      If I could give them zero stars I would. We bought GE ultra fresh washer and dryer. We had Lowe’s come out three times within the first two weeks, after that GE came out four times for our washer violently shaking and it’s loud. The unit is balanced properly. First it was our floors, was told to get plywood to put under it. The issue persisted. Then we were told the pedestals were originally installed wrong, fixed that. Issue still persisted. Then we we were told it’s just something it does between 200-300 RPMs. Now it’s because the washer has too much soap in it. Which we don’t know how when the detergent is in the smart dispense, so the washer automatically puts however much it needs in it. Every time they come out it’s something different. They won’t replace the unit either. I was told they need to keep sending service techs out because it isn’t a major mechanical issue. Their customer service is very poor. We spent so much money on this washer and dryer set and had nothing but issues with it. For GE not to take ownership of this issue we've been having since we bought this set on February 2nd of this year is beyond appalling.

      Never ever buy a GE window air conditioner unit! They will not replace it!! Even with there extended warranty!! They are liars! And everyone of there service reps are disgustingly rude!!!!!!!!!!

      @two year old microwave. Baked potato as usual, using potatoes button, microwave completely burned. Fire alarms went off and firman here. General Electric is blaming the potato. Would not even check sensor system. Blew me off. Someone will not be as lucky as me and get hurt or worse. Treated me like I was at fault when it was clearly a malfunction. No apology and charged me for new microwave. I can’t let it go because I’ve been using microwaves since they came out. If I can’t get their attention to admit it could have been a malfunction I wan ti be reimbursed for both microwaves.

      Same experience as many others have written about with our less than 3 year old $2,300 refrigerator. It started icing up in the back and then won’t stay cold. Had to wait 2 weeks for a tech to come out and tell us he couldn’t diagnose it because we had defrosted it. Started it back up made another appt had to wait another two weeks same tech shows up and says he can’t diagnose it because it’s full of ice. I tell him I can’t wait another 2 weeks without food in the house he offers to order parts. He’s just gonna start throwing parts at it at my expense. Customer service is terrible puts you on hold forever then offers to sell a new fridge at a discount. Why would I buy another one from GE? Never again!

      We purchased a "Top-of-the-line" $1200 GE Profile dishwasher. Within three months, the unit had failed. Someone came out to try to fix it, and replace a part. They failed to diagnose the problem. The unit failed again within two months. We've had three different people try to fix the problem. Each time, something else was wrong with the unit. On the third replacement, it was determined that the dishwasher had been leaking the whole time, and now we have mold in our walls that will take months to repair and replace. Do not even think about giving GE one dollar of your money.

      I placed a service call and the service person Kirk came and identified the problem and I approved the repair. Upon checking GE parts inventory, Kirk informed me that GE DOES NOT make the parts anymore , So he cannot fix the refrigerator anymore.
      So why should I pay for the trip when you don't have the parts to repair?
      I gave all the info regarding my refrigerator why it is not working. Before they came they should have checked if the parts were in the inventory!
      Refund my $ 138.00 and thank you for your help.

      I purchased almost 10k in appliances with GE online on June 23, 2022. All i get is a confirmation of purchase and nothing else. None of the items ordered showed as "Backordered" or "Out of Stock". Otherwise, I would have gone an alternate route. We are in the process of closing on our new home on July 29th, 2022 and need appliances upon move in. I call GE customer service 2 weeks after my purchase to get a status. The young lady i spoke to told me that ALL of my appliances were reserved (meaning available to me) and that a rep would contact me to give me delivery date. Today is July 19th and i have called 2 times after that conversation stating my items were reserved. Spoke to a rep named Crystal, who tells me that my items are ALL backordered. Fails to tell me WHEN they will become available or if im even going to be getting them delivered anytime soon. So at this point im not sure if i will ever get my appliances. I call today and speak to Carleen, Carleen tells me that SOME of the items are available (but doesn't specify if they are reserved to me) and that some are backordered. I still have 10k being held hostage, no word on appliances being available or even a date at this point. This is a sign of inconsistent customer service, poor communication and lack of customer satisfaction!!!!!!!!!! I need to know whether I will be moving in with my appliances or not.

      Bought two GE Air Conditioners during Covid. One was a 12,000 btu from ***** costing $598. The Led Panel burned out right after a year. Now we have to keep clicking the remote (which works terribly) until the compressor kicks in. Then it goes up and down constantly. Seems like a Fire Hazard. No one at GE cared at all. Their Customer support is useless and ***** doesn't do anything at all after a few months. GE is totally trash. Definitely not the stand up American Business we grew up with. Sold out. I am making this written complaint to Warn People. This could be a Fire Hazard but it is definitely a piece of trash!!. No relief for us this summer. Next one wont be a GE. *Don't waste your money or safety on a GE Air conditioner.
      They sold to CHINA - Google just confirmed the sale.

      Purchased a portable ac little over a year ago. Used it for 4 months, stored it, took it back out to use it, unit doesn’t cool down. Contacted them twice, never heard back from them. Can’t be repaired or serviced by anyone else. Now we are out $600.

      Why does this company exist in the days of ******? Long story short. Purchased GE Profile Refrigerator 3 years ago. I have four small kids and bought this unit because k thought it would last 10 years. It went out. I’m on day 51 without a refrigerator. GE haggled about replacing it for weeks. Finally they agreed to replace it for a prorated amount. At first they asked if I’d pay the exact same amount that I purchased the unit for. The replacement delivery arrived without warning. The delivery company called to tell us they were leaving because we were not home. They yelled at us and told us it was our fault. We rescheduled delivery and the company said they could not install it. They yelled profanities, slammed the back door and drove away. They showed up again at 9:30 on Sunday Evening to deliver. There was a big dent in the front door of the refrigerator. I’m still waiting on a solution. This has been the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. Find a company that cares about its customers. Do not buy GE appliances.
