      I bought GE monogram appliances in February 2019. Within 1 month my stove had issues with the burners. They would click and turn off by themselves. They came out and fixed it. About six months later the igniter went out. They came and fixed it. The burner started doing the same thing as before so we scheduled another appt. It always took weeks before a service tech came out. In the beginning you deal with it but after 5 service calls in 3 years it gets old. The igniter went out on November 8th. They scheduled a tech to come out November 19th. The time window was 8-5. No one showed up or called. We stayed home all day and we received no courtesy call. I had no stove for Thanksgiving. This is the 3rd igniter we have put in. He just came and put the 3rd igniter in. The GE tracker said he would be here between 3:40 and 5:40. He showed up at 2:40. You would think they would be on the same time zone..? These appliances were expensive. You do not get what you pay for. We've had other issues with our dishwasher but the warranty is up and we had someone else fix it. They did pay for the part and labor since we've had so many problems with the same stove. That is the only reason they are getting 2 stars.

      They refuse to address an issue with their induction range. The self cleaning cycle must’ve warped parts inside and they won’t fix it. We had purchased the warranty on it through Assurant and GE will not give permission to Assurant to try and fix the issue. Their reasoning is that the oven still gets hot, which it does, but it sounds like a rocket ship in our kitchen. I paid a premium for this range and it is a shame that GE won’t address the defect in their product because it is wonderful otherwise. However based on this issue alone and GE not taking responsibility, I can never recommend GE.

      I purchased a GE profile oven on 12/3/22, it was delivered on 12/7/22 and the oven stopped working on 12/15/22.
      I called GE on 12/16/22 and they scheduled a service call for me the same day. Initially the tech said oh a wire was loose and was about to leave, but I made sure he checked it again - it was not fixed! I was then told I need a new control/user board for my BRAND new oven which will take at least 3-5 business days to arrive. Once they receive the part I can schedule a repair so I will now most likely not have an oven for the holidays. GE refused to just replace my brand new oven even though it stopped working after 1 week!!! Awful! Don’t but GE!!!!

      If I could give a negative review I would. Absolutely WORST customer service! Do not buy their cafe dishwasher. Purchased brand new cafe dishwasher and after using it 2 times it stopped drying or finishing the cycle. Called to get it fixed as they have a warranty took a week to get someone out and technician said the motherboard wasn’t working and would take 2 weeks to order the part and replace it. Well 2 weeks came and went and NOTHING. Called again to complain and they said the part was on back order. By the the time I get the part it’s over a month later!!!! This entire time washing dishes by hand wasting water and spending more money eating out! I have to call again to let them know we have the parts (which the sent twice like idiots) and have someone come out to fix it. Waiting another week which was the soonest available to fix it. That was today and now they say some other part needs to be replaced and it will take another week!!!! If I go to the store to buy the exact same dishwasher I’d have it sooner. But they refuse to replace the unit. They said I have to just keep replacing parts until it’s fixed. In the meantime I’m just waiting and eating the damages spending more money. I will NEVER buy GE again and will make it my mission to let everyone know hay this company is the absolute worst!

      GE has put a RFID chip on the refrigerator filters requiring you to buy their proprietory filters at an exorbinant price. Legal esoteric jargon may explain their actions, but in laymans terms, it's because they can. Hopfully it ends up sucking for them.

      Bought microwave JVM6175YK5FS for over $400 September 2021, upon delivery had to send to send two back because they were obviously damaged, the third one finally delivered October 2021, it broke in May of 2022 and it was repaired (it took over three weeks) and now has broken again (does not heat anything) in Dec of 2022. It is three months out of warranty so am SOL. This GE product is a POS. If there were zero stars I'd give it the goose egg.

      I will never buy a GE product again. I got a white GE cafe fridge. Never has the ice maker worked. I have have multiple service providers out and now have deemed the fridge is non repairable. GE is saying they haven’t received the proper notes to proceed with replacement but in the meanwhile I’m having to buy ice. The customer relation lady told me today if I keep calling they will not call me back. Super disappointed in the overall experience. Don’t not waste your money. Your time in getting it resolved is too valuable

      The worse customer service EVER!! Every time we arranged an appointment for the repair of our appliance, they gave us a date and a time frame but NOBODY came in. They lack the minimal professionalism and seriousness that is the trade mark of any respectable company in America.

      I ordered a water softener from GE Appliances online in July of 2021. It was backordered and I did not receive it until April of 2022. Seven months later I woke up to the sound of flowing water. The water softener had ruptured on the seam just above the brine tank during a recharge cycle. I called GE and they informed me that someone would be contacting within 48 business hours. Two weeks later and they inform me only after I call that they are still looking for a service tech. Was planning to file a complaint however it states that BBB cannot process if it was bought more than a year ago. I paid for the unit in 2021 but due to back order did not receive until this year.

      GE has terrible customer service.Early in October my girlfriend gifted me with a brand new washer/dryer (I have had it for 7 weeks and never used it bc of the challenges I’m about to explain). She lives in Arkansas (wanted to stay anonymous) and we hadn’t seen each other for over 23 years. She told me to pick out the appliance and I did from Home Depot in trotwood - It was delivered but it was electric instead of gas. Home Depot brought the right one but installed it improperly (gas was leaking) and had to come back (I can give you dates and recorded text messages to verify all of this). Once the HomeDepot left I realized the dryer worked but the washer didn’t. I call them back and they/HomeDepot come back out staying I need to call GE bc they made it and it’s on them to fix it or give me another. Called GE man comes name Dan #305. He stated he must order parts to repair new appliance and 11.18.22 he returns only to find out he forgot one part so he could not repair. He left never giving me a return date. I call GE (Case# 08936172) and Michelle said around 11.29.22. Help me if you can just have them take this defected appliance back and give me another.
