Im highly infuriated with this company this discrimination at it fullest.

Fidelity has gotten so so so bad. No customer service. All bots. Makes you wait on hold for hours and then hangs up on you. Oh and they aren't "a bank." They trot this out any time you try to get banking stuff done. Never mind that they call themselves a bank and issue you checks.

On the downside, I hope they change and improve their website. It is of inferior quality and really hard to navigate. There is no way to control what details are visible in my portfolio. I used to have stocks in both Td Ameritrade and Fidelity. I liked the Td Ameritrade site more than the Fidelity site. Td Ameritrade used to let their clients control what they could see about their investments like day gains and percentages and long term gains and percentages and stock prices. I can't see my transaction history and can't find the dates that I bought my companies. I like to wait until stocks are long term to sell them. Because their portfolio page is confusing, I'm afraid to keep more than about 3K in my account and only have two or three companies with them at one time. On the good side, I've been treated well both on the phone and at their branch office in *****. When one of my stocks gained one-hundred percent and I sold it to keep the gains, I only had to call them one time. They use voice recognition software and immediately sent me a check. They appear to be honest as far as sending you your gains.

Fidelity Investments needs to be shut down or investigated. I spent the past 3 months+ trying to get my 401k funds rolled over, due to the faulty and negligent issues the company has internally when it comes to seeking eligibility status from the previous employer the funds were through. I was given the run around by various customer service employees regarding my updated address and phone number they claimed to have change per my request upon multiple phone calls confirming my correct contact information. Over 3 months later, I found out that the old address and number are the only ones still on file and none of my new stuff is actually in there. This is an internal system issue that Fidelity needs to troubleshoot and correct IMMEDIATELY.The biggest issue in their internal system, admitted by a supervisor gal named ****, is their inability to appropriately communicate with employers of customers, which they claim is their requirement in the process of deeming eligibility for rollover of funds. They were so incompetently unable to communicate with my previous employer that I had to. My previous employer confirmed that I am eligible for 401k rollover with Fidelity, but Fidelity kept arguing with me that I was "ineligible" for whatever reason and they tried pointing fingers at my prior employer. ****, this said supervisor woman, lied to me last week. On a recorded phone call, she told me she would contact me on 3/20/24 by 3:00 PM and did NOT. I called and spoke with her supervisor to complain. She lied about being sick out of the office when I heard from her 5 days later to notify me I was finally eligible for rollover. Her supervisor did not report this was the reason or assist with the matter. Fidelity Investments only operates in the most unorganized and incompetent fashion. They lied to me about waiting periods and eligibility for over 3 months. Please consider investigating such asinine and negligent behaviors and operations here.

Jumped through all the hoops to open an account. As soon as I funded the account, the biometrics did not work and had too many attempts on the login. Instead of just resetting the password I was informed that the would not unlock my account because of 'activity' and blocked the account. I told them to give me my money back and they said that would take 10 business days. So after holding my money hostage for 10 days called back and was informed that it would be another 1-3 days before I would actually get my money. Not seen my money yet but I know I will never do business with this firm or any arm of this organization again. Do not start anything with these people unless you want YOUR money held for more than 2 weeks if anything goes wrong. I will find somebody willing to take my money to invest that will treat me like a customer and not a criminal trying to launder money!

My mom accidentally transferred to much money, and when she tried to transfer some out to pay for her taxes and other bills they started giving her the run around, talking down to her and treating her like a criminal, all because she transferred to much of her money into her fidelity account. It made me feel like they just wanted her money and nothing else. They didn't care if she couldn't pay her bills or her taxes. All they were worried about was losing her money than helping her.She is a 54 year old widow and is still trying to figure out how to do some things that her dead husband used to do.

I called Fidelity to ask them to withhold more in income tax and was told by a young man he couldn't handle it over the phone which can't be true because I've done it before. He told me he'd send me a WP-4 to fill out and it would take about a week to get it. It has now been over 3 weeks and I'm tired of having to deal with this over and over again. They need to either fire people or actually hire competent workers that don't just lie to us.

Fidelity investments is stealing from my account ********************** created a false violation in my account in order to stop me from day trading. My margin day trades are settled the next day, instead of instantaneously. They use my frozen money to day trade with my money.
