1 starPiece of garbage company don’t ever buy from them! I just purchased a very expensive fridge from them. Not only did I receive a broken fridge, they did not want to exchange it for me. They sent a technician to fix the fridge but he refused to look at it since it was a week old. I have been in the hospital for the past 3 months and my “new” fridge is so loud and it makes noises worse than the hospital machines. I have trauma from the hospital machines as it is I don’t need to bring that home with me. All I asked for was an exchange, and I swear talking to the air I might get a better answer. GE DOESNT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS, THEY ARE GREEDY PIECES OF SH!T THAT ONLY CARE ABOUT GETTING THEIR MONEY!Review fromRashmi V

1 starTo the GE team, it is very disheartening that you have such poor performing appliances made and sold. Your After sales suck and your products do much more. Our GE refrigerator with 2 door is just 5 months old (2022 model) and is already broken down as the compressor stopped working. We have been in touch with your customer support since late November since it broke down and until today which is Jan 1st we dont have it fixed. The GE customer support are so poorly equipped that they dont know how to track the history of the case, we have to wait for hours together to get connected to a representative and after that we have to repeat our sad saga of how and when the refrigerator broke down. Imagine in a country like US,can anybody with a small kid at home survive without a refrigerator for more than a month? This is how much your product and customer service sucks. The third party teams you have engaged with are not in line with your team and they too name that GE is a mess. Can you please look into our concern and help with a resolution so we could feel better? We really want to think of options to claim our damages as there is no help and this is cruel to make us wait this long. I really hope you still do take care of your after sales and will call back. Looking forward to hearing from you.Review fromKatie D.

1 starMy review is ZERO stars but 1 was the lowest rating I could give. I was scheduled to use GE Appliance repair for our GE refrigerator through my home warranty company. (Refrigerator only cools to 50 degrees). My fiancée took off work for the day as they could only give us an 8am-5pm timeframe for arrival. They called the wrong number (not the main number given to them). I did not answer as I was out of town. My fiancée was at our home all day and they never called him (the primary number). My appointment was immediately cancelled when I did not answer. I called back within 10 minutes and was not able to be connected to dispatch. They refused to reschedule my appointment. After 45 minutes speaking to customer service (who was incredibly rude and appeared bothered by my call) they connected me with a customer liaison. She agreed they were in the wrong but was unable to reschedule the appointment for the same day or reschedule the appointment at all. I was forced to call our home warranty to reschedule the appointment and now have to wait another 10 days WITHOUT a working refrigerator. I will NEVER buy a GE appliance again.Review fromJill I.

1 starI would give no stars if I could. Horrible customer service, horrible product! Bought a refrigerator 2 1/2 months ago that I cannot use. About a three weeks ago the freezer started randomly going out. Works sometimes, and then stops working. The first serviceman that came out said he could not do anything since it was working when he was here. The second serviceman told us to call when it wasn’t working, which I did when both the refrigerator and freezer went out. He told me it sounded like it was the compressor and he was not certified to handle the Freon. Tried to schedule service again and they do not have anyone in this area available, told me to call customer service, which is a joke trying to get someone on the phone. I have an empty refrigerator/freezer sitting in my kitchen that is 2 1/2 months old and I need help!
GE needs to stand by their products.Review fromKaren T

1 starI bought a brand new GE washer and dryer from Lowe’s, upon my first use of the washer and hearing how horribly loud it was I called Lowe’s but they had a 48 hour return policy so I messaged GE and sent a video!
My response from them was alarming, they said it’s “normal”, I wrote back and said I beg to differ as I’ve bought quite a few sets in my day and never had this issue! They refuse to help!Review fromDan B

1 starMy wife and I purchased a GTW451 washing machine about three months ago. We are very disappointed with the design. The drum rotates slightly back-and-forth and does not agitate or scrub the clothes. Of the five washers we have purchased over the past 30 years this one is very disappointing. The whites no longer come out clean and the grease in my clothes no longer come out, this has never been an issue in the past. It is not the fault of the store but GE will not exchange or give us a refund. It is clearly a design flaw all the clothes do not agitate like the machines in days gone by. We ended up buying a used washing machine which performs exactly as it should and our clothes now come out clean again. When shopping for a new washing machine watch out that you get a machine which aggressively agitates the clothes.Review fromLaurie F

1 starI bought a Top Load 6cubic GE washing machine and dryer from Home Depot in April 2022. These are the most frustrating appliances I have ever bought and terrible service from GE. They have sent out appliance repair people 3 times now. The products are have design flaws. The washer goes off balance very easily even with 5 pairs of jeans or a load of towels. I have not even attempted to wash my king comforter (which is why I wanted a large washer). When it goes off balance it is EXTREMELY frustrating. Items are soaking wet and the drain and spin cycle just keeps adding more water (a lot more) and I have had to shut off the breaker or jiggle the basket and fiddle around to get it to work again. I have to wash my towels in two loads because it cannot handle washing 3/4 full of towels. It is the same amount of laundry I washed in a smaller samsung without issue for years!! The sensors on both the washer and dryer are useless. The dryer senses my clothes are dry and I go look and still damp. Takes forvever to do my laundry. I am losing my mind dealing with GE and Home Depot to get credit for at least the washer. Worst appliances I have ever ever owned and they keep trying to "fix" it. It is a design flaw that cannot be fixed because sometimes they work but for the most part they do not work properly at all. I dont know why the dryer has selections because they don't work so a repair guy told me to just use the manual time selection of minutes....well why even have a :"jeans" or "towels" option if they don't work and the items don't dry????? Terrible engineering. Avoid!!Review fromShaniea A

1 starI have own G.E. appliances for over 10+ years now. Recently, I decided to change my G.E. Stainless Steel appliances to Black Stainless Steel. On my first delivery, the microwave was dented and the refrigerator was damaged as well. Then, I received my new microwave a week later, but the refrigerator was now on back order. About 3 days later, the microwave fan started turning on and off for hours. I called in to the company and was assigned a third party company to come look at it. That company never showed up and a week later the microwave stopped working all together. On December 3rd, my new refrigerator arrived and to my amazement it was damaged as well. I was told by the delivery company I will get a replacement on January 7th. Since I don't use a dishwasher, I am not sure if there is problems with it. I spent over $7,800 for these appliances and they are total junk. Mind you all of these appliances have had major issues within days of delivery. I am sooooo disgusted with this company and the 3rd party vendors they have hired to delivery their products. Customers beware and verify, verify, verify your products on delivery!Review fromMiranda R

1 starI ordered a brand new washer and dryer and had it delivered on Nov 12th. Since then the dryer has not worked! They refused to send me a new one until I paid an appliance man to look at it. I paid a $250 service fee for an appliance me to write down it’s dead, and I have been waiting 3 weeks to hear back from GE. We are almost two months in with a dead dryer and poor help and communication from GE. Very un happy.Review fromRen S

1 starOn November 24, 2020, we ordered a Café Double Oven Electric Range via HomeDepot (Model # CES750P2MS1, $2797), and the product was delivered in January, 2021. In February 2021, the glass top of the range broke. We had it repaired using warranty and did not say anything.
In September 2021, the range broke again. To the best of our knowledge, if a product was bad twice in one year, it has a very high probability that the product is a defective one, and it needs to be recycled. We requested to exchange one. The customer service refused the request and provided one additional year for warranty. Although we were not happy, we accepted it.
In October 2022, the range broke again. Because this is the third time within less than two years, there is an extremely high likelihood that the range will be bad again very soon if we choose to repair it, and it will cost lots of time and money. We strongly requested to exchange . However, we were told that this product does not qualify for exchange because it was bad for three times, and only a four times one is qualified for exchange. We strong disagree with this statement. As customers, when we purchase the product, GE never disclosed and explained this policy to us. If we knew it early, we definitely would not buy this product. What is more ridiculous, we were offered to register on GE Appliances Store online to buy a new product with a small discount. All those from GE Appliance are totally UNFAIR and unacceptable to the customers.
In less than two years, the range has been bad for three times. For each time, we had to make appointments with the technician to check and repair, and we had to wait in line for several weeks for each technician appointment, resulting in a period of almost two months that we had no range to use and we had to have a miserable life without range. Overall, the range did not work in almost 25% life-time in less than two years. It is totally trash.
