      I purchased a brand new washer/dryer unit GE one unit with the dryer on top. Had one long ago and loved it. Straight out of the box it would not work properly- it was completely out of balance. Started a dialogue in January with GE. They sent technicians, I had my own repair service and all said the thing came with ALL wrong parts and used parts and crap. It is now May and they keep saying they need to send more technicians and lied about what the technicians are saying. I need a replacement and the warranty period is running out.

      I keep getting the ru around with wanting to send more and other technicians when they are all saying the same thing.

      I purchased a refrigerator. It has a warranty. I called to report it was not cooling. The company was not able to be reached, but made an appointment with out speaking to me during a time I was not available. I rescheduled for my day off. Before that day came, they rescheduled me via email notifications twice for days I did not ask for and could not make.

      So before my service appointment, I had three appointments made on my behalf without speaking to me for days I was not free.

      The day of my service appointment arrives and the service man calls. I answer and confirm I am home. He leaves a notice on my door that said "sorry we missed you" I have a ring doorbell that would have alerted a notification to me if it was rang and I was waiting in the living room where I could easily hear a knock. It did not happen. He was unable to be reached by me or the supervisor I ended up calling when I received the notice. The supervisor could also not reach dispatch to reach him as well. All that could be done was reschedule me again. I angrily agreed.

      After this, I received another email notification that the new appointment was moved to a day I was not off work. I responded under no circumstance to change my appointment. It was not received and they moved it anyway. I then had to deal with a service man calling me at work. (I work in a hospital and can not easily take phone calls as I am working with patients). I rescheduled for the day the appointment was supposed to be and am still waiting to be contacted.

      I believe at this point, the behaviors from the company are demonstrating a warranty breach and or complete incompetence and I have no confidence the issue will be resolved based on previous interactions. There have been 5 appointments made with out my request and explicit direction to not move my appointments and a false claim I was not home or reachable during my actual appointment.

      My one year old fridge is still broken after weeks of attempts to remedy the issue.

      I will not accept a response that I have an appointment scheduled. I have been in this situation of having an appointment scheduled multiple times. IF the repair happens on the date scheduled, I will not seek a refund. 

      However, I have lost multiple dollars worth of food and medication while the fridge has been failed to be repaired over this month. I feel a monetary credit at this time is fair.

It was only cooling for barely a week after I finally received service. The GE number is not working that they called me from wanting a response from. This company has done nothing correctly for me and I am in the same situation now I have been in for two months not being able to have groceries. I want my money back and a new fridge.

      I purchased a dryer from Lowes on Feb. 28, 2025 and the following week it stopped working, I was informed by Lowes that I needed to contact GE, which I did and after the tech finally came out he replaced a part on it, but when he left I attempted to use it and it starting making a loud noise, when I contacted GE again, they sent the tech back out and that is when he tells me that it required a new drum, but it would take 6 weeks to get that part, I then called GE to get a new dryer, and they would, but I had not heard back so I called today and now they are telling me it would need to be resubmitted for approval which could now take 24 to 48 hours to do so.

      On 12/06/24, we purchased a GE refrigerator from **** ***, Brandon, Florida. It was delivered on 12/12/24. We noticed that the ice maker was VERY loud upon refilling. On 1/8/25, we made an initial request for service. Service techs from two different warrantee service companies have made five trips to inspect and/or replace parts - the last on 05/02/25. Since then, I have reached out four times to GE and have been told that the unit should be replaced; however, not of the persons I spoke with authority to do this and said that a manager would get back to me within two days. This has not happened as of today - 05/19/25. We want this unit deemed unrepairable and replaced. The noise is so loud that it wakes us up from a sound sleep on nights that we forget to turn the icemaker off. Please see the attached timeline sheets for all calls and visits. On 05/15/25, I returned to the retailer (**** ***) for help. I was given the name and email address of a GE Area Rep ******* ****** and sent him an email asking for assistance. As of today, I have not gotten a replay.

      A new refrigerator was delivered to us on 06/18/2025.  The new unit is as loud as the one deemed non-repairable and replaced.  *****, with GE Service, phoned me this morning and we discussed the issue.  Once again, I was asked to submit a recording of the noise, which I did.  In order to rule out an issue with our home's water pressure, I purchased a gauge and tested the line to the refrigerator.  It tested at 100 psi and, according to the manual supplied with the unit, it falls within operating parameters.

      In addition to the noise issue, the new unit has an issue with the auto-fill pitcher.  This information was included in the email to ******

      I purchased a GE Cafe range through PC *******. I was told that GE personally services their appliances. I have been having a horrible time coordinating with PC ******* & GE to get my glass range top replaced for almost two months. PC ******* allowed a one time courtesy of the replacement of the glass top which has a small chip & burn food marks around the burner rings that wont come off. I complained to PC ******* that GE's service team Bidewell isnt abiding by appointment times, showing up to peoples' homes without appointments. When you call GE, they are a nightmare to deal with. They have nasty customer service reps & a ridiculous policy where they require you to give the serial and model number every time you call which I refuse to do. I had an appointment for this coming MOnday between 1-5. Once again, this am, I was awakened at 8:30 by Bidewell. I didnt pick up. I listened to the message & to my shock, they said the service person was at my door! I was so infuriated I didn't know what to do. I called back. First of all, I thought my appointment was Monday & knew for a fact that it was between 1-5 even if it was today which I doubted. The rude individual began to argue with me after stating that it did look like something was indeed wrong. I demanded a supervisor I was so infuriated. She deliberately transferred me to an area that was not in service. In other words, hung up on me. I tried to tell PC ******* that they were doing this. Bidewell does whatever they want. I proceeded to call back. I was transferred to a supervisor who insisted I provide her with serial number. I was upstairs in my house & was not going downstairs. Why is it that a Bidewell agent was at my house twice, to look at this range,& took a photo of the serial number!! Why would he do that & then it not be logged in the system? The supervisor today, (I took her name) said that she had to have the serial number or we couldnt move forward with case. I told her I was reporting this.

      On Friday, April 18, 2025, My GE Profile refrigerator stopped Cooling. I lost over $300.00 in frozen foods. Monday, April 21, I called a GE certified repair person (A&E) and was told that the closed cooling system was leaking and it would cost upwards of 1800.00 to repair. I called GE later that day to find that my 4 yr old refrigerator was still under an extended warranty for the cooling system. GE sent out Bodwell Appliance Repair on 4/24/25. They refused to repair site A&E initially started repair. On 4/29/25 JDS appliance had initially agreed to repair but the tech on site refused to repair. I have been in contact with GE customer service and have spoken with at least 4 different customer service agents for my case #16449336.
      on 5/1/25, GE had A&E return and a different tech said that only a few parts needed to be ordered and had those parts sent to my house. On 5/12/25 A&E canceled appointment at noon and rescheduled for 5/16/25. On 5/16/25, there was a delay for the tech to come every 2 hours until 4pm at which time GE called A&E and they were assured that an appointment would take place at 6pm. At 4:45 pm I was notified that A& E WOULD NOT BE COMING. I call GE customer assistance and was told again that there was nothing that could be done unless A&E comes out. I have no vacation days left. I have WASTED 5 vacation days on a refrigerator that is under warranty. I cannot be sure that they will ever come repair my refrigerator. After a month with no refrigerator, I feel GE needs to provide a replacement Refrigerator because we are at an impasse with the repair people.
      I have been told that there is no supervisor to speak to and basically nothing more any customer service person can do. I paid $3399 for this refrigerator through our builder's regular appliance store 4 years ago. I am only asking what is clearly covered in the warranty and is not being honored.

      I recently bought a washing machine from Lowe’s that is a General Electric washing machine on the 28th of April, 2025. It broke down on May 5th, 2015 and I didn’t receive it until May 9 so I only had a few days to use it. Lowe’s will not help me since the 3 year warranty does not start until after the 1 year GE warranty. General Electric hired a third party repair company to fix it and this will be the second time they’ve canceled. They are coming to fix it May 19th which is unacceptable for me. I will be going on almost 20 days being unable to wash mine and my families clothes. I do not have high hopes that they will be able to fix this washing machine and they have gave me no other options besides waiting or trying to find a company that can do it sooner and they have offered to give $250 for repairs for the warranty. I am unhappy with these results and would like a refund or exchange from either Lowe’s or General Electric. What they have been doing for me is not going to be good enough. Thank you.

      I purchased GE dishwasher from Home Depot on 9/23/24 and it was delivered and installed in Oct. 2024. Since that date I have had multiple service calls because it was malfunctioning ie. starting and stopping , peeping for no reason. Woke up one morning with all the lights blinking and it beeping. I had to shut power off to the machine to get it to stop.

      Service Tech has now been here 6 times, and replaced several parts. Each time it runs for a few weeks and than malfunctions again. I have requested the dishwasher be replaced and each time request has been denied. The last time I spoke to a Supervisor, *****, and was told the last visit was necessary before we it was deemed unfixable and we would than qualify for a replacement, so I agreed. That visit was April 24th and it did the same thing about a week ago. when i call my request for a new machine was again denied. I was given yet another repair date.

      A GE refrigerator was purchased in May of 2022 as part of a remodel appliance package. The fridge alone cost me $3100 plus 6% sales tax. We took delivery of the appliances in July of 2022, and they were installed in August of 2022. In March, it started making a loud noise. We tried to troubleshoot the noise but found no cause for it. There was a 1-year warranty on the product, which expired in May 2023, even though the appliance was not installed until August. I contacted GE to get an appliance person to come out, and they scheduled a repairman to come out a week later -- the guy didn't show up, but sent a text late in the day to reschedule for a week later. In the meantime, I found an appliance repairman to come out sooner. He determined that the fridge was low on coolant and recharged it, but said the leak was not in a prominent, fixable place, within the cabinet itself, and thus unrepairable. He told me that if the refrigerator did not cool within 12 or so hours to the 34-37 degrees mark, it likely leaked out, and at that point, I should consider the product junk and start over again. Getting 2 years out of a $3100 refrigerator is unacceptable to me.

      I contacted GE to see what they could do, and they offered me a discount on parts. However, no parts were needed to fix it, and the repairman said it was not fixable because the leak was within the cabinet. The GE people I spoke to were rude, without understanding, and unwilling to help. I did send them my repair receipt so the case could be looked at, but in the meantime, I am without a refrigerator with minimal expectations of help.

      I would like GE to stand behind its products. If so many people complain about its refrigerators, why aren't recalls issued to fix them? I cannot wait for GE to resolve this issue. I will have to purchase another fridge. I want a refund for the refrigerator purchase to recover financially from this disaster.

      Bought 10/31/24 in prep for home sale. Issues soon after. GE (Bodewell) serviced 5 times since 12/2024 (fallen burner element under glass, heat surges, alarms, tripped surge breakers, etc.). All safety issues. Still broken, needs more repairs.  No confidence that further repairs will be substantial or permanent. Requesting replacement, different model. Home is now on market with broken major appliance on disclosures form. Attempting repair is no longer appropriate or safe. Cannot, with clear conscience, sell to unsuspecting buyer, knowing it is dangerous and will fail... unethical, at best. If repaired and fails home inspection, that's money out of my pocket as a concession. Asking for continued patience is inappropriate. We don't want this oven... it is dangerous. Please replace with GRS600AVFS. Similar, less electrical parts that could malfunction.

      Due to the excessive service and the multiple attempts at repair, we have agreed to exchange it for the model requested. 

      This unit will come with a brand new warranty the day it's delivered.
