      GE dishwasher model number GDP665SYNFS
      We purchased this dishwasher 2.5 years ago. From the beginning it did not clean well and takes up to 24 hours to dry the dishes, with the door open. It stopped working after 2 years and needed a replacement sensor. Since then, the sensor has been replaced but the dishwasher still leaves a film on the dishes and does not dry well at all. I would advise against purchasing this dishwasher, we will not be purchasing GE again. We did reach out to GE regarding these issues and were offered an upgraded model with delivery, installation and warranty but we would need to pay an additional $421.79 on top of what we have already paid for the original dishwasher and repairs. We are concerned that if we take the upgrade and pay more money than was originally budgeted for a dishwasher, we will be disappointed. After spending more time researching GE products, we have found that they have a poor rating on consumer reports. We will be looking at Bosch for our future needs, they have excellent consumer reports.

      I bought GE appliances locally for my kitchen remodel in November 2022. I purchased 3 yr protection plan for: refrigerator, dishwasher and gas stove. Unfortunately, I did not purchase plan for microwave(also GE). I did have to have icemaker replaced on frig in August 2023 as a piece of plastic locking the ice release broke. I believe it is due to poor design as you have to be VERY CAREFUL when opening/closing freezer drawer, as it moves side to side(which it SHOULD NOT)when coming out for access to contents. My complaint however is for the microwave which stopped working just before my one year warranty was up. GE replaced the control board and here was the problem: the first control board was the wrong one, the second one DID NOT WORK, the third one worked even though there appeared to be a dimple in the plastic cover of control board. Because I had had an issue with the original board, I had hoped that GE would replace it once more when MW stopped working - no heat, turntable stopped working. OF COURSE GE WILL DO NOTHING!!! I WILL NEVER BUY GE AGAIN! QUALITY IS NOT IN THEIR VOCABULARY. AND WHY SHOULD WE EVEN HAVE TO BUY PROTECTION PLANS????? CUSTOMER SERVICE AT GE IS NON-EXISTENT!!!

      GE has been putting out garbage!! These products should last approximately 10 years but the washer/dryer we have is a little over 2 years old and it's terrible and they don't stand behind their products! Don't buy GE!!

      I recently purchased a GE oven that started to have issues after about 2 months. I called GE which contracts thru Bodewell to schedule a technician to fix it. The only thing he did was stand there and watch the oven fail and he said the electrical outlet was the issue. Even though he didn't even check the outlet to confirm. Note: The electrical outlet never lost power at anytime. Had to call bodewell dispatch again to ask for a technician that knows what he's doing. A week later they send the same guy and once again he does absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Had to call the store where I bought it and they let me return it and get a different brand oven. I will never buy GE again because if they can't hire service technicians that have a clue of what they are doing, then there products are worthless.

      GE Cafe Ref. would be required periodical Evaporator fan replacement.
      bought one in 2016 and failed in 2019 while it was under warranty.
      They didn't want to send Tech to do the repair but parts to replace with our own to save their $$$.
      Then, it fails again 2024 but since they didn't send the tech in 2019, they told me it wouldn't cover with 5 years parts warranty.
      They knows how to save their $$ during the warranty period so they don' need to send tech and also cover for longer periods.
      Almost a scam to me.
      Never buy GE again. Very disappointed.

      Bought a washer dryer set, the front load type to put in a second home, of which we barely used. I would say we used it when we went to that home about 20 times since purchase and it went bad. With only a year's warranty, we scheduled a service call. The tech called at 10:42 am, I missed the call, he called back at 11:01 I missed again and was suppose to have a 30 minute window. At 11:02 I called back and he had already cancelled the service appointment. I wont ever buy another GE appliance and I will replace this dryer with a Samsung, LG or Whirlpool. Their products or customer service is not even worth it!

      I recently purchased a brand-new Hotpoint washer from GE appliances by the way of Home Depot (2 1/2 weeks ago). It was delivered to my home on 07/31.
      I've never been able to utilize the washing machine. When attempted to use it on the 3rd day after delivery it did not work.
      I called Home Depot and was informed because it was passed 2 days, I had to go through the warranty department for replacement.
      It has been a terrible experience. Still as of today, I haven't been able to use the washing machine.
      The warrant company sent out a tech the next day (Monday) and the tech said the mainframe/ brain of the washing machine was defected and had to be replaced. Keep in mind, this is a brand-new machine.
      Fast forward- a week late, still no replacement. I've requested to be refunded, but GE appliance refuses to refund my money until they compare parts and hoping to find another part from another company to replace the original defective part.
      I've spoken to over 5 GE appliance consumer representatives and still have not been able to resolve this issue.
      The customer service is horrible, and I personally will never purchase another GE product based off this experience. The company can careless as to the troubles and issues that they have caused.
      -This type of customer service is unacceptable, and GE appliances need to be held accountable for their actions.

      I purchased a GE Refrigerator (model GTS22KGNRWW) from Lowes on 5/21/24. Lowes refused to do ANYTHING, said to call GE. I begin having problems within the first month of purchase, it is now 3 months later. I don't know how many reps I've spoken with, or emails I've sent. The refrigerator doors begin making noise when opened/closed, then i noticed small dents. GE said "it was outside the 7 day cosmetic warranty." As of today the noise continues they want to schedule a 4th appointment.
      Today I recorded a new sound and sent yet another email. I was again my warranty doesn't cover replacement only repair. i spent 1000.00 for this!

      I should I have looked here first to see all the other complaints. Our builder upgraded us to the GE stainless steel appliance package and a year in the dishwasher baskets rusted. Guess what of course the baskets weren’t covered by their warranty. Absolutely ridiculous! So we had to buy replacement baskets out of pocket a year in. Dishwashers should last 10 years. Fast forward to this year after having replaced all the baskets in 2021 both rusted yet again 3 years in. Even though they were supposed to be the new better ones. Well I reached out to their complaint department and basically they aren’t going to do anything. What I wanted was a refund for the terrible quality baskets I had to purchase after only a year of owning the appliance. I will no longer be wasting my time and money on any of their appliances or products. Run do not waste your money or time on this company they truly do not care.

      Will never purchase another GE product and will be letting everyone know how poorly this business cares about their consumers.
      We Have been dealing with customer support since April 2024 (bought unit in Nov 2023)The ice maker malfunctioned and caused the a huge pile of water ion my kitchen floor (destroying the grout and possibly subfloor below) Service tech tried to repair but was unsuccessful. A new unit was then sent but when it arrived the ice maker water line was cut in two. A new unit was then order and arrived on 8-13-24 (4 months later) the delivery team stated they could not deliver up my drive way and needed to borrow my pickup truck ( the last delivery was brought up by the delivery crew in their company truck but unit was damaged).
      Now I can not get anyone to return my calls. Case # 13961311`
