      I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS PEOPLE TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR THEIR MEDICAL CARE.
      THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH HUMANA;
      I SPOKE TO HUMANA SALES. 1 IN DECEMBER 2022. AFTER REVIEWING MY ELIGIBILITY, HE INFORMED ME THAT I CAN HAVE GREAT COVERAGE FROM HUMANA. I INFORMED THE SALES AGENT THE MOST IMPORTANT COVERAGE FOR ME WOULD BE MY DIABETIC SUPPLIES INCLUDING DEXCOM. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT MY BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL IS SO THAT I CAN TAKE THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF INSULIN. HE INFORMED ME THAT IT IS COVERED BY HUMANA EVERYDAY. I WAS TOLD MY ENDOCRINOLOGIST IS IN THE NETWORK AND I WOULD HAVE NO ISSUES. I WAS ALSO INFORMED I WOULD HAVE UNLIMITED TRANSPORTATION.
      I WAS TOLD MANY OF MY MEDICINES WOULD BE COVERED BY HUMANA.
      ALL PRESCRIPTIONS AND DOCUMENTS WERE FILLED OUT AND SENT TO ALL THE CORRECT DEPARTMENTS.
      I NEVER RECEIVED ANY OF DIABETIC SUPPLIES
      AFTER WAITING I CALLED CONSISTANTLY AND ALL THEY WOULD TELL ME IT IS BEING WORKED ON. I COMPLAINED TO HUMANA CORPORATE AND HUMANA CUSTOMER SERVICES AND NOTHING WAS DONE TO HELP ME RECEIVE MY DIABETIC SUPPLIES.
      TILL FINALLY I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED AFTER THREE MONTHS OF WAITING.
      PER THE SO-CALLED TRANSPORTATION I WAS STRATDED ON TWO OCCASIONS WHEN I WAS LEFT AT THE DRS AND THEY WAS SUPPOSED TO PICK ME UP AFTER.I HAD THE RESERVATION NUMBERS FOR PICKUP AND TO RETURN HOME. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP TO PICK ME UP. THERE IS NO TRANSPORTATION COMPANY. IT IS A CALL CENTER THAT CALLS DIFFERENT COMPANIES IN THE AREA TO PICK UP.
      HUMANA INC ARE LIARS. THEY REMIND ME OF THE CON ARTIST THAT USE BAIT AND SWITCH TO SIGN UP CUSTOMERS.
      I WAS PUT ON THEIR SO-CALLED HUMANA GOLD PLAN. I CALLED CORPORATE TO ASK FOR HELP AND I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ASKING FOR HELP AND NO ONE HELPED ME
      IF NEEDED I HAVE AVAILABLE ALL OF THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE I SPOKE WITH.
      HUMANA WILL SAY ANYTHING TO SIGN UP PATIENTS THEN FIND OUT THEY ARE CON ARTIST. THANK GOD I AM BACK ON FULL MEDICARE

      I am a Humana customer. On February 10th I had a appointment with Humana transportation to take me to a doctor appointment for eye surgery.. The machine mistakenly put it in as 6:30 pm instead of 6:30 am..when I notified Humana (ModivCare) they said that it was nothing that they could do..I had to use my own money to get to my appointment.(it covered by my insurance) I made it to my doctor appointment. I put in a claim for reimbursement. They refuse to return my money. I provided them with the receipt number and everything that they ask for.i am 70 yrs old...I cannot afford this.

      Very bad phone reps cannot understand, kept asking to repeat, gave ref number and ID, after 1 hour of holding, transfers, hang ups, call backs. My 1hour lunch expired. 2nd day trying to get dental insurance help. Instead of up grading, I am CANCELING

      Humana makes big promises, but they don't keep them. I got them for vision and dentures. Now I owe $125 to ophthalmologist and $250 to a dentist only to find out Humana will pay less than 10% of what it will cost to get dentures.

      Their sell representatives would tell you any lies to just sell you the plans but after you buy it they would say your plan is not eligible to pay for anything

      You're only as good as the company's that work with you and provide services under your name are and since you provide services done by CCS Med your rating is reflected of their rating.

      Terrible customer service. I had surgery yesterday. The doctor ordered *****. ********* said the medication was denied. When I contacted Humana today they told me I picked it up yesterday. I did not. The cs lady was difficult to understand. I had to ask her to repeat everything. I think companies do this to discourage people from contacting them.
      The medication is a blood thinner so my body doesn’t form a blood clot around a stent that was placed in a vein in my pelvis. They have no compassion for patients. I am just trying to follow my doctor’s instructions.
      I will be looking for other insurance options.

      Have been with Humana for over 9 years no complaints except for all the marketing calls. Until now, their New pharmacy and customer service department are useless. The language barrier is atrocious, Jimmy, who wouldn't give his last name or transfer my call to a supervisor. (he should be fund raising for a telemarketing company) I thought my problem was handled until they sent me an email after speaking to my Doctor office stating they would send the scripts over. Then I receive a cancellation notice via email from Humana after I thought all was takin care of. Meanwhile where are my meds? No worries, contacted my Doctors office I will pick up hard copies of scripts, take them to my Local pharmacy & have them filled. Come October I will be getting quotes for my wife and I for better customer service.

      I used their over the conte benefit. I put all my products into the cart. I was tols that I owed 75 and that is what plan covered. And the site told me I owed nothing and had nothing left. think this was all correct I checked out. Shortly later I got bill in the mail for an overage. I called to see what this was and found ou that it was for taxes added to the order after check out. so I asked why was I not given a total with tax before check out. I was informed this is the way we do. So after tellinmg how unfair this was they said they waive it. Well I got second bill for ir called again and was told they was not going to waive the fee due to the fact some where on the webpage they said taxes are added after the checkout. Needles to say I never seen this done any place else. If I put somthing in a cart for say Amazon they tell me the shipping chagre and taxes before check so I know wha I owe. Not sure why Humana does not do this just seems a bit unfair to me.
