I was saving money on my 401K so I called Fidelity on Monday to withdraw some funds to invest in a property in ***** together with my brother the lady in fraud and security. *********************** treated me like a criminal, asking me all kinds of questions in an organized manner, and finally proceeded to block my account. It has been three days and I have been calling daily and they do not respond as to when or how they are going to unblock my account so that I can do my transaction.I I do not understand how they can prevent me from utilizing the funds. I have saved all my life.

Against my wishes I sent my ************** of ******** Document to Fidelity so I can manage my parent's retirement fund. They sent back a scanned copy of the *** and after calling them they stated that they "Discarded" the original document. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If they can't handle legal documents then how can you trust them to handle investments?

I received a letter from Fidelity Investments dated 1/17/2024 stating that disbursement activity in my accounts is under review and that limitations have been added to accounts: No longer eligible for opening or withdrawing any securities positions or cash balances. My debit cards are not working. Fidelity is not allowing me to make any transactions or withdraw any money from my accounts. I have been calling every single day since this happened and every day they have no information for me regarding why this has happened to my accounts and they will not provide me with a timeline as to when it will be resolved.

I quit a company that has fidelity as a 401k retirement, two weeks later they say I'm still active. I have asked repeatedly several times for fidelity to rq proof of employment, they refused.now I watch my account dwindle daily as fidelity laundering my money out of my pocket into hidden fidelity owned investments. My account, which they refused to close, is being robbed daily by fidelity and I've now lost hundreds dollars. They are doing the same thing as ******* *****,why are they not on jail.....I have been legally advised to start a complaint here, even though they are protected from the bbb to get things started.it would cost me infinitely to pursue on my own,and from here other legal entities can help if the bbb refuse to pursue.

This company is the worst. My son passed away and he had a check that wasn't cash from this company. I tried to get them to put it my name so I could cash and help pay for his funeral expenses. He also had a 401K with them too. They said he didn't have a beneficiary. I sent them all his information. His death certificate, ssn, drivers license, mail he received, birth certificate and all my information and a letter saying I was his power of attorney they just keep saying they still need more information. All I keep getting is the run around. This has been going on for over 6 month. So I'm thinking ok if my son didn't get this money and I didn't get this money then who is!

The company tries to compel its customers to remain with their establishment and give them complete control over their investments. Blackout dates are not considered when transferring funds from one company to another. Although they expect respect from their consumers, they do not reciprocate the same level of respect towards them.

October 7 my father died, and fidelity has not released his 401k to me, even though Im his beneficiary. They have real bad customer service and every time I ask for help , they just continue to push me over and transfer me to different departments. Me and my father had joint bank accounts, they continuously took out money from his account even though he had passed and they claimed that they werent aware. But the bank statements strictly says fidelity. I feel like people should get their money out of fidelity asap, because when its time to get the money out they take you through so much to get your money that you have work for.

Fidelity investments is the worst my husband passed away in 2017. I was just notified two months ago about his 401(k) and its been an absolute nightmare trying to get the money out with these people. They are giving me a runaround. Telling me to keep calling them back every week well today again not only are they charging $25 fee to mail a check theyre also charging a $25 fee to put it into my bank account. Absolutely ridiculous. and they are making me wait another week for the money. These people are the worst. Dont even use them. if my money is not in my account when they say so, I will be contacting my attorney. They think people are stupid. Well Im one thats not stupid they better give me that money.

Horrible customer service - my dad died 11/22; it's 1/24 and they are telling me that the funds STILL wont be release until March......AND they aren't providing us with any documentation of status. We have the monthly report from when he died but nothing since. Where is our money? My dad trusted them to do the right thing - all we have experienced is wrong. Where do we go for advocacy and assistance cuz it isn't coming from Fidelity.DO NOT USE THEM

They are the absolute worst! They refuse to release funds from my fathers 401k to me. My mother was never notified when she was alive. My father passed in 2011 and my mother in 2020. I have done everything theyve asked and beyond and they still refuse to do what they should be doing. They are completely unhelpful and continue to send the same paperwork over and over again asking for exactly what theyve been given already more than once. It should be illegal what they are doing.
