May 13th 2025 I Purchased a GE Sensor Dryer from my local **** ***** , They delivered it the following Saturday. The same day the drivers brought the dryer they installed it and when I tried to Dry clothes within 30 minutes it blew the Dryer breaker in my home. I Wanted to unplug the dryer and the back was EXTREMELY hot and smelled of plastic burning. I called **** ***** and they sent a person out to inspect the dryer the outcome was that the drivers incorrectly Connected the cord and they would have to send another dryer out. They offered nothing to replace my breaker and that would be left up to me to have replaced. Fast forward a week and two new drivers delivered another dryer and it took me over a week to have my breaker fixed. Now I have the new dryer and the first load I tried drying the back becomes completely hot and smelled of something burning and the Drum to the dryer makes a terrible knocking noise. This is unacceptable and could potentially be a fire hazard. **** ***** has stated they have no liability to this dryer because it has passed 48 hours to return. I have wasted almost 800$ on a dryer that not only doesn’t work but could potentially harm my family and myself.Business Response

On August 6th 2024 I purchased a Profile 4.8-cu ft Capacity Carbon Graphite Ventless All-
In-One Washer Dryer Combo (ENERGY STAR Certified)Item ******** Model ************.
The machine has not worked properly from the time of first use. I have had technicians to the house 5 times to repair the machine, each time they would say the problem was something different or they would tell me that they had to order a part for the machine and would return to fix it. The latest such time a technician came and said the machine was not getting to the proper temperature for drying and that he needed to order a part which could take 7 days before it arrived. When I contacted General Electric to alert them to the most recent situation, the person I was communicating with via email at GE (Michelle) told me that the company who serviced the machine (** **** ***** said to them that the machine was fine, that the diagnostics all checked out. Clearly this was not true as both I and the tenant heard the repairman state the machine was not working correctly. Confirming this, I received a text from someone at ** **** saying and I quote: "Greetings! We are sorry, our system had some troubles and we could not receive messages and calls these days. But now everything is okay.
Yes, the part was ordered and we are still waiting for it. We will contact you as soon as we receive it.
Thank you for your patience.
Have a nice day!"
Even after sending this message to GE to show them that the servicer had stated a part was ordered, they said that in their correspondence with ** **** they claimed that the machine was working properly. It seems as if these 2 companies GE and ** **** are working together to avoid any responsibility in repairing or replacing this machine. Please read the attached correspondence to see what has been going on for the last week. Thank you for your time, hopefully I can get some resolution to this.
Yours Truly,

I purchased a GE dishwasher from *** ******* ********* of Rock Valley Iowa. It was installed by a technician on Jan. 2, 2025. It leaked that evening when we ran it and we discovered it the next morning. Water ruined flooring in my kitchen and downstairs susupended ceiling was also affected. The technician came back and after lots of time and phone calls he determined that a factory defective was responsible. This started a long complicated mess with GE to get another dishwasher to replace the defective one and also was the beginning of dealing with ******** as the claim adjuster for GE. I have spent hours emailing, sending pics, resending estimates and info. They delay and ask for more info and so forth. ******** finally had an adjuster come and look at our home in May. I have estimates from our local store for flooring and a contractor for labor. THe amount estimated by our supplier and carpenter are $18,054.28. ******** is not willing to pay and is determined that we are only entitled to $13,417.34. Sedgewick only wants to do business by email and photos. I have had a conversation with the manager of the agent who is been handling the problem. I am so frustrated. I do not think I am asking to much to have my house fixed with quality flooring like I have now and (not some cheap stuff). I asked them to pay the bills as the work was done , nope, told me that is not how it is done. Is there anything I can do to get them to pay the amount needed for my home repair?
GE is impossible. There are no real people answering phones, you get auto responses that go round and round and hang up on you. I sent an email which someone politiely answered that GE did not handle cases such as mine. They use a third party claims company.Business Response

I purchased the sapphire blue GE front loader washer along with the dryer. I purchased them around June 2023. The washers pump went out a little after a year of purchase date. I called a repair facility who came to diagnose it. Drain pump was bad. I was going to replace but was told to contact GE since I had it for about a year and 1 week. I did. They helped. Sent me a new drain pump and had it installed. In May of 2025 the washer stopped working properly again. I had a local repair service come out again. This time I was told it was the motor/asm and/or the inverter board. Cost is 998.00 for repair/parts. This was the third issue with an appliance barely 2 years old. I called GE again. CS agreed it was an issue, escalated me to consumer relations. Explained issue and was placed on hold. Was offered a 25% discount on parts. Would only save $80 overall with the discount as we would still have to pay someone to put the parts in from the appliance repair. It’s cheaper to buy a new washer at this point. When explaining this to customer relations that my appliance is just a littler over 2 years from the manufacturer date and I haven’t even owned it for 2 years that was still the offer. I have heard this is a pretty good washer and that was why we decided to purchase it.we bought the set and the pedestals that went with them. I feel we may of just gotten one that had some issues and would like a better solution than just 25% off of parts. I feel my washer is to new to have this many issues and I explained that to customer relations as well. I am stuck with a washer that will cost more to fix if that even fixes it and nothing else breaks after that. I would prefer a replacement of the same washer if possible. I feel even if parts are replaced it may still be an issue with this unit in the future.Business Response

We purchased a GE dryer less than a year ago and the drum has become completely detached from the dryer frame. We contacted GE with a warranty claim, and they sent a tech out to our house 4 days later. The tech said he did not have the equipment to repair the dryer, and that a new drum would need to be ordered thru GE. It has been nearly 3 weeks, and after numerous phone calls to GE and the Repair tech company, nobody is offering a solution to repair the issue. We are being given the run around, placed on hold, given false ETAs, given false information about anticipated repair time. The lack of effort on GE's part to make this right is unacceptable. Nobody is making an effort to keep us in touch with updates. We are constantly asking for updates and being given false information from both sides. GE says the drum has arrived at the repair tech center. The repair tech center is saying this is simply not true and GE is being dishonest.
We need a resolution asap. It is unacceptable for us to have purchased a new dryer in good faith and it didn't even survive the manufacturer's warranty period, and there is no effort being made to make it right or replace the unit.Business Response

I bought a gas range and when the oven is on it produces so much heat and exhaust that you can not cook on the range top or even be in the kitchen. We need to be able to use the oven for cooking and we can not. This unit is not fit for its intended use. I did a little experiment with the oven on 350 degrees, in 40 minutes the kitchen temperature went from 77 to 89 degrees and that was with the house AC on and the overhead fan on. Within 30 minutes you could smell the exhaust throughout the entire house. I would like a gas range that does not have this issue. GE claims that it is working as designed but this is unusable.Business Response

Dryer started making loud noises when tumbling after a little over a month of use. Contacted GE since it was under manufacturers warranty. Repair man came and found signs of damage to front and side panel. He was told to order parts and repair. Contacted me when parts arrived to inform me they arrived damaged and he has to reorder. Now I have to use a laundromat with my own money for at least 2 more weeks with a dryer I paid $500+ for sitting at home.Business Response

The refrigerator i purchased (on 5/10/25-delivered on 5/11/25) for a rental unit DID NOT cool. When the tenant moved in on 5/27/25 she noticed it. I called GE for a repair, the repair was schedule for 5/30/25. The tech was not able to repair and ordered parts and said the earliest it can be repaired was June 13th. The parts came in today (6/6/25), therefore I called to schedule the service call and was told that it's already scheduled for 6/13 that the tech was on vacation. I asked if another tech can be discharged to this location and was told that there is only one tech for the area. I was put on hold so that the rep can seek other tech. She came back to the line to tell me that she was not able to find anyone else. Said if I can find a repair company to install the parts, that they would reimburse $250, I contacted a couple and was told that they wouldn't do it because that would be risking the warrantee. This is so unacceptable from GE's part. Initially I requested a replacement refrigerator and I was told no, because they had to go thru protocol by trying to repair it. I had no issue with that but when you have no tech's to come and install that is where my issue come in. The tenant lost her frozen goods because of this ordeal, unacceptable. Please assist. THANK YOU! Please note that the refrigerator is located at 805 Industrial Ave., #30, Inglewood, CA 90302 at a rental.Business Response

My daughter purchased me a washer dryer stack in May of 2024 and it’s been the most unpleasant experience. I’ve had three brand new damaged or defective units delivered straight out of the box that has never worked properly . 7 maintenance visits along with at least 10 calls begging for help with a different new product or refund and have not been able to get any resolve. I’ve gone back and forth with the business I bought it from and the company that manufactures the product and have been given the runaround. They have replaced the product and have taken it apart 3 times and it still doesn’t work properly. I’ve asked for a new product not made by GE as the technicians have advised that this particular product has major problems that causes quite the headache and recommends a different brand. I go back and forth with Best Buy and GE and no one seems to know what to do. They have been dragging this out a year and now my warranty is at its expiration, which I stressed the urgency of rectifying the issue in a timely manner so as not to meet the warranty expiration and they continued to procrastinate without any resolution. I’ve been met with ridicule when requesting management. I honestly believe I’ve been pushed back and ignored because of my age and their desire to not fulfill their obligations to provide me with a proper working product.Business Response
