      We bought a new washer and dryer from GE about 6 months ago. The washer stopped draining. I got in touch with GE immediately and they scheduled a repair guy to come. Immediately the repair person changed the appointment saying GE has no knowledge of their schedule. the company then called and asked if they could come to the house within the hour. We said yes, but two hours later they werent there. They offered no explanation and rescheduled the next week. THe next week comes, I take off work and they try to change the appointment time to when I am not there. When I say I wont be home yet they try to cancel. Finally they send someone and the guy comes in for 30 seconds and says they need to order a part. A week later the part comes in and they cant install it for two and a half weeks. I take off work again to facilitate that appointment. The company calls 2 hours before the appointment and cancels. They reschedule another week out and then tries to say they dont have time to install the part when they come. They were just going to leave it with me. I have spoken to GE twice. They have offered me a 50$ and a 75$ gift card for my trouble. We have been out of a washer for over a month for a family of 4. I have taken two days off work to deal with this. With my lost wages and the money we have spent at the laundromat, not even including the inconvenience, we are out over a 1000$ on all this. Everything about his has sucked and GE's little gift card I'm Sorry is completely not sufficient.

      Back in December, my husband and I had purchased the GE front load washer and heat pump dryer combination. It was working fine until the end of February. when it stopped drying our clothes. I had to then take my money and go to a laundromat. It was serviced on March 4th, 2025, and it was working fine. For more context my husband and I searched up reviews and tutorials about how to keep this machine working at 100%. We bought a shop vac, as well as tape to line our lint trap so lint wouldn't reach the heating coils. The shop vac also needed a battery, and for added measure we bought lint trap cleaning tools. We went made a large effort to keep our machine in tact. So after he took a look to see why our machine wasnt functioning properly, he ordered the parts and came back on March 11th, 2025 to install them where needed. He also commented that he is constantly servicing these exact machines because no matter who owns one, they constantly break down in some way shape or form. It started to work again for a week. Then the same issue, I would come back to get my clothes and they would be soaked. Again needing to go to the laundromat. We have called home depot and we have called GE and the only way they will give us any compensation is to have a man look at and "diagnose" that it is unfixable. And even then, GE wont give us our money back, they will only give us a new machine. We want our money back and this machine taken out of our home. We ordered a new washer and dryer and EXPECT our money to be returned and the machine removed. They knowingly put out a faulty machine and still are trying to sell it to people. Once it stops working, they hide their hands and pretend they weren't scamming their customers. I will die on this hill. I will get my money back and the machine removed or legal action WILL be taken.

      Purchased stove from lowes in June of 24 stove went out a month later. GE sent someone to fix it. Worked until March went out again. GE sent someone out again to fix it went out before repair man left. Have had 3 repair men here since none have been able to fix the stove it has no power. We has an electrician look at out let power is fine. GE is refusing to fix the issue exchange or refund the money.

      Hello, I am emailing to report an issue. The dishwasher technician changed the water in my kitchen and made it all hot and we were unable to change it without a service

      We have to pay a water valve service bill because of the hot water change bill

      Please advise we are asking for this to be compensated;

      My dishwasher was hooked up incorrectly due to a repairman not wanting to change the water 

      He canceled the appointment when we asked for him to fix it 

      We had to schedule a repairman to change the water to hot 

      GE needs to reimburse for the serviceman fees

      I called the consumer to discuss her concerns.  I asked why the issue wasn't brought up to the technician that came out to her home on 3/14 or 3/28. She also had a service call scheduled for yesterday, 4/16 but then told me a licensed plumber repaired the issue with the sink water temperature on 4/14.  

      As we were talking to the consumer, we got disconnected.  I tried calling her back to finish our conversation, but I got her voicemail.

      We originally bought a GE CAFE refrigerator (Café - 22.3 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Counter-Depth Smart Refrigerator with Convertible Drawer with Soft Freeze - Matte White) in October 2024. Since Our refrigerator was first delivered, we noticed the refrigerator had a few defects, according to Best Buy, where we bought it, they were manufacture defects. It had some scratches and it was not symmetrical with how the doors aligned, with the middle drawer as well. Best Buy was kind enough to do an exchange but since then, they have attempted to deliver 4 different refrigerators and ALL have been defected in one way or another. The last one had a broken middle drawer. Every time we went to open the door, it would fall on the right side and the light was also not working. Best Buy refuses to compensate us for this because they state it is manufacture defect but GE will not do anything for it since we did not directly buy from them. According to one employee from GE, he said GE will not exchange for defects as long as the fridge is working correctly. We've had about 4 different delivery men who have stated that they have had the same issues from other clients with GE CAFE models. This is not okay and I am asking for some type of compensation for the time is took for the fridge to be delivered. This was all from October 2024 to April 2025. Yesterday we finally got a refrigerator delivered and it was by far the best one we have received but it still makes a pop sound every time we open it. This is not okay to be getting this type of product when we paid a little more than $4,000 for it!

      have an extended warranty for my GE Monogram appliance through Assurant. Our dishwasher has had a lighting malfunction since November 2024. After the initial service provider failed to resolve the issue with a poor-quality repair, I contacted Assurant and requested a GE Appliance Service technician to properly diagnose and fix the problem.
      Since January 2025, one of the necessary replacement parts has been on backorder. Despite one of the two required parts arriving in February, GE Appliance Service has repeatedly refused to send a technician to complete the repair. I’ve made numerous phone calls and sent multiple emails, yet the issue remains unresolved.
      In addition, my experience with GE Consumer Service has been extremely frustrating. I’ve had to call them multiple times, only to be met with rude and unprofessional representatives who were unwilling to listen or understand the details of my situation.
      For a company as large and well-known as GE, the level of customer service and repair support has been shockingly poor. I am incredibly disappointed and hope this issue is addressed promptly and appropriately.

      I am reaching out to request your assistance in resolving an ongoing and unresolved issue with a defective appliance purchased from GE Appliances. This situation has caused considerable hardship for my household, and despite numerous repair attempts and continued communication with GE, the company has refused to replace the faulty unit.

      On March 9, 2024, my husband and I purchased a GE Profile 4.8-cu ft Capacity Carbon Graphite Ventless All-In-One Washer Dryer Combo from Lowe's in California, Maryland. By March 1, 2025, the appliance began malfunctioning, failing to fill with water and instead only entering a dry cycle. I immediately contacted GE on March 3, 2025, as the unit was still under its one-year manufacturer warranty. Our case number, assigned by a representative named Katy in Consumer Relations, is 15953727.

      Since then, I have experienced multiple unsuccessful service calls, where technicians either failed to return phone calls or show up at all, or if they did come, the issue was not resolved. To date, there have been over five failed service attempts, causing me to take time off work and incur additional expenses and time at the laundromat.

      I have requested that GE offer an alternative solution or compensation, but they have refused. The appliance was still under its original manufacturer warranty when the issue arose, and their customer service has been inadequate, with numerous days passing without any response. It has now been 1.5 months since the problem began, and there is still no resolution.

      I kindly request your assistance in helping resolve this matter with GE Appliances and ensuring that this issue is addressed in a timely and fair manner. I have copies of all texts and emails and can forward, if needed.

      I contacted GE about my faulty air conditioner unit under warranty and was mailed a good will certificate to purchase a new unit but postage was not covered for the return of the certificate. I would like to submit my certificate online with the receipt of my new unit.

      Brand new refrigerator purchased in 2022. This has been repaired 3 times and they replace a part then another breaks and now they want me to pay to repair something that has not been fixed to begin with. This refrigerator has been a lemon from the start. ***** it the worst product on the market. Please help me have this replaced. I have thrown away some much food because of this product.

      Received washer on September 17, 2024. Since beginning, washer is not only loud, but jumps around and bangs when it is on and the washer sometimes starts before I make my selection. I am afraid it will explode and the water will ruin my floors. When I open the top, all the green lights come on sometimes. Also, it does not drain and my clothes come out very wet. Even when I run it through the drain and spin cycle three times, it does not drain. I have had GE technicians come to repair the problems at least four times, but they all tell me it is normal. Also, I have to change the settings every time even when they are already set where I want them to be and back again in order for the washer to start. GE has a 48 hour exchange and refund policy.       I am rejecting this response because: GE will only give me $100 off a new GE washer and refuses to refund me for my washer that is a lemon.  Many reviews by customers who purchased this washer are having the same problems, so I am not making it up. The technicians state that the problems with the washer are normal.  According to GE, normal is the new bad.  I cannot have a machine that does not drain. The clothes are so wet at the end of the cycle, that my dryer takes 2 hours to completely dry a load that previously took 50 minutes.

Unacceptable!  The washer does not drain completely even when I run it thru Drain & Spin twice. It now takes two hours to dry my clothes instead of the usual 50 minutes.  Instead of drying my clothes completely, I am hanging them up to finish drying.  GE's technicians have been here several times and they state that the washer is draining my clothes and this is normal.  NOT NORMAL!
