    We bought the J9 unit in the latter part of March of this year, broke down 4 months later. We had to return it to the "service center" and after several days, they shipped it back to us in worse condition than when we shipped it. Called their "customer service" and was instructed to ship it back to them. Going on week two with no unit nor updates. Called the company several times only to get the scripted apologies for the inconvenience. ***** this company at all cost unless you just enjoy absolute frustration and getting the run around. Definitely do not recommend iRobot.

    This company is a fraud. Do not waste your money. Their corporate office ignores complaint letters and they don't stand behind their products because they know their products are no good.

    Like many of the complaints here, I have also owned my iRobot for over a year but under two. I just got off the phone with a customer service member named ********* telling me that I have to replace my product and theyd over me a trade in. Absolutely not! If thing doesnt work when its not even two years old why would you think I can trust your product. This will be the last iRobot product I purchase. They apparently arent built to last. Shameful!

    I have bought a braava jet m6 from this company and I only used it for 6 months. I had to store it due to furniture placement. I recently fixed my furniture placement and tried to set it up. When I noticed what I call the white ring of death. The reason I call it this is because after not being able to reset it up I called customer service and they did some troubleshooting over the phone and found out that this is an issue with the motherboard and there is not a fix. So instead of sending me a shipping label to get a new one they say we will give you a voucher to buy another one total scam in my opinion and the customer service *** even said that this is a known issue. Wow just wow these kinda of companies don't need to be able to rip people off of there hard earned money. And the whole reason I have even bought this is because I'm disabled and I thought this would make it easier for me. boy was I wrong this is despicable and needs to be ***orted.

    I purchased four robots from iRobots about two years ago. They were $799 each. Two for my company offices and two for my house.Two of them never performed properly. They constantly gave me malfunction issues I had to troubleshoot. About 6 months ago they both stopped working. I finally sat down and called support. They could not get them to work.They told me they would send me a coupon or let me trade in for $100 and I could purchase new ones instead.I paid $799 per robot and they did not even last 1 year. They stopped working consistently after year one.The headache they gave me is even worse with all the troubleshooting I had to do.They have a terrible business model. I am a very unhappy customer who your support team did not care about at all.The products are sub-par and they are scheming well intending, well-paying *********** would you feel if you had paid $799 each for two robots and were told two years later sorry there is nothing we offer to fix them when they dont function ************** is a coupon. Please buy more of our defective products.Unbelievable. I am speechless.I highly urge potential customers or investors away from this company.

    Title: Extremely Disappointed with iRobot's Service and Repair CostsRating: ?????I purchased an iRobot vacuum with the expectation of convenience and efficiency, but have been met with nothing but frustration. For about a few months, the vacuum has incessantly complained about the bin not being properly closed, despite numerous checks and adjustments on my part. Seeking a solution, I contacted their customer service, which, while courteous, ended up wasting about 25 minutes of my time walking me through basic troubleshooting steps that led nowhere. Their final suggestion was a repair that would cost me $250. This is utterly unreasonable, considering the vacuum itself is not much more expensive than the quoted repair cost. It seems illogical to pay such an amount for a repair that may well be due to a manufacturing fault.The lack of a reliable product and the high costs for repair have left me extremely disappointed. I am now considering purchasing a different brand of robot vacuum entirely, as it appears more cost-effective than continuing to invest in a faulty product. I expected much better from a well-known company like iRobot and am dismayed at the poor value and service I've received. Buyers, beware of potential hidden costs and be prepared for a possible letdown.

    I have owned several roomba robots from Irobot and they have done well for the most part. My issue is the customer service or lack there of when it comes to repairing an item. The company will push you to use the trade in program stating that a vacuum is not repairable when in fact it can be repaired. I understand that many people are not willing to take the time or may not have the technical ability to take a robot apart to fix an issue, but if an item can be repaired then do not say it cannot be. I have an S9 and was receiving a "dropoff/cliff" error. After contacting customer service I was asked to do basic troubleshooting. Once I had completed the actions requested, I was instructed that the robot was not repairable, but I could use the trade in program to get another. After asking why it cannot be repaired I was told, " The issue is unrepairable, because it is caused by the Cliff sensors, which are part of the unit itself, therefore they cannot be replaced.If there was an option to replace a part or repair the device we would always offer this option, because our customers satisfaction is our main priority."After looking at the bot, I realized I was able to take it apart and clean each sensor lense and put it back together within 60min and the robot works again. This provides me two thoughts, either the company doesn't want to take the time to repair something easy because it's more profitable to just say it's not repairable and buy a new one, or they do not really care about taking care of their customers because we are a dime a dozen. If a company is going to state that something isn't repairable then it should litterally be unrepairable, but to say that because you don't want ro waste your time doing it is not right. Be upfront with your customers and just tell them it's not cost effective to repair certain things due to cost.For how much a new robot would cost, the 60 min of time I spent saved me a lot of money in the back end.

    This company their customer service products resolutions all GARBAGE! $750 vacuum replaced with a lower quality model that never worked and wont resolve issue. This company has a call center with idiots repeating over and over some spiel off a piece of paper. Buy a Dyson they dont scam or treat their clients like the trash IRobots lack to properly clean.

    I own the S9 +. This robot sells for over $1000. From the day it arrived it has never been under our control. I set schedules and it ignores them running when ever it likes. Most of the time it believes it is vacuuming when it is sitting still according to the app. I have been on with customer service many times with no effect. Finally we decided it had to be set back for repairs. They asked for a receipt and a 3 second video of the problem. There is no way you can make a video showing the error in 3 seconds. They told me to post the video on ******** Later they told me they could get to the video and stopped talking. I'm stuck with an expensive tool that doesn't work and they are not willing to help. This is a terrible company for customer service. The video thing is a scam to stop people from sending back defective machines.

    Terrible product. Broke just after the 1 year warranty due to software update not completing. iRobot refused to fix or replace. Had to throw $1000 vacuum away!
