      they promise me and extra hundred a week, got their paper book not covered in the mail ,i need to go back to independent health they are a scam, never listen to the tv .if it sounds to good then it is a scam.

      I’ve been trying to get my pain medicine fill to no avail the group # on my insurance card is wrong dealing with cs is almost non existent they are so incompetent I will be going to United health

      I took my last blood pressure pill 11/29/22. My doctor's office said they would call in my prescription to Humana that day. I waited a week and nothing. My yearly appointment was 12/29/22. I told the office I was out of my medicine since 11/29, so they called Humana again. Today is 1/6/23, so I called Humana to find out where my prescription was. They told me it was called in 12/29, and I should receive it the week of 1/8/23. They gave me a tracking number, so I checked and there was no activity in the morning. I checked again in the afternoon and it shows in-transit. If I hadn't called, they probably wouldn't have shipped it yet!!

      They keep sending me someone else's bills. When I call to inform them that the person no longer lives here, they use their famous infinite transfer loop to ignore me. I'm trying to save you postage money, fools.

      I have been trying to get a medication approved for treatment of my ADHD for the past 13 days, and have STILL not been able to receive prior authorization approval. I am a graduate student actively enrolled in courses and struggling to perform academically because I cannot get my symptoms treated. This is because HUMANA is delaying approving the medication I desperately need! I have been on ADHD medication for 10+ years now, and have tried every medication there is. When a NEW medication came out that my PSYCHIATRIST prescribed me to treat my symptoms, I was more than willing to try it. I have been struggling with my attention/concentration in school, and really need a medication that works. Unfortunately, my insurance I pay hundreds of dollars a month for is delaying approving my medication because it is expensive. How can you deny me a medication I desperately need to be successful in life, and perform at my optimal level of functioning? I am in school to become a nurse practitioner, and am not naive to the games insurance companies play to avoid paying for the services and treatments patients need. I have spoken with Humana agents more times than I can count at this point, and they keep feeding me lies, such as "the medication will be approved in 72 hours!" My doctor ordered this medication DECEMBER 14th. It is now DECEMBER 26th, and I still don't have it. Your company didn't even start processing the authorization request until December 20th. This is a prime example of putting profits over patients in an attempt to avoid paying for expensive medications, even if it is in the best interest of the patient to do so. I have no doubt I will not be able to fill this medication at all before the New Year, and my assignments for school are piling up while I struggle to concentrate. Clearly this company makes it as difficult as possible for patients to get their expensive medications in the hopes we will just give up so they don't have to pay for it.

      Humana Representatives do nothing but lie about the prescription that supposed to be mail order. Now Humana won't release the prescription to be sent to a local pharmacy here to be filled with my life-sustaining insulin. Humana is asking for a lawsuit

      Recently a complaint was made on this site regarding denial of payment by Humana. As a result Humana responded by mail and that response was filled with misleading and inaccurate statements. First the response claimed that it was medicaid responsibility. However after speaking to medicaid I was informed that because Humana has made themselves the primary insurer and the plan is an advantage plan, Humana is responsible for the payment. I only wanted Humana to be my secondary insurer with medicaid as my primary. This was done before I spoke to Humana in November. Of the four times that I spoke to a Humana rep the only time I was informed of a deductible was when I spoke to a supervisor on the last occasion. At no time previously was I ever told, advised, or informed of any deductible. On the two prior occasions it was the rep who suggested to send the issue back to the claim department because they could not figure out why the claim was not paid. If I was advised of a deductible by the rep why would they go ahead and resubmit such claim? When the supervisor mentioned about the deductible my first response was "Where did that come from, that's the first time i'm hearing about a deductible." So these statements that Humana made are misleading and blatantly inaccurate. I do understand that Humana has made a decision and is willing to stand by it no matter the consequences. But at least they should be truthful and honest.
      I am disabled, my disability has to do with vision. Before i sign up to any plan one of the first things I inquire about is whether my eye doctor is with in there network. This was confirmed with Humana. Also if the eye doctor was not with in the network why did they pay for my glasses with the same eye doctor. Humana, you can come up with some better excuses instead of just trying to hide the facts. SHAME ON YOU!

      We have been trying to get my wife's spinal injections authorized by Humana's authorization company called Cohere.So far it's been 6 weeks,3 supervisors a total of almost 3 hours on hold and still no solution.I have been assured this was taken care of but they are liars.All they do is pass the buck and you go around in circles and end up at the same place.

      Well just when you think it could not get any worse,it does.Got a call from Humana last week telling me our doctor was not in our plan and to choose another Doctor.That is FALSE.I triple checked and he is in fact in our plan.These people have no idea of what the hell they are doing.Here we are 2 months later and still no solution and my wife continues to suffer.

      I was in needing teeth extractions. I searched the web and was given 901 Dental. I called and gave my insurance, was told it's accepted. I went in at the scheduled time was seen by the doctor. Upon the extraction the doctor informed me that Humana will not cover the extractions and that I would have to pay partial out of pocket $1068.00. I've been paying for Dental insurance over 2 years about for nothing. I'm so irate about because I have not used the insurance at all until. Every 2 weeks money is deducted and I have to pay for teeth to get pulled. Unreal... 2 weeks later I was scheduled for a simple cleaning and was denied service after taking off. I want a refund and will switch Dental providers

      My father passed away so I called to notify them so they could cancel HIS policy. Before the call ended, I asked the rep to confirm that my mother's policy was not connected and still active, and I was told it was separate and it should still be active. Fast forward to a few weeks later when I called to get clarification on benefits, I was told my mother's policy was canceled. I explained it was their mistake it was canceled, but the rep still insisted I would have to go through all the motions of re-applying. Why should I do that for a mistake they made? Needless to say, I went to another company with much better service that same day. Even this company's website needs vast improvement, especially for dental and vision. I see it was a blessing in disguise.
