    Onpoint warranty solutions was the chosen warranty provider for my GE Opal Ice Maker. This Ice Maker started to make increasingly louder noises and failed after 9 months of usage. I reached out in detail to describe what was going on and advised that I would like to start a warranty claim. Days later their only response was to advise me to clean the machine using a descaler. I have descaled the machine, used vinegar solutions, filled only with distilled water, and the ice machine will not stay on or make ice. I have sent 6 unanswered emails to OnPoint asked to escalate the issue and take the next steps.
    OnPoint has not answered any of my emails and is not taking this issue seriously. I am leaving this review to hopefully save future customers from an unsavory experience. Please avoid this company at all costs and let the home company know that this is not a reputable warranty provider.

    Staining to my furniture the black paint is coming off the dining table. Its two years old and guardian says they do not cover. Stay away from this company.

    This company is a scam!! How are you still in business!! I purchased an extended warranty for my refrigerator and the ice maker went out , all my food froze on the refrigerator side and water was pouring from inside my refrigerator and from under it. I called on Monday July 24, 2023, 1:37 pm and spoke with Owen who told me someone from J** ********* would be out on today Wednesday July 26, between 8am- 12. noon. I got up and called the warranty company again to confirm appointment, and they told me there was an appointment scheduled for another two weeks out!!!!! Then I asked for a supervisor because that was unacceptable. The supervisor was SOOOOOO RUDE!! She informed me that reps are not allowed to give schedule dates and she does not know why he gave me a date. I then proceeded to ask her about my food reimbursement which is clearly stated in my contract that you will reimburse up to $250 as long as I had receipts which I do because I just went to grocery store a week before it went out. She became very nasty and proceeded to argue with me about this clause in my contract and said I WOULD NOT BE REIMBURSED FOR MY FOOD AND HUNG UP ON ME!! Your company is a disgrace and you are praying on innocent consumers with your lies and deception. I want my refrigerator repaired and I want my money back for all of my damaged food I had to throw out.

    *****SCAMMERS****IF I COULD PUT NO STARS I WOULD. I HAVE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE ROOM PLACE AND GUARDIAN FOR MONTHS NOW. ROOMPLACE TELL ME TO CALL GUARDIAN AND GUARDIAN TELL ME TO CALL ROOMPLACE BECAUSE APPARENTLY MY WARRANTY WAS NOT SETUP RIGHT. AFTER MONTHS OF BACK AND FORTH CALLING, IM STILL LEFT WITH BROKEN FURNTURE THAT I CANT PROPERLY USE. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT; MY *** FRAME BROKE AND IN THE MIDST OF ME MOVING IT OUT MY ROOM IT BUMPED MY ***** AND THE DRAWERS TILTED AND BROKE. I WAS TOLD BY THE ROOMPLACE, "DAMAGES CAUSED BY MOVING MERCHANDISE IS NOT COVERED UNDER ACCIDENTAL COVERAGE." SO BECAUSE I MOVED THE *** AND IT HIT THE ****** THE ***** IS NOT COVERED! WHAT IS CONSIDERED "ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE". THE ***** WAS NOT MOVED BUT BECAUSE IT WAS HIT BY SOMETHING ELSE THAT WAS MOVED ITS NOT COVERED. I PAID FOR A WARRANTY THAT I CANT USE AND NOW MY MONEY WILL JUST GO DOWN THE DRAIN. I THINK THE ROOMPLACE AND GUARDIAN ARE BIG SCAMMERS

    Very dissatisfied with customer service and the claim time. Filed a claim on January 3rd 2023 and its may 16th and still waiting on a second technician to look at furniture. Paid extra for this service as a protection and piece of mind and got nothing but headaches. Filed a claim and was sent a cleaning kit. Didnt work. Tech came out and couldnt repair. Waited another month to be notified another tech will be sent. Still waiting. All this time with damaged furniture. Whats the point in getting this protection? Going on 6 months and no resolution.

    The first month of purchasing the home warranty, my washer started leaking. It took them 3 weeks to call out a plumber. I finally took it upon myself to find a YouTube video to deal with it. Next, my AC condenser went out. I called an hvac company to fix it myself due to it being 90+ degrees indoors and working from home. They now won't cover it. It's a scam, stay away!!!!

    After reviewing the customer's ticket, our support team concluded the HVAC claim was denied due to the fact that the customer repaired the product prior to contacting us to report the issue. According to the terms and conditions the customer must contact us to report the issue before repairing the HVAC unit. 


    We apologize that we are not able to resolve this case in the manner
    expected, but we are bound by the terms and conditions when resolving
    claims. Thank you for keeping us aware of our customers concerns.

    I have given this company 1 star. If I could I would give them zero stars. We purchased a $4000 couch from Rooms to go and the cushion is caving in. We also purchased accidental coverage for stains. I have been trying for 7 days straight to file a claim. Their chat button does not work, and they will not pick up the phone. When I try to make a claim online, it tells me they cannot find us in the system. I have contacted rooms to go to assist, but so far no luck. Our couch is not even 1 year old!!

    Purchased a warranty on a stackable washer / dryer. The dryer quit drying within a couple of weeks of using it. It’s been almost 5 months and it is still not working. They have sent multiple people out several times costing me time away from work and hundreds of dollars. They supposedly finally sent a check to cover the whole unit and sent an “ETA of check” which was 5 days ago. Now they tell me it could take 30 days. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Scam, horrible customer service, whatever you want to call it. They need to be exposed, lose money, and shut their doors.

    ************* Can't get them on phone at all. They make it difficult to file an online claim. I sent pictures and they asked for more. Still no response. I'm angry we spent the money for this. They need to be held accountable for their garbage customer service.

    Absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is a literal joke my claim will be in for almost 1 month and I can never speak to a human, the chat does not work, and no one responds to the emails. You spend all this money on furniture and insurance on it for the insurance to not work? I don't understand. zero stars. do not recommend. I will never purchase insurance through them again. I'll take my chances on the manufacturer's warranty.
