App continues to allow you to make purchases and accumulate cash back. I tried to view my recent activity but wasn't able to log in. When contacting service i got a notification account was terminated for violating terms. I asked for explanation and received none. As noted in our terms and conditions BeFrugal reserves the right to withhold payment of Cash Back rewards for suspected fraud, abuse of retailers or BeFrugal website, use of email spam to promote referrals, or for creating multiple user profiles.
This user has duplicate user profiles creating duplicate bonus. Please do not use BeFrugal for referral or sign-up bonus fraud. The user should remain one account only.

I was supposed to get 38% cashback from befrugal for this order. They say Temu denied it so I'm not getting it either. I'm owed $23.69 for that offer. I contacted Temu, but I only got deflective answers. Below, the email I received from befrugal " Hello, Here is an update regarding your Cash Back discrepancy for your 12/9/2024 Temu order #PO-211-05091666682150994. We have learned that the investigation was denied. This may have been a result of clicking on any links or popups outside the BeFrugal browser window, searching using an outside site, using a coupon code offer not listed on BeFrugal, having another coupon site's toolbar active, etc. As a result of the investigation being denied, the adjusted credit has been removed from your account. The response provided to us from the retailer was that the investigation was denied. As a result of the investigation being denied, no cash back was earned on the sale. Cash Back is based on commissions BeFrugal receives from the store. If BeFrugal does not receive commissions for orders placed directly with the store, we do no pay out cash back.

The determination of whether or not the order qualified was in no way decided by BeFrugal.
As Temu had already declined this inquiry, it is not be possible to receive cash back. The store is not paying any commission for this.

BeFrugal deactivated my account without previous notice. I dont even know the reason why my account was ************** email or notice was sent, nothing. Matter of fact my account was deactivated as soon as I requested payout, what a coincidence. This has happened to other people as well. Sounds to me like a scam. Being honest I dont care about the account, who would wanna have business with such shady people. All I care is about the money. They owe me 31 dollars I earned on cashback for a purchase I made, which is actually 21 because there is a 10 dollar bonus they give you for signing up which they can keep, I dont care but they need to pay the amount I earned.Before they provide an answer saying I violated the terms of service yada yada yada, I want proof of that.Business Response

Per review of the details provided the information was submitted after 60 days. As noted in our terms and conditions agreement inquiries regarding non-tracked purchases must be submitted for investigation within 60 days of the initial transaction. Due to restrictions imposed by retailers for timely inquiries, we are not able to open new inquiries for non-tracked purchases if the sale date was more than 60 days ago.
The users purchase was on August 31, 2024, and the user reached out to ********************** on November 24, 2024 which exceeds the time limit to open an inquiry with a retailer.

I made a purchase through a befrugal link and have already sent the receipt to befrugal. It's been half a year, and I still haven't received the cashback. The result I've been given is that the responsibility has been shifted to the merchant I purchased from, who supposedly needs to verify the receipt for half a year? It seems befrugal is notorious for using such excuses to deny cashback! In this way, customers are afraid to make large purchases through befrugal again. I contacted befrugal customer service on 10/12, but I haven't received any further response or resolution. I am now requesting befrugal to compensate me with $4.5 cashback!Business Response

BeFrugal submitted an inquiry with the retailer on June 16, 2024 in regards to the Paramount+ sale mentioned.
In general, we advise that inquiries can take around ***** days to resolve. This is just a guideline, however. Some stores may respond quicker while others may take additional time.
Once we receive further information, we will notify the customer and update their ********************** account accordingly.
We have also posted the $4.50 to the users BeFrugal account as pending until the retailer confirms the sale.

I'm aware that BeFrugal has a reputation for not paying out cashback on social media. ********** has already provided the rebate to BeFrugal, but my $4.50 is still pending after 6 months. However, I do not think I violate any policy, I just make several purchases, via ***********,all earnings are solely from ***********, some of them are succeeded, some of order cancel, but later, Bestbuy negate the cashback from the cancelled order,that means, only successful orders are given cashback by Bestbuy. I have been using Befrugal website offering additional percentage savings with purchases made thru certain merchant website. I repeatedly made purchases from BeFrugal advertised websites with guaranteed percentage bonus. Each time I made such purchase, the website own and operated by Befrugal registered my visits or shopping trips and then I was denied bonuses for using Busbud, ****** and **** websites while my visits to these merchants were registered with Befrugal. All my purchases were made thru Befrugal website. Befrugal denied my bonuses claiming that their website failed to monitor the multiple purchases I made. On some occasions I received percentage bonuses which were subsequently removed or stolen from me. It appears that Befrugal is engaged in a consumer fraud by inducing its customer to make purchases via ******************** website and then not crediting promised bonuses to customers accounts. While each per transaction fraud is small, just a few dollars, given the wide consumer base the total compiled ill-gotten gains are significant. I tried to resolve the issue with Befrugal customer support rep **** to no avail. I want a $25 credit to my account owed for bonuses lost, consumer fraud and the inconvenience caused by the Befrugal site administration.Business Response

The business provided answer is not responsive to my inquiry. BeFrugal, on its website, clearly provides specific percentage cash back after you shop using BeFrugal website. In instant matter, I was using BeFrugal website to shop at ******. Befrugal promised 2% cash back on my purchases at ******. Befrugal registered my shopping trip to Busbud via Befrugal website and contemporaneous purchases. I made qualifying purchases and Befrugal owes me 2% from the total. Period. If Befrugal told me that my owed 2% is conditioned on anything else whatsoever, like Busbuds kickbacks to compensate Befrugal for steering business their way, or either of them can exercise discretion whether or not to pay a promised percentage cash back I would never use Befrugal in first place. If Busbud failed to pay Befrugal the kickback, it is between Busbud and Befrugal. It is not my problem! I was told, plain and simple: use Befrugal for make purchases with Busbud and you will get 2% and I agreed to it when I clicked Befrugal green 2% button. I had the same failure to pay specific percentage cash back after I used Befrugal to shop other major retailers like ******, ****, etc.
Otherwise, it is a consumer fraud when Befrugal pays when it is so inclined. How do I know whether a merchant paid a kickback to Befrugal? I dont! It is clear that Befrugal makes promises of a specific percentage cash back to entice consumers to use Befrugal to shop with major US retailers and then pays by following a specific algorithm, say every third or fourth purchase. That was my experience. Please forward my feedback to Befrugal for review. If I dont get what Befrugal promised me I will file a formal complaint with the ******************************************** and City of Boston Consumer After all, Befrugal is positioned itself a legitimate Boston business, not some bait-and-switch carpet shop at ****** market.

The business provided answer is not responsive to my inquiry. I complied with the terms of condition set forth by BeFrugal. I dont have ability to check if Busbud paid the kickback to BeFrugal on a specific occasion. In all likelihood, it did, but BeFrugal decided not to credit my account. Clearly, ********************** operates a business based on outright consumer fraud, it pays users sometimes to encourage the further use of the BeFrugal web platform and does not pay in most cases to pocket the ill-gotten gains If BeFrugal did not receive the kickback from the merchantall , it does not excuse BeFrugal from paying the users that complied with the terms of condition set forth by BeFrugal. The BeFrugal users have no business relations with the merchant. It is BeFrugal that promised to credit cash back to the users accounts, not the merchant! Even if BeFrugal was not compensated by the contracting merchant, it is clearly BeFrugals loss. Please forward my feedback to Befrugal for review. If I dont get what BeFrugal promised me I will file a formal complaint with the ******************************************** and Boston Consumer Affairs. After all, when a legitimately registered business does not live up to what it promised to its users, the action should be taken to put such unlawful enterprise out of business.

Made purchase Oct 6 using befrugal click through and there system never reported the purchase. This included a bonus during that week they had to offer with 3 bucks for any site with 15 dollar purchase. Waited 25 days and nothing and tried to report via my click through and contacted them. They said they cannot track it even though it is in their system and i can see it in my account. I provided the order from **** as well. I am not disputing this with **** (as I ordered and received my product via them); I am disputing with you, Befrugal. Your company is not honoring your commitment to me by providing cashbackand bonus your site offered. I am not satisfied with this answer above as your are advertising the **** cashback; if, for some reason, Befrugal doesnt track **** clickthrough, then I get nothing. How am I able to know if **** takes my referral link from your site? I proved my order in my first email, and you have my tracking click in your system. I simply ask for the compensation with my bonus I signed up for.
If you cannot deliver on **** clickthroughs then simply do not advertise cash back **** and the myself and other customers can go elsewhere.

Again the cash back terms for ***** on the date of this purchase, specifically state that no cash back disputes are allowed.As the retailer does not review cash back disputes, if an order is not automatically credited to a users account as eligible for cash back, we are unable to further assist. We are unable to open an inquiry with the retailer. There was no order reported from ***** as such there is no cash back earned.
Please reference our terms and conditions "The determination of whether or not a purchase qualifies for Cash Back is at the sole discretion of BeFrugal. If a retailer fails to report a transaction to BeFrugal or withholds payment to BeFrugal, BeFrugal reserves the right to cancel the Cash Back associated with that transaction. "

Date of Cashback requested is 11 oct 24.I used Befrugal for shopping and get cashbacks, my account had 250$, as soon as i requested to withdraw my amount from my befrufal account, they deactivated my account and i was unable to logged in and use forgot password option. Upon asking them again and again, they didnt provide me explanation of reason, just said, due to security violation we deactivated your account, and then no reply after that. That was my hard earned money, from last few months i was collecting the amount and they disabled my account with no justification.Business Response

The transactions on the account were identified as fraudulent activity. The user was also maintaining multiple user profiles creating duplicate sign-up bonus. Due to fraudulent transactions and activities on the users account **********************'s terms and conditions were broken.As outlined in the terms and conditions agreement termination of any account without notice can be made at BeFrugal's discretion.

Hello,
Im reaching out because I find the timing of the account deactivation concerning. If my account violated your terms, why was it not deactivated immediately? It seems that I was allowed to continue shopping and accumulate funds over a period of three months, only to have my account suspended when I attempted to withdraw the funds.
While I acknowledge that I used two accounts and received a $10 sign-up bonus for one of them, it feels disproportionate to hold over $400 for this. Could you please explain why this situation wasnt addressed earlier and if there's a way to resolve this fairly?I would appreciate an explanation of the process and rationale behind this decision. Is there any possibility to review this further?

Again various transactions on the account were identified as fraudulent activity on top of the user maintaining multiple user profiles creating duplicate sign-up bonus (as confirmed in the users reply). BeFrugal does not allow for fraudulent transactions and activities by users. After being referred to by a close friend, I created an Befrugal's account. I went ahead made a Purchase on September 4, 2024 in the amount of US$12.99 from the merchant CyberGhost VPN after activating the cashback on Befrugal's website. The following day I reached out to further activate their highest cashback guarantee option and was instructed that the cashback has not yet been placed credited to my account but once it is showing then I should reach out to the team. The initial cashback was not reflecting on my account and I had to file a claim for the missing cashback on September 11 for which I received an immediate response for from customer service representative ****, where US$5.20 was deemed pending. On October 14, I noticed the US$5.20 is now showing as confirmed and as such I reach out to the team as instructed. Shortly that day, I received a notification indicating that the guaranteed amount would have been credited to my account in the additional amount of US$10.23. Now, on October 15, 2024 I am feeling excited and attempt to see the status of my cashback , however when selecting various tabs on the website it states, "PAGE NOT FOUND". In sheer confusion, I reach out via the live chat option where I immediately got to the speak to a representative none as ******** I would have explained my dilemma and person would have gone on to tell me that I "violated their terms and conditions" and as such my account was deactivated. I asked for further information on the matter and further told no relevant information would be given on the matter. Feeling disappointed I would have researched to see if anyone has ever faced this type of situation with Befrugal and to my surprise I am now seeing that many persons have this problem especially at the point where payouts are to be issued or cashbacks are to become payable.
