Humana has owed me a $2000.00 reimbursement for over 2 years. They've sent 2 checks out but the keep sending them to my dentist who doesn't deal with insurances.
      My dentist sends them back.
Humana has personally called my dentist and asked them to send certain paperwork (twice) which they did. They faxed copies of my entire file to Humana. The bill was paid by me the date of service, May 26, 2021. They say they need more paperwork but my dentist won't waste time on them anymore.
Probably what Humana was hoping for.

I was going to A**** ******, they're very expensive and wanted all this money out of pocket, so I had an absess on one of my teeth, my fiancee found H******* ****** and first time customers they didn't charge for office visits just whatever work they did, so I called Humana, the next week to see if they're in network I was told they are so I didn't immediately go back to them but several months later I did to get work done, so the dentist sent them a bill for $97.00 they paid it when I went back several months later the first bill was $195.00 they denied the payment, but I wasn't aware they denied the payment until I called to see when I would get the payment just to find out they are out of network, but I didn't find that out until 01/22/2024, employee said she created a ticket and would get answers for me and promised to call me back that was over a week ago, so the person I talked to today informed me that she had left messages on the account but never called and informed me of anything I am so over Humana I am 70 years old on a fixed income and they have put me in some debt, that I can't afford and may have to try and find a job to pay these doctors that they lied about.

Two months ago I called and told Centerwell Pharmacy not to send out any medications because I’m changing insurance company’s but before that I had told them not to send me any meds over 20/30.00 I couldn’t afford it . Of course my card is on there and they wont let me take it off the site . Anyway they’re agitating and sending out 100 , 500 , anything over a 100.00 …what ? A customer supposed to have that right to say no ! I even went on the medicine site and archived the meds they still sent them out . I’m sick n tired of Himana . !

Outreach was made to CenterWell Pharmacy (CWP), and it was determined that on December 12, 2023, you updated your high copay limit to $30.00 for prescription orders. Any orders over the $30.00 limit, an email was sent to you requesting approval due to the copay amount. On January 06, 2024, you called CWP and requested that no more medications be sent to you after order number #######
In regard to your credit card, it has been inactivated. Your prescriptions are able to be inactivated or transferred to a pharmacy of your choice.

Ran out of meds while traveling. Centerwell quoted a Medicare rule about ordering early. I explained that I would be OUT OF THE COUNTRY without a way to call them or order via access to a computer….albeit any order while I was out of the country would be early and it would go to my home!
Without concern for my health, CenterWell, along with Medicare Part D rules, chose the nasty bureaucratic route to dissuade me. I hate these people and I’m certain they are doing it for profit and not for the health of the customer. Lousy reasoning, lousy customer service!

I tried for months to cancel my personal dental coverage from Humana. No matter what number I called I was always blocked by an automated system from reaching a live person. Once, I did reach a live person and he transferred me back to the automated system that could not help me. I had to resort to a stop payment with my bank to keep Humana from debiting my account monthly.

The OTC MERCHANDISE via centerwell pharmacy is always out of stock and there are no substitute items that match the out of stock items. The call center in another country cannot tell you when they will be available or even advise you on the return policy if items don’t fit, are defective or don’t arrive. The items shown in their online catalog do not give any description of product concerning size dimensions, product ingredients, etc. poor poor customer service and agents are not knowledgeable re products available

      CenterWell Pharmacy
      1. Terrible customer service. Spoke to 3 agents by phone (only 1 was helpful) and to 1 by chat (who intentionally and abruptly ended chat without notice). Took about 3 hours total
      2. Hidden policies. Policies aren’t communicated anywhere in online ordering system, like limits on # of items. You can order a large quantity, order is confirmed, then later you receive cancellation with no explanation. I had many cancelled orders and only learned why after contacting them.
      3. Awful practices. Website clearly says that OTC spending allowance needs to be used by December 31. We placed our final online order on December 26, 2023, to use up remaining allowance for 2023 before December 31. CenterWell shipped the items in January 2024 and deducted from 2024 allowance. So we lost part of our allowance from 2023, because they didn't deduct the orders placed in 2023 from our 2023 allowance, and we now are already down in our 2024 allowance, even though we have not ordered anything in 2024! The website clearly says that funds do not roll over after December 31, but evidently CenterWell can deduct at their discretion. The only answer I received pointed to wording available ONLY in the print catalog that shows a December 20 deadline for submitting orders by MAIL. The wording is not found on online ordering site NOR does it say it applies to online orders. Following is the exact wording from mail-order catalog that customer service used to explain why our online shopping order placed in 2023 was deducted from the 2024 balance (capitalization added by me):
"For all members: MAIL AND FAX
Due to added time to receive your request by MAIL, we encourage you to allow extra time when placing your order. If you have a monthly allowance, submit your order by the 20th of each month. If you have a quarterly allowance, submit your order by the 20th of the last month of your allowance period. Last month of quarters are March, June, September, and December."

Outreach was made to Humana Pharmacy, and it was confirmed that you received $200.00 per quarter in 2023 for OTC benefits. Unused benefits rolled over to the next quarter and would expire on December 31, 2023. You did not place an order until November 2023 and you had $800.00 of your 2023 benefits to use in the fourth quarter. You used all of your 2023 OTC benefits and order number 498378961 used your 2024 first quarter OTC benefits of $165.00. These funds have been reversed as of January 18, 2024, as a one-time courtesy and you have the full $200.00 first quarter OTC benefits to use.
In regard to orders being cancelled was because there is a quantity limit of three per quarter on item number 577.

My wife's premium for Humana part D drug plan was 77.30 per month, At the end of November, 2023 the total cost for her prescriptions was $92.60. With no changes in her prescriptions for the month of December. The total for the year should be under $100.00. She paid $927.60 for the year in premiums. Humana paid out nothing. Not one single penny. Her prescriptions for the year 2024 remain the same which means Humana will once again pay nothing for her prescriptions. What has changed is her new premium, which is $108.60 per month for a total of $1,303.20 for the year for which we can expect nothing once again. When I called to ask why we received over a 40% price increase. I was told increased drug costs was the reason. That is not and was not the reason because the generic drug prices for my wife have not changed.
I have a similar story since my price also went up to $108.60 for NEXT TO NO COVERAGE FOR A COST OF $2,606.40. Since they have increased our premiums every year I see no reason to not expect the same. I will say goodbye to Humana and you should do the same. BUYER BEWARE!

Very bad dental custom service! Almost 4 months past, they still cannot give me an answer about their denied services which were approved in their predeterminations. Below is my long story.
Before my dental implant procedure, I received two predeterminations from Humana (CN-*****8643 and *****5406). Both approved the service D6057 (CUSTOM FABRICATED ABUTMENT - INCLUDES PLACEMENT) and D6058 (ABUTMENT SUPPORTED PORCELAIN/CERAMIC CROWN) for tooth number 5 and 30.
On 12/1/2022, the first stage of the implant procedure - SURGICAL PLACEMENT OF IMPLANT (service code D6011) was done for both teeth number 5 and 30. I paid the dentist based on the predetermination prices.
Before the second stage of the procedure, the dental office requested another predetermination (CN-****0839). This predetermination also approved the coverage for D6057 and D6058.
On 4/5/2023, I got the second stage of the procedure done (service code D6057 and D6058) and paid the dentist based on the predetermination.
Four months later, the dental office told me Humana denied the services D6057 and D6058 for the tooth number 5 and asked me to pay the denied services. However, the same services for tooth number 30 got paid.
On 9/15/2023, I called Humana and filed an appeal case – why you denied the services you approved in your predeterminations. I was told that they will send the claim back to their claim department to reprocess the claim. In the following months, I called them at lease 7 time to check the progress of my case. Each time, their customer support personal told that they will check and will call me back next day or in a couple of days. But I never received their calls.
