      Center well is awful… I’ve been w/humana for 9 days and I want out! I called re Rx & the representative is obviously off shore I heard chickens in background! They could not provide an address. Made me very uncomfortable— so disappointed!! Humana shame on you for worrying profits over service!!

      Worst customer service. A new policy for a Medicare supplement with Humana was written up for me in November, to begin this month ( January) Coverage never started as promised, so I called the agent who sold me the policy.
      He said to call customer service, who (after asking for all of my data ( including a policy number, which I was never given- which was the reason for my cal) had me transferred to yet another department.
      Same song and dance there. That department then explained that my policy had been rejected - but I told them that I never received any communication about that.
      Then I was passed on to yet another department called underwriting, who after asking me again for all of my information, and said that my HMO had been denied. What HMO?
      I explained that it was denied because I had never applied for one, but had applied for a Medicare supplement.
      ***She told me that I should call the first agent I started with in this process!!! When i explained that I had already spoken with him, I asked her to call him and call me back. She agreed but didn’t call me back.
      When I decided to call him again myself, he didn’t answer the phone so I left a long message explaining everything, and don’t think that I will hear back.
      So my doctors appointment today wasn’t covered and I immediately signed up with another company.
      It’s remarkable that these folks can stay in business. I felt like I was in a time warp since I was being sent from person to person to person, I thought those days were over.
      It was really like the comedic skit when I was sent back to the first person!! The only reason I’m not laughing is because I’ll have to pay for my doctors appointment.
      Needless to say, I set up a plan with another company.

      The worst! And I don't think they're very honest. They do everything they can to keep from paying.
      I purchased an oxygen generator and sent them the forms and back up on November 10, 2023. On January 8, 2024 I was told they never got the claim. I don't believe them. They do everything they can to keep from paying. They won't take forms by fax or by email, Their website is impossible to navigate and get what you want. I kept looking for the claim form for durable medical equipment, and you can get everything but the form. Lots of information but nothing that leads to getting what you need in your hand. I spoke to a woman who helped me get a form. But I didn't think it was the right form. She ensured me that it was and our supervisor confirmed. I didn't trust Humana so I asked for written conformation and they can't send an email, or a letter. This is how humana insurers that they are customer service people do not provide standard business services in order to help their customers.
      A pox on these insurance companies that make it impossible to put in a claim.

      Whenever I renew my HIV meds they put it on hold.There was one time I waited 3 days with no meds.Last week I had to wait 1 day with out a med to take.In 25 years I have never had this poblem with Blue Cross or Cigna.Do they understand skipping an HIV med can is detremental to your health
      I feel like they dont care and dont want to fill my HIV prescription.By the way I call Walgreens a week in advance to renew my presription and Humana can still makes me skip my medication while I wait for there approval
      As I write this I am on the phone trying to complain and was disconnected.

      Despicable! SSI gave them incorrect date of death, so the reversed all approved payments. Ok, so when SSI notified them of the correct date, did they pay whom they had previously paid, oh no!!! Almost a year after my father has passed my family is still having to jump through hoops even though they know it’s an easy fix. In fact I had one employee tell me to just let it go to collections. Now, since SSI has corrected the issue and has reported it to Humana, they are still denying claims. Stating they never received allocation on paying these claims???? Is this insane??? Why do you need more authorization to pay companies that were already paid by you but because SSI messed up you are now totally incompetent in doing your due diligence to these companies????

      it was determined that the Centers of Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) are showing Mr. Akin with a date of death incorrectly. If Social Security Administration (SSA) has already been notified and has made the corrections, it can take CMS six to eight weeks to update Mr. Akin’s information and CMS will automatically notify Humana to update this information. Unfortunately, Humana’s systems cannot be updated at this time. We must wait on CMS.
      In regard to Mr. Akin’s claims for the time period of February 01, 2022, through January 28, 2023, these were reviewed by the Humana claims team and reprocessed for payment.

      I am a member of HumanaI a since 7 years
      they took my balance of HB that left over from from 2023 by deactivating my card in January 24 after they told me the unused balance roles over to the next month. They could simply not put money in the card per their new policy and let me use the balance from 2023. They stole my money.
      Where is my left over?
      Bad policy !

      Humana is the absolute WORST company to deal with on a provider level. If I could give them a ZERO STAR I would. They reversed 3 payments from our bank account and I have been given the run around about, talked to 6 different people at three different departments. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused. There is a language barrier every time you call them, which makes it even harder to get clear information. We as providers are considering dropping them from our network.

      Humana has been nothing short of being the worst Medicare insurance in the world. In a medical economy that everything is money they make worst for the low income people. Me being in the middle of a heart transplant and having many out pocket cost go with that they took my flex account From 1500.00 to 250.00 what am I supposed to do with that. Nothing that won't even pay for my glasses this year. Due to this transplant I have to have all my teeth removed and my out of pocket expense is 13000.00. So here we are. As soon as I can am dropping them. This is what the multimillion industry does to low income people. Thank you humana.

      False Advertising - Humana Dental advertises that there are no waiting periods if you had 12 months of continuous coverage. We had coverage for 15 years. It ended on the 31st of the month 2 weeks later we selected Humana, particularly because we were told that there were no waiting periods. The representative told us that we qualified for no waiting period. Then 6 months later, when my daughter needed surgery, Humana declined to pay our claim saying that we did not have continuous coverage. They are a fraud. It was a bait and switch.
