We had a trespasser trying to climb into our garage window a few days ago. I grabbed the Byrna pistol loaded with pepper spray. shot the intruder in the a** once to get his attention, ************ did not disburse/break open. this only angered the trespasser who came at me with a ***** club, (thank god he didn't have a gun) i shot at the intruder 4 times point blank range, 2 misfires, pepper ball fell out of barrel and fortunately the last 2 hit him in the face and chest. (**** didn't break,( no pepper spray was ever disbursed) this only slowed him for about 30 seconds or so but it was enough time for my girlfriend to come around the corner with a 20 gauge pistol grip shotgun to send him on his way. unfortunately here in the Ozarks their are plenty of meth heads to go around for people to shoot at.I reloaded the weapon twice more and fired 2 clips, 5 shots per clip, the weapon fired 5 times out of 10, 3 times the ball fell out of the barrel instead of firing!I tried to call Byrna tech. **** in ******* **. and even after i told them how the gun misfired multiple times and pepper spray ***** never broke open , they would not return my money, only offered to refurbish the weapon. The only good thing about this company was the person at customer service, she was in the U.S. I could understand her and she understood me, she was kind , courteous and polite. However - 'WASTE OF $425.00!! I wouldn't pay $25.00 for a weapon that wont fire!I bought this to keep wild dogs and such off my property and shoot them when need be while hiking, I went back to carrying my 9mm.

We apologize you have had an issue with your product. Byrna has been unsuccessful in our attempts to reach you so we can assist with getting this launcher repaired and in working order. This is not the normal operation of the launcher and we want to make sure to get these issues resolved so you have the product you paid for in perfect working order.
Since the launcher was purchased through a dealer last summer, we are not able to refund the purchase. The dealer may offer their own refund or return policy. Byrna does stand behind our products with our factory warranty and would love the opportunity to receive the launcher back in for inspection and repair so we can make this right for you.
Please respond to the emails we have sent or email ******************************* for assistance with getting a free RMA shipping label to send this in for inspection and repair at no cost to you.

5 starsI was on the fence fo a while to invest in something other than another real firearm for self defense. After watching many YT channels and testing, I decided this was an option for me. After talking to ****** with customer service, I felt very confident in his knowledge and abilities to answer questions I had. Thanks to his time spent with me going over my options and questions, I ordered the LE Pepper kit with a few extras as well. I have tested this LE model, and let me tell you, it was great to see what it actually can do. It also was shipped in a timely manner, and the contents were very well packed. Every tool has it's own purpose and need. This LE model is a great tool to carry around the yard/community as an extra just in case the tool for the job is needed. I also have a friend that can't legally own a firearm due to a stupid mistake when a very young man. He is looking into it, and has watched videos, and even shot mine a few times. 5 starsI bought the byrna SD love this as a non lethal carry. The shipping was super fast got it within 2 days. I had a small issue with a pepperball that cracked open, but I emailed them and ***** took care of the issue within minutes. This is the way to go for no leathel protection. I bought this for a daily carry to protect my elderly mother and myself. The world is getting crazy and you can't be to careful.
