      I would not recommend anyone use Humana they are liars and fraudsters. Many my previous doctors are not in their system. I also was given a Humana Flex (Spending) Account Card of $500 to be used on dental care, vision services or hearing services. I tried using the card in January '23 after a yearly vision checkup, an error message came up. Since then, I have called Humana several times and was told my doctor is a specialist. A yearly checkup should not be classified as specialist services - what liars. To this day the card has not worked, it's a fraud and a fraud is a crime no matter who commits it. Employees, managers and agents have not helped and return calls are zero. They are not well trained, and communications are awkward at best.

      My mother had Humana for several years. She passed away 12/22/22, I was her financial Power of Attorney when she was alive. I made the payments on her behalf because she had Alzheimer's. Unfortunately, a payment was made for her premium on 12/27/22. I received a refund in the amount paid for her premium. Unfortunately, it was a check made out to the Estate of.... which I could not cash as the POA expired when she passed away. I reached out to Humana's Customer Service where I was treated poorly and even laughed at when I asked that the check be reissued in my name. I was told that their process does not allow for the check to be reissued in my name and that I would have to produce a will naming me as the executor of my mother's estate or some other legal document granting me the authority to represent my mother's estate. I escalated and spoke with the grievance department who requested I mail a letter detailing what had taken place and request a new check, I did so. I received a letter that had already expired from Humana outlining the same thing of producing a letter that I am now the executor of her estate. I called in to the grievance department several more times. I was lied too & told I'd receive a refund only to receive more letters telling me to produce legal documentation. The amount is nominal, but it is my money as I was making the payments. I spoke with a Supervisor on March 10/23 who eventually hung up on me. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. I imagine this is another way for them to make money. Their customer service is a joke right down to the ineffective supervisors who simply regurgitate what the customer service reps tell you. It's a shame that in a time of grief I have to try and fight for what is simply mine. It was paid by credit card they didn't offer to even credit it back to the card. To be named the executor of her estate would take longer than the expired 30 days they offered. I then would have to deal with probate. Shame on you Humana!

      Humana/Centerwell Pharmacy - I started the process of getting diabetic supplies in January. It is now the 9th of March. The most frustrating event I've had in many years, just to get test strips. The government allows 6 per day. My doctor has prescribed 6 tests a day, as a Type One diabetic. But Humana want to authorize only five per day. Their first response was to give me a new brand of meter and matching test strips. Now, they are about to send me the wrong brand of test strips that will not work in the new meter they sent me two months ago. I've acquired test strips and supplies from other companies for years without any of these problems. I've probably spent up to six hours on the phone over all of these issues. They have driven my doctor's staff half-batty trying to answer the multiple pre-authorizations. I'll be filing a complaint with the Missouri Insurance Commission as well. Humana/Centerwell is completely incompetent. They have actually caused me harm by dragging me through one process after another, raising blood pressure and stress levels off the charts. Their only task is to make larger profits.

      Ticked!!!!! I have been seeing a physician for years. Humanna was paying claims, then decided he was no longer in the network. So asked for a referral from my primary dr. My primary dr sent the referral numerous times, but Humanna keeps saying they didn’t get the referral. So now I can no longer see this specialist and owe over 700.00 bc they can’t get their crap together.

      Sucks, does not have enough mental health Dr, dentist or specialist. Employees when you express your disdain for the insurance hang up in you, they tell you to have your dr put in for someone out of network but denied the information she put in. They do not care that you do without mental health meds as they only have two dr in my area that are booked for six months out.
      Zero stars is their rating but I had to give one. I have been on the phone this week 12 hours and 24 minutes and gotten no where to find a pychiatrist in my area I even offered to drive up to two hours any direction and they can’t find one. Pray I have been put back in the que over and over for a case manager that will not answer the phone for two hours now. Then they want to know why I am so upset when they come tot he phone.

      I had no issues with any previous insurance companies. My meds have not changed in at least 4 years. I switched to Humana Medicare Value Plan in 2022, now they override the doctors prescription will only fill 29 of the 60 prescribed. First we trued 4x a day at a lower dose totalling 120 tablets, HUMANA will only pay for 80 tablets, since when did they become doctors and decide what is best for your needs. Don't bother calling, evey agent tells you something different and most are at an outsourced call center in another country whom you can barely understand. Canceling my Humana RX plan on Monday. Please shop carefully before you settle on Prescription Plan.

      This company will lie to you,, send you down blind alleys. My stepdad passed away in Mazatlan Mexico. I was advised to file claims because he was hospitalized within the first 60 days. I was told to send my claims to the "foreign claims dept" by Meghanne J. There IS no foreign claims dept, said the next rep. Then several other calls to different people with different stories and pure bullshit! I was given the runaround and they wasted tons of my time filling out forms and chasing rainbows. False hopes and promises. Then they said I have to go back to Mazatlan and get the doctor to coordinate with medicare for the correct codes and also write a letter saying it was an emergency. He didn't go to the hospital for a cup of tea!! Then the last woman accused me of taking my step dad there for treatment and threatened me with a fraud accusation. These people are just plain mean and evil at a time when I am distraught. There is NO mercy! Icewater in their veins.

      THE LEAST EFFICIENT BUSINESS ON EARTH. AFTER CHANGING NAME FROM HUMANA PHARMACY THE IMPRESSION CENTERWELL LEAVES WITH CONSUMERS IS THAT EVERY EMPLOYEE ORIGINALLY WITH HUMANA WAS REQUIRED TO TAKE EARLY TERMINATION AND ALL CW EMPLOYEES ARE TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR JOB AND DUTIES. THEY PROVIDE THE ABSOLUTE MINIMAL SERVICE FOR CONSUMERS AND OFFER NO APOLOGIES.

      This is not a reputable company. I have spent in excess of approximately 3hrs trying to resolve a pharmacy billing that I didn't authorize. Every call made is transferred to a different person/department that gives conflicting information. Not worth my time. Better to pay out of pocket than deal with this pharmacy.

      In February of 2023 I called Humana Medicare Vision Plan to cancel. Because I had experienced poor customer service for Humana Medicare 2021 and 2022 I changed coverage to Aetna for 2023. So, I called Humana customer service in February to cancel my vision plan for February and January. The service rep said he would cancel and reimburse me for both months. It’s now March and not only did I not get reimbursed, I was charged for March. I called Humana to cancel (again) and the customer service representative asked over and over why I wanted to cancel Humana coverage. The entire experience was frustrating and frankly disrespectful. Finally, I do not trust that my vision plan has been cancelled nor will they reimburse me.
