      1 ½ year old GE Profile appliances Fridge cooling fan and evap fan both went out. Ice maker is a joke. Can’t make ice fast enough to keep up in the summer. We end up buying ice. Theres water all over the bottom of the fridge due to drain plug issues, fans going out. Service call expensive or wait and order the part from Amazon. Dishwasher drain pump out. Stove gas burner only lights half way (it’s clean). The oven cooks unevenly. I have a 20 year old Samsung refrigerator that still works perfectly!
      Save your money avoid GE profile!

      We purchased a washing machine a few months in advance for our new construction. It was a GE topload Profile Washer. We haven't even used it one year and the control panel is already out, which means the washer is of no use, unless we purchase a new control panel for around $500+ dollars. GE has been so difficult to contact to discuss our unique situation. We purchased our GE appliances mo the before even using them because they would be used in our new build. We out the appliances to use around October of 2023. We also had a close friend purchase the same washer, after seeing ours. His washer also had the same issue in less than one year of use.
      Please refrain from purchasing this washer and, possibly any GE appliance due to their poor customer service.
      With all of our appliances that we purchased ($22,000 in total), they have done nothing for us in terms of a good faith replacement or even just supplying the control panel for replacement.
      Now, as a family of 4, I'm having to take multiple trips to the laundromat. Spending more unnecessary money until we officially hear back to GE or their service tech to officially.diagnose the issue. We are now going on three weeks without a washer and/or hearing anything back.
      Don't purchase GE.
      Also, we were promised a substantial rebate, being the reason we purchased so many GE appliances and recieved nothing. Talked to a GE representative and we were just days out from supplying our info for the rebate and they wouldn't honor it.

      I purchased a new fridge and has not worked since day one. After 5 visits from a C******* tech ( who was amazing), the refrigerator still does not work after changing out several parts. C******* tech said they have done everything thing they can and now they are having to come back again with a GE engineer. This has been going on for 5 months. Wasting my time and C********* resources. I could have been replaced with a new fridge in the money they have wasted on sending a tech an hour away 6 different times. Never again will a GE product be bought.

      I listened to my elderly mother call GE customer service because a service technician never showed up for the 1pm appointment she made; the washer broke down a few days ago. The first time my mom got hung up on by a woman named Angela, although Angela was able to find that my mom had an appointment scheduled. The second time she got through to a woman named Sharika who was EXTREMELY aggressive. How somebody like this could be employed in customer service is beyond me. This Sharika was yelling at my mom through the phone telling her she did not have an appointment scheduled for today. She yelled at my mom that some account details did not match up. Then she was screaming at her that she was out of warranty and would not be able to help her, even though my mom has a 5-year extended warranty. Finally, after listening to this go on I told my mom just to hang up. So despite having gone through GE customer service earlier this week to schedule an appointment, we decided to call the carrier of the extended warranty. While she was on the phone with the carrier customer service a GE tech showed up at her door. He said that this appointment was on his schedule all day and was not surprised that GE customer service couldn't find the appointment and that it happens all the time. In the end though, my Mom had to schedule another appointment through the extended warranty carrier because the GE service tech wasn't sure how to bill them and not us. However, he did come in and look at it and tell us what most likely needs to be fixed. I want to be sure to note the GE tech was very professional and nice and he did not need to do anything since my mom didn't want to pay out of pocket but was courteous enough to take a look at the washer anyway. It was truly these customer service reps that were an utter disgrace to the field they are in. You would honestly find more worth in a dumpster fire than these people.

      I bought A GE Profile Smarter Laundry washing machine. My husband bought this for me as a replacement to an older model. Ibwas so excited to get a new washer machine and have fresh fluffy good smelling laundry again. My excitement quickly became a nighmare. GE has lost full credibility with this product. It obviously didn't go through QA/QC before being sent to the public market. It takes 4 hours and 47 minutes to wash and dry only 6 towels!!!! That is the time they are in the washing machine and when I go to get the towel after that it sprays water on them before I can get them out. The filter has to be taken apart and cleaned and rinsed nearly every single wash, underwear and socks get soaked and stuck in the rubber seal around the opening of the washer. That seal has to be cleaned every single time. My clothes do NOT ever get clean. They smell dirty and are dingy and wrinkly. I can't just wash something or just dry something. I can't dry anything without it getting even more wet. The Smart Dispenser is full but always says it is empty. There is no way to clean out the water catch area without spilling a huge puddle (on my wood floor). It takes so long to run one cycle that only one load can get done a day. It takes me a whole week to empty one small hamper of clothes! I asked for a different washing machine from GE and they said I need 4 service calls so they can say it's nonrepairable. Yeah, dont take the customers word for it GE! Everytime I have a service call, I have to spend two weeks doing laundry at a laundry mat. Then the big heavy machine has to be moved outside to be drained. Thebtechs never know hownto properly repair it, like this machine will ever be able to be repaired. Its a design flaw, plain and simple. This is ridiculous that an American company does this to people. They are literally stealing from people by selling a product they know doesnt work. I know I am not the only customer with these complaints. BBB please do your job and look into this

      I have never experienced customer service this bad. We are going on a month without a dishwasher, and with no way of getting are money back. They came out with a part that was already broke, and when you try and call, they are rude and not helpful. I wish there was a way to fix business like this, they get so big they don’t care about the customer. The only thing we can do as you can see by these ratings is to talk people out of buying their products.

      I purchased a GE portable AC online in June 2024. It made all kinds of noises like it was falling apart from the moment I turned it on. I am a senior citizen and had a friend help me put the hose housing in my window. The pieces did not fit and he had to cut them to make them fit. Musty smells came out of the unit in operation. I complained and they sent me a rebate to replace it. I just want people to know that I got a horrible cough from the exhaust even though it was set up properly. I would warn people NEVER to purchase a portable AC. It cooled well, I cleaned the filters, but something is very wrong with the engineering of these uints. Buyer beware of becoming sick from GE portable air conditioners.

      Got a dishwasher with my house and after a few months the water quit pumping. Service guy said the par number wasn’t the same as what it was supposed to have in it. They set up a replacement delivery which showed up not working at all. Service rep said they have to have another tech come look at it to confirm in order to replace it. I’m 2 months now without an appliance and had to rearrange work and child care for all the run around.

      Customer Service is just horrible. I purchased my washer and dryer two years ago and it's been down hill every since.
      When I bought, the delivery company was trying to deliver my product separately. This would've meant I'd have to be home two separate times.
      It took them over two weeks to deliver it with proper directions.
      Now may washer needs to be serviced and it's been over three weeks and they've misdiagnosed. Plus I have to remove the dryer from the top so it can be serviced. I'll be running to another product soon.

      I purchased the washer/dryer combo in January, It stopped washing anything in June. Several hours on hold and talking to people got me a service appointment. The repair guy was 4 hours late and said he didn't know what was wrong and left. Two weeks and many phone calls later they sent someone else. This guy ordered parts, and in two weeks installed them. It still didn't work. He told me to ask GE to replace or refund. When I called GE they insisted it can be repaired still. I'm not sure how they think that's going to happen? So I'm going on 3 months of no laundry machine and no way forward from GE.
