      My sister died in July of 2023 and she had listed 4 charities to receive the funds. I'm the ** of her estate and I've spent hours every week trying to get Fidelity to release the funds and they are not allowing it. Instead, they are trying to move the funds into a separate account under **********************. Each of the charities have spent hours talking to Fidelity and they get no where. All my sister wanted was her money to go to charity and this Sh*t H^ole company named Fidelity is not allowing it !!

      Fidelity just issued a 17k equity call, essentially freezing my account, for PDT despite the fact that prior to placing my ONE manual stop loss trade my counter was at ZERO! Furthermore I called and got multiple assurances that I was in compliance on a recorded line before executing the trade. They are corrupt or extremely incompetent and apathetic. They refused to offer a resolution so I will now close my account. Beware.

      Fidelity has the worst customer service. My father passed away in September and we have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service to have Dad's funds transferred to his beneficiaries. I am *** for my brothers account which was the most ridiculous and time consuming process to set up. We had to send in account application and *** paper work four different times to appease their ridiculous rules. The account is now set up and funds transferred but I'm unable to access any funds for 30 days since the *** is so new??? My brother really needs his monthly allowance. It's almost like they make the rules up as they go along so you can't access funds. Customers that are already grieving the death of a loved one should not have to go through this.

      Terrible, horrible, awful customer disservice. They made a mistake in issuing two checks. Okay, that happens. But 12 days later they are still "working to address the issue." Finally, they asked if I couldn't just go ahead and deposit a check made out to a corporation into my personal account??Really? Are you kidding me??How come zero stars is not an option? The problem is worse than when they started "addressing it."

      Christmas is here and bills are piling up, however I knew I could borrow against my 401k to help with rent. I got an eviction notice and called fidelity to request a hardship withdrawal on 11.27.23. It is now 12.11.23 and I still don't have my money. When I call they say your money was sent by check, when I entered my direct deposit info they still sent it by check. The agents say they can't stop the check and reissue my money by direct deposit. It has been about 3 weeks and now I'm in jeopardy of loosing my home. They say the mail is slow...no problems from Amazon or family members sending stuff for Christmas, so that excuse doesn't fly with me. I just need my money. I am beyond frustrated with this company and just need my money!!

      they suck! They didnt warn me my account was closed and let me put a check for **** in my closed account and then refused to give me the funds back and told me to talk to the issuer witch i did and they told me to talk to the bank and not only are they both refusing but wont give me the funds back witch were funds for my college and im not happy at all

      I've been a customer and investor with ******************** for over a decade with all my life savings from 55 yrs of working, and building retirement funds and just recently i asked for a 3000$ deposit from my 401k to my local bank to cover some Christmas gifts. Well i thought it could never happen but a fidelity representative sent my whole 401k portfolio to my local bank account 20x the amount i asked for? I contacted them on that day after their mistake and they said i would have to wait 10 days to get the phone recordings to verify my request. They never called back so i asked them what's going on. they confirmed i was right and they would take care of everything. Well they never called back and my portfolio was still empty after 10 days of waiting. Now they wanted me to send a registered Ck with a letter of instruction for the whole amount minus the 3000$ i needed for Christmas. So i complied. As of now its been another 5 days and no money was transferred to my 401k portfolio? And this was after a duration of several phone calls and hours of my own time! And forget about their virtual assistant online which was probably an AI idiot. So all this time my account could be making money while they dilladaly and I'm officially broke in between my SS# CK. I cant believe this company took such a nose dive with no creditability or security for a client like me. Definitely look for some one else to protect your life savings. A ****** lived is a ****** learned at your expense...

      Fidelity customer service is the worse I have ever encountered. You keep getting passed from one person to another and they say they''ll call you back but that never happens.The only reason I am with the is that because my companies 401k is there.Run don't walk if you are considering Fidelity.

      Fidelity has decidedly gone down hill. Theres an attempt at mass marketing and automation that has left little in terms of timely customer service. My recent experience as an estate administrator has been poor. The division for this purpose never answers a call, but leaves a message to set up an appointment to talk THE NEXT WEEK, or if you like, they can call you back IN TWO OR THREE DAYS! This is no longer the company it used to be.
