      I placed a request to Ge Appliances 6/3/2022 regarding a customer service repair. Ge has not repaired my washer and it has been 8 weeks. I've placed multiple phone calls to Ge regarding my washer that is under full warranty. Multiple parts have been shipped to my home for weeks. The parts have been the wrong parts each time they were delivered, which further prolonged my washer repair. I have asked for the case to be escalated up to a supervisor and that wasn't done. I called Ge consumer relations department and didn't help. My request after numerous times of asking to speak with a supervisor was never taken care of because the representative always told me a supervisor was never available. So resolving my issue was never sent higher up once I finally was able to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor told me a case manager would reach out to me and that never happened. I have made numerous calls about the status of the issue and I can't get any help as of 7/14/22. I have been waiting now 8 weeks for a repair. This washer is the 2nd one within a year that has been replaced due to defective parts. This is the exact same washer with the exact same problem. With the 1st washer,Ge sent me back half of my money the last time and I was told I had to repurchase full warranty again onthe same washer. This exact same washer has the exact same problem I was never told then with the 1st one that I didn't have to repurchase a new warranty. Ge mail me a $50.00 dollar check weeks agoto go to a laundry mat for a household of 5. As of 7/20/22 Ge informed me they would review my case . I received a a email stating that they would replace it only. I called I was informed that only a replacement of the same washer would be sent to me. I stated that this would be the 3rd exact same washer again. After going back and forth they gave me 2 options of there choice to pick from site unseen. I started I needed to see if if was ok for my family. ****** stated disconnected both.

      I recently purchased a GE refrigerator froms. **** It was delivered and installed by ****s. Over the past 2 months, it has begun to make a very high pitched (3200Hz) sound. This sound seems to occur when the refrigerator is within 5 degrees of its desired temperature. In other words, this sound occurs for several hours throughout the day. It has become so bad that you can hear it from the other rooms in my house. Friends who have come to visit have commented on how annoying it is. I'm a Realtor and sit open houses during the week and I've never heard anyone else's refrigerator make this kind of noise.
      I contacted GE who sent a local repair man (***** **** ********* Appliance Repair 808-868-2332). He agreed the noise was not normal and ordered a couple circuit boards to fix it. After the repair the noise was unchanged so I contacted GE again. They said the repair man told them that he did not notice the noise and that they will send someone else. Then GE said that they could not find anyone else to come and I should try to find someone myself.

      The second opinion was provided to GE on August 3rd, 2022. The second opinion confirmed that the noise was present and not normal for this unit. I have not yet heard back from GE regarding how they are going to fix the situation given that there is now confirmation that the refrigerator I purchased 5 months ago is not working as advertised and designed.

      I purchased a new fridge from ***** on May 24th, and it was delivered roughly a week later. After having the fridge installed and allowing it time to cool I transferred food over from our old fridge as well as a thermometer that tracks current temperature, max temperature, and lowest temperature. I noticed we had a problem after opening ribs that we had purchased two days prior. The meat had turned green. The best by date had not surpassed. I looked at the fridge thermometer, and noticed a high temp of 57 degrees. I quickly removed everything from the new fridge and put the contents in our old fridge as we had not sold it yet (luckily). We then reached out to ***** who put us in contact with GE and we scheduled a service appt. I continued monitoring the temperatures, and only opened the fridge to check and reset the high temperatures. The new fridge reaches daily highs of 45-55 degrees Fahrenheit. The technician came and told me without doing any troubleshooting that this is normal as it is warming up due to it running a defrost cycle, and that this was a new feature from GE (Smart defrost). However, I told him that the FDA recommends food be kept under 40 degrees at all times. Also if it does go above 40, and you are not sure for how long you should throw out your food. I have also reached out to GE product support asking them what the safe temp in the fridge is and they told me the same. I have had a total of 3 techs come out and they do not want to repair or even look at why my fridge is warming up above 40 degrees so often. I have asked for them to put on paper that this is a normal fridge temperature, and they won't. I have asked for documentation stating that this is a normal temperature range, and they won't. At this point I am put in a situation where I have to put my families health at risk or spend another $3000 for a new fridge. All because GE technicians have simply told me to trust them, and the FDA doesn't know what they are talking about.

      I purchased this refrigerator with the expectation that it would perform like every refrigerator and maintain a FDA RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE OF below 40 f. I have set my temperature to 35 f, and it has a high temperature of 45-55 degree temperature every 8-12 hrs. Ge has stated the mass temperature of food should stay below the recommended food safety temperature, although they do not guarantee this for this particular fridge. The fda specifically recommends air temperatures for measurements of food safety not mass temperatures as GE claims “should be”  safe, but I have no way to test, and if I did would have to test every 8-12 hrs to be sure my families food is safe. Every day I have no idea how long my fridge has been at 50+ degrees, and according to the FDA I should throw out my food because of this uncertainty . I understand GE has no regard to my food safety and the safety of my newborn baby, but I follow the recommendations that are provided from experts not GE share holders. I will not be satisfied until they fix my fridge to maintain safe temperatures. Or a full refund. If they know the fridge does not maintain safe temperatures they should have a disclaimer otherwise they should design a fridge to remain at safe temperatures.

      I ordered a GE refrigerator from ********** on 6/17. After 5 fictitious dates for delivery ( with 5 emails sent giving us delivery time frames ) an attempt was made to deliver a damaged refrigerator. This was on 7/7/2022. The delivery company “ expedited” delivery on the replacement refrigerator for 7/26/2022 based on a “senior” level GE person saying the refrigerator was on back order and that was the earliest date for delivery. Fast forward to yesterday 7/26/2022 and as per prior experience the delivery company was a no show no call and we remain without a refrigerator. I spoke to a customer service representative from GE Appliances who advised me the refrigerator is in stock and not back ordered and available for pick up in the GE distribution center in Louisville Kentucky for today 7/27/2022. When I spoke to GE Appliance delivery service, I was advised that the delivery date has now been extended out to 8/16/2022. I’ve spoke to countless “supervisors “ at GE, GE delivery services, **********, ****** appliance resolution department and the regional delivery service contracted by GE and we’re now approaching the 2 month mark after the refrigerator was ordered and I still don’t have it. The lack of concern and follow through of all these entities is appalling! I know I’m just a single person in this realm of things but my time is just as valuable. The “supervisors “ tell you what they think you want to hear, just enough to get you off the phone, and the buck stops there! No further communication from anyone! That is definitely not the definition of customer service. I shouldn’t have to spend countless hours trying to get something I’ve already been charged for and tossed between customer service representative’s and “supervisors “ that don’t follow things through to resolution!

      Purchased GE AC unit 3/7/2022 at ******. On 7/26/2022 the unit quit working. I was issued a good will certificate up to the purchase price. The only thing is that it's the middle of summer and the certificate is only good for GE AC's. The model I purchased is not available anywhere. The next comparable GE model is $100 more than the original. I asked for my original purchase price but it was refused.

      I placed an order October 24, 2021, through ******** *** ****** for an Opal Ice Machine. The ice machine was working well until May 2022. My ice machine stopped working in May. I went online and watched videos on troubling shooting the machine. Nothing worked. I tried for 3 weeks reaching out to someone at GE ************. To no avail I called ******** *** ****** and they stated I would have to contact GE directly. ******** *** ****** had a number they provided where I was able to speak with someone who was able to send me an email about troubleshooting again, and sending a picture of the model and serial number. I received an email that day June 30, 2022. I have not been able to speak with anyone since that day. I call and hold for 1 hour to 1.5 hours, I call back and punch in my number and no returned calls like stated. I have emailed through their email support address ******************************* and no one emails me back. I loved my ice machine when it was working, but I do not like the fact that I cannot get any help with getting my issue resolved. The opal ice manchine is handled differently, that shouldn't matter. I should be able to get a response from someone regarding this issue. I feel waiting 2.5 months and still not get a response is not acceptable. Also this ice machine cost me $680.35 almost the cost of a cheap refrigerator.

      I bought a new freezer and plugged it in. Because I had another freezer that had recently died I did not have a lot of choice and moved my stuff over to the new freezer.
      The next morning, after 24 hours, the freezer high temp alarm was going off. I lowered the temp in an attempt to fix. Called ge and they had no service technician for 2 weeks. Much of the food obviously went bad.
      Technician showed up 2 weeks later and said it was a compressor. Waited another week and 1/2 for the compressor to get fixed, following day unit still didn’t cool.
      Technician came out and stated that the unit needed coils. Now they scheduled me for 8/15.
      Today I called in and the parts haven’t shipped and I am stuck waiting for these parts to get it repaired again.
      I am really disappointed that I have lost so much food, time and trust with this brand.

      I purchased a GE Washer 10/4/2021. Model ***********. Serial #*********
      I have had a service technician come out to fix the leaking machine five times. Each time I show them the pictures of the leak but they do not stay around long enough to run a cycle and see the leak. The technician suggests I keep calling for a repair tech and that eventually customer service will get tired of dealing with the issue and authorize a replacement unit. It leaks once a week. I would like a replacement unit that does not leak. GE also sold me an extended warranty for five years but I do not wish to call them every month for the next five years to resolve this leak.

      We purchased a GE Monogram drawer microwave for our remodel. Once installed, the drawer would not completely close and this not heat food. After multiple service calls, GE replaced the first unit. Not the second unit had the same issue as well as a fuse issue. Again multiple service calls, time off work and even cancelled service calls from GE. We have had weeks long periods without a functioning microwave and continue to be scheduled with service without any resolution. This has been occurring for the past 6 months. We are requesting a replacement or buyback to switch to a different manufacturer as both GE monogram units have failed and left us without a microwave for weeks on end.
