findings of the dealership indicate that the issues this guest is experiencing are not related to services received at our facility. The regional management teams have aligned in this decision and will not be proceeding further regarding this claim.

I am at the Florissant location and myself along with four other customers have been sitting outside in line waiting! the workers are here they’re trying to assure up they will take care of us and making sure that we know that they are waiting to get into the building to start their work. management has not open the door and these workers out here in the cold waiting. Customers are leaving and you are losing money and customers. we are trying to get service so that we can get on with our day it is 9am and the damn door of the store isn’t open. These workers deserve to be paid if they’re here on time this is highly unprofessional.

Completely dissatisfied. Went for an oil change on Thursday and had oil all over my driveway that evening. Upon going back to their services center on Friday, I was told "someone" spilled oil over my skid plate and that they cleaned up the "mess". I have never had a oil issue before and Valvoline either did not clean up their mess, or did not tighten up the filter/bolt from their oil change. I was not offered any explanation as to why there was spilt oil and was rushed out of the center and told to come back if the issue persisted. HIGHLY DISPLEASED and would NOT recommend.

I am very disappointed on how my last service went on October 16, 2022: Went for an oil change/transmission fluid replacement and was told my back brake light was out. I gave permission to replace the bulb. The technician was back working on that light for some time, was even asked by another technician if he needed help, he declined. After several minutes later, he informed me that it was not the bulb that was the issue, that it maybe a wiring issue. Gave me the new bulb. I thought nothing of it. When I was done, I paid my bill, $231.89 in total. Left, went shopping, went to open the back to place my bags, and that is when I noticed the broken tail light housing. There was this hole, looked like the technician tried prying it off instead of removing ALL the nuts and bolts. I called immediately, was given the excuse from 2 different people that the mngr was away until Monday to review the tape. That someone would call me on Monday, No call was given. Several calls later, I was informed yesterday that they are denying my claim that this piece was broken prior to me arriving to their establishment, Which is a LIE! To say I am beyond upset is an understatement. I was going here faithfully for my work on my car. NOT ANYMORE! So beware. Watch whoever is working on your car b/c they are not accountable for their technicians actions, cameras or no cameras. I run a business and I know how it is to be accountable. I wasn't even told he broke it let alone that he did not replace the bulb, I had my son in law look at it, and that new bulb that I was given to me was put in and the brake light worked. Had I taken my car to get wiring checked it would've been a waste of money and time. NEVER AGAIN!!

Valvoline in ******, ** (behind **** *****) is a corrupt and unethical business! They are both incompetent and unethical thieves!!! They cost me over $800 in repairs due to their intentional tampering/messing with my fuel pump and gasket sealing system. As soon as I left their business after getting an oil change, I drove up the 410 hwy and the violent jerking/shaking started immediately. I turned around at the top of the 410 and drove back down the 410 to this corrupt ****** Valvoline location. I tell them what I'm experiencing and that this issue (which I absolutely had no issue with my 4Runner prior to them doing the oil change), did not exist and am adamant that they did something to my car. I receive absolutely nothing! Nothing but incompetence, denial, and zero help from this staff and their incompetent supervisor on duty. This guy was completely useless and has the audacity to laugh it off as if I'm making this stuff up. I explained to him that I was leaving for a trip the next day and that I needed to make sure that my car was going to make it to my destination - two states away. Again, this complete idiot supervisor, has the audacity to laugh my situation off. He comes up with inane excuses and denies all responsibility! There was absolutely nothing wrong with my 4Runner! I had taken meticulous care of this car ever, had it serviced yearly ever since I owned it. The incompetent female that actually conducted the oil change, who was down in the pit, as well as the other unethical punk that was helping her, both seemed to know exactly what I was explaining to all of them! I specifically noticed how they both looked at each other a certain way as I asked them what they done to my car to make it jerk violently. No reply! They deliberately messed with my car/engine, honestly, because of the sports teams license plates that I have on my car! That's how juvenile and hokey that these punks are at the ******, ** Valvoline location are. Karma to all of them.

Managers Alejandro R******** and Austin moved me out of line when it was my turn in the bay and made me wait all over again when it was my turn, behind more cars after I had already waited in line for my turn and pulled a white woman in my spot to give her immediate service in my place, of course, I am black and they told me it was their policy, so RACISM is the valvoline policy not a good look I will never use them again I hate racists.

Deny, deny, deny ! That's what this Valvoline oil change shop on *********** in *********** will do if they ever damage your car. Their tech spilled oil all over my ***** engine while filling and even put the filter on wrong. Oil was gushing from the filter and I had to bring it back 2 days later to replace it after I saw oil all over my driveway. Now my belts are squeaking and the service manager refuses to replace it. He insists that the squeaky is coming from somewhere else and Valvoline had nothing to do with it. For my car, it was just the belts, but for future customers, it may be a loose plug they did not tighten or something else that will damage the engine even more. Don't ever go to this place !I just had the pulleys and belts replaced a year ago so I know it's not that and the squeaking was not there until Valvoline spilled oil all over my engine. Regardless of the facts, the store manager denies any liability. For their part, they did try to spray belt cleaner on it to see if it will clear the squeaking, but it made it worse. The belt cleaner spread the oil even further and now the car sounds like it's going to fall apart. Even after his own technician witnessed the squeaking getting worse after the belt cleaner was sprayed, the store manager still insists it's coming from somewhere else and it's not Valvoline's fault. I had to rinse the belt cleaner off with soap and water myself to get rid of some of the squeaking but it's still there.

They broke my dipstick which left it stuck in the engine. They told me th3y weren't liable for breaking it. So we attempted to get it out with a screw which didn't work. There was no manager at the time so I came back Monday morning and they took a drill and chiseled the remaining dipstick out. Doing so could leave shavings in My engine which could kill my car. I asked them to write up and sign what they had just done to my vehicle when they wrote it us it was 2 sentences saying the damage done was PRIOR to service which wasn't truthful and then placed blame on my husband for trying to remove the stick after they broke it and basically said there was nothing they could do. When reimbursed for buying another dipstick the manager Johnathon said he was giving himself a pay out and paying me back so it was under the table. Also while drilling my dipstick out he talked to me about Dearing for his life in the military and watching his buddy be decapitated by a humV.. I have no idea his purpose for me telling me that based on my situation. All in all I will never return for an oil change and will be holding them legally responsible if damage to my engine occurs after the drilling done to remove the dipstick they tried to force out while the car was still hot
