      I bought a GE washer/dryer combo for over $2,000, and it was defective right out of the box. Since then, I've been dragged through an exhausting, infuriating nightmare of nonexistent customer service and total corporate indifference.
      There have been six separate repair appointments, each with a 9-hour window. Not once has a technician shown up. Not once. I have taken over a full week off of work, losing income and time, waiting for someone who never comes. I was offered a $75 gift card. As if that somehow makes up for the money and time I’ve lost.
      GE’s Consumer Relations department has been completely useless. I’ve spent hours on the phone, given conflicting information as to a path forward, told “someone will follow up,” and given empty promises with zero accountability. Weeks later, I still have a broken appliance and no solution in sight.
      To make matters worse, GE contracts out their repairs to third-party companies who clearly don’t care and are not held accountable by GE. I’ve been left chasing shadows with no real support, just endless frustration and no resolution.
      This company does not stand by its products, and it certainly doesn’t care about its customers once they’ve got your money. I expected a reliable product and basic customer service. Instead, I’ve been handed a $2,000 paperweight and a wall of apathy from a company that clearly doesn't care.
      Do not buy GE. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the time you’ll never get back.

      I bought a house with a GE modular downdraft stovetop. Installed in 1997. That stovetop was minutes away from burning down my entire house, because it DOESN'T HAVE A HOT STOVETOP WARNING LIGHT BY DESIGN. Only pure luck and a good fire alarm saved my house from burning down.
      I contacted the company because I'm sure that, not being to code, that must have had a recall.
      They sent me to a website o their own for a discounted part. That part was around $2000.
      The thing is I documented the contact with them, and if anything happens to my house there will certainly be a lawsuit.

      absolutely terrible customer service! We purchased a range and fridge directly from GEs website and after 11 months we were cooking something in the oven and put the hot pan on the stove top and it popped sending cracking every which way, when they sent a technician out, he told me strait up that they were probably going to say it was misuse and to keep on them. well over a year and a half later they no longer make the stove (probably because it was terrible quality) and i have escalated it through the BBB and they’re refusing to replace the stove top, stating it’s from misuse. the lady i spoke to Tania, from Mabe said it’s in their manual to not put something hot on the glass top if it hasn’t been previously heated up, i found my manual and no where does it say that. She basically accused me of lying and was also very condescending and when i asked to speak to someone higher she said she makes the decision and the decision is no. Terrible terrible customer service. I have read over 100 reviews and there are a ton of people who have experienced similar issues and had the same responses.

      In February I bought a brand new dryer when we recieved it I did 3 loads and it was making a loud noise so we had the GE repair guy come out and he looked at it he found problems with the wheels the motor the belt etc…. He ordered parts came back and fixed it after we used it 2 times it happened again the same repair man came out and found the same problems he suggested we get a brand new dryer but the company refused they ordered parts again and he came out and fixed it I have a feeling it will break again. If it breaks again like I expect then I will take advantage of the ********-moss warranty act and sue them.

      Bought a new GE side by side fridge. The ice maker freezes up regularly and now after changing the water filter that is a GE filter I get an Err code and no water gets dispense. I’ve had the fridge for 2-3 years.

      We bought the several Cafe series appliances and overall we have been very happy with the appliances. However, the drawer microwave started sparking. I had service techs come out and the unit was deemed not repairable. It was nothing we did and looks like the coating came off some of the rollers. We have only had the unit a little over 2 years and have not even been using it that long. I have to pay over $400 for a new one to be sent. I also paid the roughly $115 for a service person who couldn't do anything. It's obnoxious that they obviously have no pride in their products. Because they are not willing to replace them when there are manufacturer defects. I am truly disappointed in GE and their service. I had been raving about our appliances. But, now I am going to do the opposite and tell my friends, family and neighbors to spend a bit more and go high end. We spent just under $20,000 on everything which is a lot of money. I am truly disgusted..

      I'll never buy another ge appliance, dryer didn't last 4 years and service dept. Is useless. Paid for fastest delivery for part( in stock) and everyday fed ex pushes delivery date back another day. Ordered part Sunday, its Thursday and now fed ex is telling me Monday.( yesterday they told me today.) Ge service dept was more concerned about me filling out survey.

      I purchased a GE Profile Washer without Agitator and within 6 months the lid hinge cracked. It was replaced under warranty. The new lid cracked within 6 months of replacement. According to the internet there is some sort of manufacturors defect that causes the hindge to crack and prevent the washer lid from locking so you can wash. They refuse to replace the lid and will charge me in excess of $300.00 to replace for the 3rd time. I will have to repair it in order to SELL IT! Do not buy this flimsy washer. I have learned my lesson and a ***** ***** is headed my way. Shame on you GE.

      I have been waiting for a dryer to be fixed for a month. They said they would send someone out and no one showed up I bought a brand new dryer from **** ***** and I have to rely on an unprofessional company to honor the warranty. I have my wife 3 kids and my mother in law that live with me. What am I supposed to do with my cloths I can’t wash. This is how they treat 100% combat disabled veterans.

      Miserable company with a process that fails in every direction. They do not value their customers what so ever, and continue to make poor excuses for their operational downfalls. They take no accountability of their actions what so ever and expect their customers to be ok with less then poor outcomes. Do yourself a favor an use another appliance manufacturer. They don't even deserve the one star you are obligated to provide.
